@@GeneralFrankenberry to be honest I can't even remember it was something I read in a Reebok article I think stating that it was a lifestyle shoe. Technically you probably couldn play basketball in them because the classic Chuck Taylor was a on Court basketball shoe the modern basketball shoes is just an upgrade of a actual tennis court sneaker. Weight and ankle support are subjective for the individual player because low tops are a thing. As for myself I'm a Hooper I buy hundreds of shoes just to play ball in fresh out the box. I look for traction lockdown and cushioning sometimes breathability depending on how many pairs you own because one sweaty game can destroy your shoes from the inside really haven't played in any low tops because I'm old school but if you like them and you can get them for a deal I wouldn't tell you not to try.👍
