I sooo love this watch! Long time huawei user for years already, from phones, tablet and watches. This is my 3rd huawei watch and i would say it's a great product! So happy to know that people are buying this model due to positive reviews from users. In one local online shop here in the Philippines they sold around 200 to 300 units per day. As of today, they already sold 8,700 for a month now i guess. And that's excluding the stores at the malls etc and other online shops. So you can imagine the success of Huawei for this model alone.
Kabayan! can you recieve normal notifications on the watch like viber, whatsapp and sms?
Does it work well in the US too? I'm afraid after buying it some apps don't work
@@Npfernandez you can received every notification on your phone. you can set that on the Huawei health app settings.
I just got mine 2 days ago and so far I think it is a Great Value for Money.

@@seifeldin224 yes. But for iphone you can only read whatsapp. Cannot reply. Second, you transfer music. For android, you can transfer music to the watch because it has internal memory.

I want Huawei to make a comeback. But with emphasis on data security. The rest, they are doing much better than almost all companies in the world. Blame Apple for being anti-competitive

My partner bought me Watchfit 3 as a gift. Assuming developments been made since my Watchfit version 1 especially for text size support which I was waiting but Huawei never add larger text support as an option. So I could't use some of the options.
Huge dissappointment when I couldn't find how to make the text size larger in my new Watchfit 3. There is no option for this under in the Settings > Display.
Well Text are way too small for my eyes.
I was thinking my eyes so bad but I can read everything in my friend's watch with larger text option.
Don't get me wrong I am a huge fan of Huawei. I still use Mate 20X (still compete with new models especially in camera) thinking to buying new Mate 70 when released.
Such a shame this beautiful watch needs to return for refund. I waited so long with version 1 wishing they will add text size adjustment option for my Watchfit 1.
I won't do the same mistake again.

At min 4:20 you are connected to an Iphone and controlling the music. How is this possible? I thought this would only work with an Android device.
I tried. It only controls music playing on your phone but not sync.

Yes. At least definitely on Fit 2 so I should imagine 3 also

Can you throw notifications off the screen with a hand gesture? For example, a backward rotation?
It looks great, say what you want about apple but they were right to go with a square shape for smart watches. If you're like me and want to wear a classic watch on one wrist and smart watch on the other you would look silly with both being round (and of different sizes) so having the smart one be square fixes the issue
I have a Watch 6 Classic. Samsung is going the squircle route with the Watch 7 and it seems everyone but me hates it. I actually really like the way it looks but everyone on the r/galaxywatch subreddit are acting like Samsung just commited genocide. I'm being 100% serious too, i was the only one in the 100s of comments on the new design that said I liked it.
Don't see how the shape of the two watches on each wrist change how stupid it looks. I reckon ppl who think wearing two watches looks stupid will think the same regardless of the shape. I think it would be better if one was a fitness band with a smaller profile. But the huge apple watch size isn't gonna change the perception much.
@@gcbryan89 if you're like me and love classic watches, a square one gives the impression it's not trying to replace it. Once you go the garmin route and barely have one or two squared smartwatches in your lineup, its sort of saying you either choose the smart one or the classic one. For me this is a wasted opportunity to bring new people to your ecosystem because I for one will choose the classic ones if presented with a choice over the other. A square is more compelling to me because it doesn't look like it tries to compete and replace my wristwatches. Doesn't it make sense? Because in my head it does 🤣

Yes, third party straps are available, you just have to pay attention to the required attachment mechanism.

It has a built in GPS so shows the distance and track.

so is the wrist strap one that you can change out like a normal smartwatch? I have a Honor Magic Watch 2 that is getting a little long in the tooth, I actually had to super glue the front of it back on. Had it for years at this point and I love the watch, but looking for a new upgraded one... Was looking at the gt 4 also.
There's strap adaptors on AliExpress. Picked up a pair for my other 20mm watch straps but the Watch3 doesn't arrive here till Monday so not sure if they work or not. Will report back!

No, he does not support hiking mode and thats the worst thing about this watch.
Hiking mode would pretty much just be outdoor walking I guess.
@@bigload6 not exactly, hiking is more similar to climbing. You need altimeter to be able to measure your elevation, and not just 2D walking. This watch doesnt have altimeter
I have the "raise to wake" setting enabled, and when I lift my wrist, the screen turns on. However, I have a problem after sleeping - when the watch is idle, and I wake up and raise my wrist, the screen doesn't turn on immediately. I have to move around for it to work.

I just bought the Huawei watch fit 3, after owning the Apple Watch, and I’ll take Huawei any day over the Apple Watch . Apple charges to much for what they give you, way to much! I’m sick of Apple’s greed and monopolies. China can make really good products, they can also make really bad cheap stuff too. Huawei is a good product, so are their phones, but I live in Egypt where we still use Huawei products. As far as America being worried China will steal everyone’s information , tell me who doesnt steal everyone’s information, in fact, Apple looks at your phone pics now, and if they don’t like what they see, they will call the cops on you.
However, you CANNOT download the preloaded apps available to an Apple IPhone. Deal breaker for me

It's very good for the price, but the calorie tracking is absolutely terrible.

You can’t download services like youtube music on the watch. But you can control said music services (skip tracks etc) as long as they have been opened and started on your phone

Fitbit Sense 2 as it has ECG/NFC and other features but Google will be terminating these devices since they bought Fitbit and use it to build their own shitty battery life watches on that tech. Fitbit used to be great. The Sense 2 will be my last one though.

Sadly in Greece there is no pulse wave arythmia and temperature.

True sleep is still garbage and it is not accurate
I got a Vivoactive 5 that cost double the money and it's much worse. My fit 2 at least understood that if I was up and drinking tea and on my sofa that I was awake, the VA5 doesn't. It's just a bad point on watches. Don't buy a watch for sleep because it's junk on most brands.
