Once on the steep *full clutch*
*select gear 1*
*release the clutch slowly until you hear the change of sound (may shake a bit) then leave your foot there
*once sound has changed hand break down and apply acceleration accordingly*
Top tip: *Do not forget to indicate the way you intend to turn once you accelerated accordingly* and carry money for cool drink even if you're Michael Schumacher! 😂😉

@Nqobile Sikhosana Please tell him how you feel if he explode let him explode but your message will be heard. Don't let him steal your dreams. Fight for what is rightfully yours because you deserve to own a driver's license like others. Tell him not to put his problems on you.
Thank you, I struggle with the steep pill and at Driving school I was taught a different technique where the hand break is not even included. I just balance using a full clutch and break. Then I will put gear 1 and half clutch slowly then when it starts to shake I just let go back f the break and push on the accelerator a bit then it will move by itself. I don’t know if it’s a good technique
I feel like me involving the handbrake will confuse me more as I have not practiced and I’m getting tested this week

The technique they are teaching you it's for those who have experience and know how to balance the truck well but if your feet are still shaking the handbrake will give you time to think and it will make sure that your truck won't roll. The step hill is a beast even experience driver's struggle sometimes on the road and I wish you well and also if you can check the technique they are using is the same thing I'm talking about clutch control but it's the shortcut and I'm only using it outside when I'm on the robot or stop sign. Yes it works but you should practice regularly 🙏🙏

Because at some places you start with step hill I remember benoni I did step hill first and kempton park I went to the pole first and Limpopo senwabarwana I went to the step hill first so you are not alone my sister I did everything in my power to have a driver's license 🤷♂️

Sir.. please explain to what is the actual way to do your code 10 left turn properly.. do l first move then check mirrors and blind spot OR l first check the mirrors and blind spot then l select gear 1 and move off? Which way because l failed because of my observation in the left turn
Masande Shawn I'm sorry to hear that but let me say this. Left turn is the easiest of them all and it depends on which testing centers you booked bcs other testing centers do their left turn after steep hill so that time your truck will be in motion and all you have to do is to observe and indicate while others like sandton dltc they start with pre -trip inspection then left turn immediately.

l learning my lessons in a truck so my intructor says l not put my leg on accelerater he says it can go it self whn l live the clash and breaks

But those who has no money can’t afford to book again so that’s why I tell them to use old methods # A Banker and you will never go wrong 💯✅ clutch control method made our sisters agree even if there didn’t want to give instructors a chance ✅🤷🏽♂️

#Letshego Olga Dinoke I hear what you are saying and I will like you to find a truck and do it like I said and you will be surprised.
The hand brake will be holding the vehicle stationary, You step on the clutch then put the vehicle into gear then afterwards slowly release the clutch while also slightly stepping on the gas (the clutch is for reaching the biting point & the gas is to give it enough power to move since you'd be on a steep). Once you reach the biting point (vehicle starts shaking) with your clutch & accelerator pressed (simultaneously) you can then release the hand brake. Does it make sense now?
