Sooo are we gonna ignore the fact that Kartana is extremely intelligent and is actually capable of native speech on par with humans? He was like this in the anime too. If you reverse all his dialogue in the anime he's literally just talking but in reverse.
Doesn't anime Kartana only repeat one sentence in the anime though? Something like "I cut the strongest thing" or "I cut a worthless thing"? Maybe it's smart, but I guess we never considered a living papercut might not wanna hold a conversation even if it can speak...

A correction for the second phrase from 0:16 -0:30, The voice clip of Sam is actually him saying “Ha! Wide Open!” Instead of “Hiyon.” Still a good voice clip to use for that instance!

The reason why he’s talking because it’s actually a spirit of a human posing as a paper samurai and his curse as a paper samurai someone wrote the paper in reverse and when the human spirit finally possessed the paper it holds itself up and add some colors to its self

People really dont understand how badass kartanas truly are, they are honorable mon who live alongside humans in their own realms, have this incredibly cool samurai thematic, and are naturally overly strong by just existing, theres a reason why they are some of the strongest non-box legendary pokemon.
