As Jason said, I disable all the RGB on my case Antec CX200 "Fish Tank" as it was affordable comparing to those Be-Quiet cases. The only problem is that the post office delivery guy always perform illegally box-kicking. As a result, I've 3 x replacements of my Antec CX200 Fish Tank as it was cracked / damaged. I drove 2 hrs to the warehouse to got the last replacement.

Yes! My favourite series again. Love the boost my build series. Both builds this time weren't that bad from the start. The 1000 dollar build is definitely better off with AM5 over a intel 12th gen. Now that build has a upgrade path. Love mr Bear getting some pats. Good video like always.

I have the same XFX 6800 GPU, it's great. My little 12400F can keep up with the 7600/12600K CPU, thanks to the BCLK OC of the B760M PG Riptide. I plan to buy a Phantom Spirit or Pearless Assassin, because my old little Cooler Master Hyper 212 can't keep up with the summer heat. Hey I was wondering if you could try/look at the Acer Predator GM7000 SSD compared to the Lexar NM790. Its cheaper, about the same speed, listed as a high-end SSD on the SSD tier list, and has a vram cache whereas the lexar doesn't. Wondering why its not more popular.
That GPU is huge, I bought a used Fractal Design Meshify 2 Mini in mint condition very cheap, to replace my Meshify C (missing front USB, scratches, some missing screws), and this XFX card simply did not fit. Great card, but must be really careful choosing a case.
I like the 12600 KF. Did not like the B series motherboard. Get a Z based instead. This simple change made it possible to jump to C40 latency. 32 GB. RAM . RGB Ram may not fit that thermalright cooler. Corsair vengece RGB will not fit that cooler.
Got myself a 6750xt couple months back for 330$, and after a single day they dropped price to 300 😂😂, however I've had a terrible experience so far, screen tearing, shutting off like when switching resolution, brightness flickering, and my monitor is freesync premium, never had these problems on rtx 2060, only time it runs relatively smoothly is when using super resolution
Hi Jason. Love the detail in the videos. Just jumped to AM5 with a 7950X3D on an MSI X670E gaming plus - and it won't recognise the CPU. Seems to be a common problem. Anyone else come across a fix for this?
I did a build with the 6800 and bitfenix case, and at first it didnt fit but i took off the cooler, ram, and 24 pin connector and it fit. It was tight but it worked so just letting you know
If 7800X3D drops to like $250 on Prime Day, I'm going to have to pull the trigger on it. It's looking like the 9700X might be slightly better than it for gaming, but that could cost like $350 to $399. Thumbs up!
Have a 4080 Super OC coming Tomorrow just to be Nosey... Any of you guys think the 16 Pin Cable that came with the PSU'd be Better than the Adaptor that'll comes with the Card and Split the Load on the PSU...??? Still Leary of the 16 Pin Connectors themselves, but never considered the Adaptor vs the Supplied Cable with the PSU Differences... This is getting Hooked Up to a Vetroo GV1000...
I don't trust either of them. What was Nvidia thinking? Check your warranty conditions, some manufacturers say not using the supplied cable that comes with the card voids the warranty. Not heard many reports of them failing on 4080's though.
As of now Rx 6800 goes down to like $260 on amazon and I am eyeing this gpu and I would like to make it a combo with either 5600x or Micro Center have this deal on 5800x3d with mobo and ram for like $350 but the don’t have a store near me. This will be my first gaming rig. What’s your thoughts on that?
hi jason i love ur videos i watch every single one they're very informative. i was wondering if the Gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2 ATX is a good mobo for a 5600? its been going on sale for 80 bucks from 100 so idk whats up with that but its a good deal right? i just don't want it to give me any headaches. also I'm thinking about using 4 sticks of ram, is that going to be a problem? sorry for the long message, hope youre having a good day
@@kelley09162 ive heard its better but i really like the look of 4 sticks honestly thats it. if it wont be a problem or affect performance much i dont mind
Just found your channel: I'm new to P.C. been studying through you and other resources. Where can I go to build a P.C. that suits around my needs? I'll spend what I have to for reliability and years of upgrades, but I'm not really looking for flashy, just more for study, possibly video calling, and some gaming. My main goal for gaming is to be able to play the shooter games I like with knowing I have confidence in my setup, and I'm not lagging or something due to having outdated materials. Please point me to a website or video so i dont spend unnecessary money for my applications.
I grabbed that deepcool case with 3 rgb fans for 60 bucks at the beginning of this month lol just barely before all that. The bitfenix was my second option though.
Hey Jason, I got a system with a 2060 super and a ryzen 5 3600 with 16 gb of ddr4 and a 512 gb pcie 3.0 ssd. I got it used for the equivalent of 250 usd, what do you think?
I scored a brand new EVGA gt 1000 supernova for 68 bucks at my local best buy was an unopened return that just sat in back room 😅 I hope it will run my 7900xtx build if not might just build my son a nice mid tier setup.
Good, but one of these whole build is same price as only the gpu. I don't think a person who get that build will feel less happy in life than the person with expensive gpu, or that the person with $786 gpu will be more happy than person who get that whole build.

Jason, what gains can I get going with ASUS ROG Z790-E Gaming WiFi II vs ASUS Tuf Gaming Z790 Pro WiFi? There’s basically a £200 difference here in the UK
I would say the ASUS ROG isn't worth it over the ASUS TUF. I don't love the TUF either because somewhat recently ASUS Scammed Gamer's Nexus so I can't recommend any of their products. However if you're set between those two go TUF.
I would appreciate some help. I bought a preebuilt pc with a AMD 5500 and radeon 6600 with A520 something motherboard and 16 GB of ram. I am new to this so I would like some suggestions on how to upgrade my pc. Love the videos!
Why do motherboard manufacturers default to providing 4 RAM sockets when you can get a single stick of 64GB? The fastest motherboards are usually 2 sockets. Couldn't they cut costs by delivering single RAM socket motherboards for the midrange?
I feel your reactions, a guy on fb was asking about a build with a 8600G, $200 board, 750W psu and case for $95 each, he is going to spend $760 to get less than 1650 performance, instead of something like a 5600 + 6750 XT, told him and he replied that he said he was going to buy his gpu later ☠
@@SpoonHurler Yeah, a Gigabyte b650 aorus elite AX ICE, he also got 32gb 6400 mhz ram, another guy said "don't pay attention to him, the pc you are building is fine" lol
I was trying to snag a Teamgroup m34 for my first build but I missed out, what would you recommend in terms of similar performance and not a drastic increase in price?
So I'm having the weirdest issue and I can't find a similar case anywhere I think you can help! Whenever I start up the PC and start gaming I get consistent fps drops after 5-10 mins (99% 10-20 fps) As soon as I restart the problem gets fixed and I can game all day without any concerns but ONLY if I restart Anyone knows what the problem may be? My rig is new I just built it last week
New to this channel and you seem so knowledgeable :) id love to have the confidence to build my own pc but would somehow mess it up 😂. could you recommend a pc prebuilt + monitor if i had say €1500 - mainly playing World of Warcraft for the new expansion coming in august .
Thanks so much, glad you found us! I'm sure you could build it and it would run :) But in the meantime, check out our Best Prebuilt 2024 and Best Gaming Monitors 2024 videos for our recs!
Asrock b650m pro motherboard(for AMD 7000 cpu) doesn't have a port for my Sound Blaster Z sound card. which other motherboard do you recommend that has port for my sound card?
Need more info on 7900 gre it has had driver update as and memory over looking unlocked and no one mentions it although most say it the best fps per dollar
I will somewhat disagree with you on the RGB stuff. You may be able to turn off the RGB, but you can't turn off the giant window in the side panel, or the hideously mismatched component color schemes it shows off if you have it and are building just for price/performance ratios. A solid side panel is an aesthetic choice you make to be freed from the tacky and tasteless color schemes part manufacturers love to saddle us with. Don't care about the RGB per se, but a solid black box with no window is IMHO a very desirable feature if you don't want your PC to look like a clown explodes in it.
I'm seeing the XFX Speedster RX 6800 for $269 on Amazon, and I've been seeing the XFX Speedster RX 7900xtx moving between $649 to $700 and back up to $900, and the sellers are always changing and they usually have just a few reviews. Are lots of people trying to scam others or are they just good deals??
Hey Jason, I have a really really serious question over here in Germany I need to know if it makes sense to upgrade my PC from an I5 10400F with 1 ram stick of ddr4 (very slow speed) to a new ddr5 mainboard with an Ryzen 7600 and 32 gigs of ddr5 ram (6000) while keeping my 1660 super for another 5 months in this build until i will buy a new gpu???
Hey Jason! Sorry if this seems spammy, I asked this question yesterday as well on a more dated video, so i hope u dont mind me asking again. But I built a pc with your recommendations. Ryzen 7600x with the B650M board. Now I managed to grab a Rtx 3080ti for 400 euros from a friend. But I'm noticing it's running very hot in my room. I'm wondering if there's an alternative, if I should just fork over a bit of of extra money to get a 4070/S/Ti/TiS, or if I should just keep the 3080ti, or maybe you even have a suggestion for a comepletely diferent gpu. Can you help me out? I'm a bit clueless
3080ti is a good combo with 7600X. Depends on what those other GPUs are running if its a good deal or not but you already have it so there's that. For hot spaces focus on the airflow in your case. I actually talked about this in our latest Q&A videos this month though I can't remember if its in our first or second episode sorry. But focus on getting a case with solid air flow and a slightly beefier cooler
@@PCBuilderChannel Thank you for your response! I should've clarified that I can still return the GPU and that I'll get my 400 euros back, so I wouldn't pay double the money for 2 cards if I would want a brand new one, would you say to still keep 3080Ti regardless? I also got the DeepCool AK620, so my cpu seems to be fine. I might still have to look at a better case though. I have the Phantom 530 from years ago, I just replaced everything I had, but I don't have any fans besides the stock ones and the front panel doesnt have micro usb
4070 TI Super is the only worthwhile upgrade here but that won't help the heat issue. I'd suggest looking at better fans potentially and definitely manually tuning your speed curve for both the CPU and GPU. The 3080 TI is definitely dumping heat into the case but you need figure out a plan to deal with that... you might need a different case with bigger fans like the Monotech 903 AIR l which would just be a 70-ish USD upgrade.
What i do like about the 3060 is the 12g of vram, not only is that makes you slightly future proof. But also that vram makes this a very good budget card for AI workload. Definitely a niche market and use case, but i definitely appreciate that
Yep, if the model doesn't fit, the system will just quit 😂. It's also not slow for it's price range and ray tracing needs vram for some features so paired with good upscaling it can still be viable imho. If that's your budget range. I still like the 4070 Super more for AI/ML and gaming but I should cause it's almost twice as much
@@PCBuilderChannel Absolutely, but this is also why i hate amd for not developing their ai support. I know it can work, but definitely not as easy especially in windows. This is also especially painful, because here in Indonesia, the used market price for the 6700xt is cheaper than a used 3060. And most of the 6700xt are 3 fan card (which i prefer)
I know it's boring. But I have a 5600x running a 6600 GPU. This prime day coming up I want to upgrade my GPU. What's the best GPU under $300 should I get?
Not under 300 usd but I'd be aiming for a rx6800 if I were in your boat before they sell through. Sell some cans, mow done lawns, haul some junk, anything to make the difference if you can.
hey what’s up pc builder ! I’m new to the pc building scene but I really want to build a 1440p pc but I only have 1000 are there any videos or recommendations u have thank you 🙏
Hey, is it currently worth getting a new pc or should I wait for new gpus? (would like to put together a 4070ti super build, they are priced at about 750€ here)
Depends on your market but I'd say its a good time to build. That GPU isn't the best price to performance in the US market but it might be for you. See our latest GPU Market Update video for more
Im trying to see what else I can change on my pc list to make it a little cheaper. Thinking about getting non rgb ram since the rest of the fans are at least it'll save a few bucks there. Already bought the cpu, gpu, and case just need the rest. Besides that I think my list is good but would like to see what other people think on it.
Could you go a different direction for me? Looking to build a PC for day trading not gaming. 500-700$ budget. Thinking I don’t need much for a GPU and focus on cpu and ram. Would appreciate the input!
So I made this for you though it is a little over budget and I'm not sure how good a GPU you need for day trading. It's list / Mdxz34 in PC Part Picker

What PC Parts are you targeting for Prime Day in July?
AMD Radeon RX 6750XT and 1440p Gaming Monitor
I may take this offer up I still need a few more parts myself like a monitor, ram, psu, motherboard, cpu cooler, and ssd.
1440p IPS ultrawide gaming monitor.

Total: $209.98 A couple changes I'd make for the 1st build.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor ($130.00)
Power Supply: Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 (2024) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.98 @ Amazon)
16:00 unless, you have like i3 12100f paired with 1660 super, 16 GB still remain good conbination for that budget.
Hard to top the Corsair 4000d with rm750e preinstalled for $155 if building from nothing
It was tight but it worked so just letting you know
Im stealing that $1000 build upgrade for a friend of mine who is coming from an amd fx system.
Its exciting to hit AM5 at that price!!
He might feel that upgrade
@@veilmontTV”might” lol
If 7800X3D drops to like $250 on Prime Day, I'm going to have to pull the trigger on it. It's looking like the 9700X might be slightly better than it for gaming, but that could cost like $350 to $399. Thumbs up!
This if that happens my am5 will be built far quicker. I was waiting on the 9000x3d. I started piecing it together already
You can already pick up a 7800X3D for that price. 😂😂
I believe amd has already confirmed that none of the non x3d 9xxx series cpus will be better at gaming that the 7800x3d.
These videos are invaluable to builders thanks Jason
Thank you so much rand! So appreciative for your support :)
I used the Pop Air on my last build, and I like it. $80 was a good price at the time, though.
Most games I'm playing now using upwards of 20-24 GB of RAM. 32 is the new 16.
Just cleaned my pc today and reapplied thermal paste, idle temps at 38-40 (C)
Way to go!
Awesome!!!
What’s your thoughts on that?
hi jason i love ur videos i watch every single one they're very informative. i was wondering if the Gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2 ATX is a good mobo for a 5600? its been going on sale for 80 bucks from 100 so idk whats up with that but its a good deal right? i just don't want it to give me any headaches. also I'm thinking about using 4 sticks of ram, is that going to be a problem? sorry for the long message, hope youre having a good day
Yes the Motherboard is good.
As for the RAM 2 sticks are better and less expensive.
@@kelley09162 ive heard its better but i really like the look of 4 sticks honestly thats it. if it wont be a problem or affect performance much i dont mind
I currently have an i9 10900 paired with a 3070. Which one should I upgrade first?
Option 3: hold on to what you have for another 2 years and then upgrade everything.
PC Part Picker is where Jason and others here go to.
I can make a parts list for if you want, I just want to know your budget.
Man a good SolidEdge or KiCAD model is well over 16 GB, gotta have more. I am undecided on 32 or 64 (maybe 48) dor OpenSCAD even.
You make such great videos!!! Thanks for doing what you do.
Much appreciated! So glad you're enjoying the channel!
I scored a brand new EVGA gt 1000 supernova for 68 bucks at my local best buy was an unopened return that just sat in back room 😅 I hope it will run my 7900xtx build if not might just build my son a nice mid tier setup.
The PNY RTX 4070TI SUPER 16GB VERTO (No RGB) is at $786!!!!!!! Dont let this slide!!! I picked one up
white excellence right here just being able to spend 800USD and not even bat an eye. proud of you my brother
Good, but one of these whole build is same price as only the gpu. I don't think a person who get that build will feel less happy in life than the person with expensive gpu,
or that the person with $786 gpu will be more happy than person who get that whole build.
how does this compare to 7900 xt?
I pais 860 for a 7900 xtx taichi way better valie
id stick with enermax psus and asus motherboards. my specs asus b450 plus 2 am4mb ryzen 7 5800x 81gb gskill ripjaw ram artic cooler. enermax revolutionary dx 850w psu and asus radeon rx 7600 xt 16gb 128bit with a westing house 27inch 1440p gaming monitor i love my set up. but i know the asus b450 mbs are hard to find and are expensive thats why im glad that i picked up 2 of them still in the box unopened for my back ups in case my mb goes
Yea there’s something telling me that the ROG just isn’t worth it. Cheers!
Jason, wanted to ask about ssd’s? Will it get cheaper for prime day?
It's possible though we don't know for sure
@@kelley09162 thanks for the reply bro
I would appreciate some help. I bought a preebuilt pc with a AMD 5500 and radeon 6600 with A520 something motherboard and 16 GB of ram. I am new to this so I would like some suggestions on how to upgrade my pc. Love the videos!
Why do motherboard manufacturers default to providing 4 RAM sockets when you can get a single stick of 64GB? The fastest motherboards are usually 2 sockets. Couldn't they cut costs by delivering single RAM socket motherboards for the midrange?
single slot is terrible performance. 2 sticks > 1 stick for performance. dual channel makes a huge difference in performance
8600G with a 200usd mobo?!!!
@@SpoonHurler Yeah, a Gigabyte b650 aorus elite AX ICE, he also got 32gb 6400 mhz ram, another guy said "don't pay attention to him, the pc you are building is fine" lol

Asrock PG Lightning
Should I buy the 7800X3D with new top motherboard for gaming during the upcoming prime days? Or wait for the next gen 9000 amd cpus later this year?
Since you're using it for Gaming go 7800X3D since we don't know when the 9800X3D is coming out.

I was trying to snag a Teamgroup m34 for my first build but I missed out, what would you recommend in terms of similar performance and not a drastic increase in price?
Check out our Best SSD for Gaming 2024 video for more options
So I'm having the weirdest issue and I can't find a similar case anywhere I think you can help!
Whenever I start up the PC and start gaming I get consistent fps drops after 5-10 mins (99% 10-20 fps)
As soon as I restart the problem gets fixed and I can game all day without any concerns but ONLY if I restart
Anyone knows what the problem may be? My rig is new I just built it last week
New to this channel and you seem so knowledgeable :) id love to have the confidence to build my own pc but would somehow mess it up 😂. could you recommend a pc prebuilt + monitor if i had say €1500 - mainly playing World of Warcraft for the new expansion coming in august .

As an absolute RGB hater , I second that. This circus on the table needs to end.
With your $1000 build, would swapping GPUs to a rx6750xt still be a good build? i found one for $220
Yes it would
God bless you man! Get better get some rest I love your videos man!

Hey Jason, I have a really really serious question over here in Germany
I need to know if it makes sense to upgrade my PC from an I5 10400F with 1 ram stick of ddr4 (very slow speed) to a new ddr5 mainboard with an Ryzen 7600 and 32 gigs of ddr5 ram (6000)
while keeping my 1660 super for another 5 months in this build until i will buy a new gpu???
Answered elsewhere!
I'm still rocking a 6750xt paired with a 5600x, crushing my gaming needs!
@@ExpiredSnowoh that's a Case issue definitely, that's the upgrade
More fans will just heat up your room faster. You need to undervolt
What i do like about the 3060 is the 12g of vram, not only is that makes you slightly future proof. But also that vram makes this a very good budget card for AI workload. Definitely a niche market and use case, but i definitely appreciate that
And by far the best Nvidia option in that price range if you need Nvidia only for those niche cases
Yep, if the model doesn't fit, the system will just quit 😂.
It's also not slow for it's price range and ray tracing needs vram for some features so paired with good upscaling it can still be viable imho. If that's your budget range. I still like the 4070 Super more for AI/ML and gaming but I should cause it's almost twice as much
@@PCBuilderChannel
Absolutely, but this is also why i hate amd for not developing their ai support. I know it can work, but definitely not as easy especially in windows.
This is also especially painful, because here in Indonesia, the used market price for the 6700xt is cheaper than a used 3060. And most of the 6700xt are 3 fan card (which i prefer)
The 3060 was my ai workhorse up until a few months ago, but I upgraded to a 4070 super. The 3060 was one of nvidia’s best “mistakes”
6750XT would be a great choice if you can go 300 USD
@@kelley09162 This also, not sure I'd make that small of a jump but it's a much better 1440p card if that's what you play at.

Hey, is it currently worth getting a new pc or should I wait for new gpus? (would like to put together a 4070ti super build, they are priced at about 750€ here)
Depends on your market but I'd say its a good time to build. That GPU isn't the best price to performance in the US market but it might be for you. See our latest GPU Market Update video for more
@@PCBuilderChannel thank you for answering :)
Feel free to post your PC Part Picker List on a Community Post and I can take a look.
always great and realistic builds
except for the windows os :p could always do better but i digress
I bought a Deepcool AK620 white digital air cooler then that news came out the next day, sucks cause I really like Deepcool's styling.
Prices are the same or worse than it hss been for the past two years here in Canada for gpus. Hopefully amazon prime day will have at least some deals
I get confused. Is it A620M Pro or B650M Pro?
If you mean what to buy definitely B650M. A620 Motherboards aren't worth it.
Is 850 w good for 4080 super and 7800x3d
I think that's okay but to be sure put your build into PC Part Picker and times the watts by 1.5
Sounds about right but always double check the way we show you in our best PSU 2024 video.
