Would it be possible to mount those long reversing lights inside the back door. They’d be safe from damage ( safe from Zombies as well ). They’d be good for work lights and reversing lights too
Yes, I considered that. Thing is, they would not be safe from me lobbing things inside the back. Furniture and that kind of thing. Oh, just got it. Mounted to the door. Yes, that might work.
Hi, I posted a comment here earlier and I notice it seems to have vanished. Did I write something I shouldn't have or are electronic pixies up to mischief?
@@sleepycatpictures1176 Great stuff. Was worried I'd said something I shouldn't. In a nutshell:- Possibly too late to be helpful but The OEM wiring for the reversing sensors should be in the opposite spot, on the passenger side. If you're not connecting the OEM beeper-box you'd probably have to cut the connector off but it might provide a handy source of a reversing-light power feed. Regarding the reversing lights, I just swapped the bulb(s) for super-powerful LED alternatives and they're much brighter. Auxito (hopefully mentioning them by name isn't what got my post removed for "advertising") do an LED bulb that's the same size as a reversing light bulb but it's way brighter. Other LED bulbs are available. And, if I still can't see, I have 3 "camp lights" around the back of my D2 that can be switched on by a dashboard switch and I've always found the 300w they provide to be adequate.
@@sleepycatpictures1176 If you're dabbling in LED bulbs, be aware that the quality and results vary enormously depending on the technology used. I spent about £80 on various bulbs before settling on one particular brand (mentioning no names) that are fairly affordable and seem to be very high quality. The camp lights have proved their worth on a number of occasions. If you're camping next to a reservoir or reversing down a muddy slope near a cliff-edge you don't want ANY surprises!
Thank you !! Alway fine watching You
