Thanks for watching! The Bambu Lab A1 Mini is on sale for a limited time, check out the description for more info! 😃
What cad do you use? Ive been looking for a good cad that’s easy to understand and allows me to create my own models.
How much
Is the mortise switch on most fridges or something?
@@isaiahcortes5142he uses Autodesk Fusion 360
Try using a 3d pen
Quick LIFEHACK for all who tries to recreate something similar. Just use a CUTTING MAT under all objects/tools while you're taking photos. All cutting mats already have some scale (metric or non-metric) so when you'll import images to your CAD you already will have scale _and_ a reference
just to send an pic?
This just blew my mind thank you so much
@@Lani-e8p Dude, how did I not think of this? Its simple, yet genius. Thanks man!
I’ve always used a small ruler but the cutting mat is a genius idea to use the grid for alignment / de-skewing
No clue how I never thought of this, thank you 🙏
6:17 *'for the first time in my life it was an inch too big'* 💀
quick tip... in fusion, left click on the canvas image in the browser and select calibrate... no calculations needed :)
Ah perfect 🤩 Any way to do less math is always a win!! Thanks for watching!!
I had got the Bambu Lab A1 with the AMS Lite. I had an Enders and it is completely night and day. It is so nice not having to mess with leveling the bed. I have not had a single issue. Great video!
I just got an A1 and am in LOVE. I might steal this design and adapt it for my printer 🤭
Nice video of an outstanding build! I felt your pain when the cabinet didn't fit under the desk, but I laughed out loud when you tried to fit it the second time!
And measuring with a blindfold on? 🤣
Bambulab does not recommend that the printer be boxed, because the electronics may overheat due to insufficient ventilation.
The ventilation fan will keep it cool enough
The fan should give plenty of circulation/ventilation inside and the printer will only be used for our quick prototype prints so will stay relatively normal temperatures. Thanks for watching 😀
@@playconveyorhow is it ventilated if you have sealed it up? All you are doing is reducing the pressure in the cabinet. For ventilation you need an air intake
Did you watch the video@@MarkDeSouza78
@@MarkDeSouza78 it's not vacuum sealed, negative air pressure will pull air in through whatever gaps there are
loving your old Casio calculator. I have the same model and its still going strong. It was only produced between 1996 and 2000. Mine is soo well used, the numbers have rubbed off!
Now get a small piece of butcher block for a top and you would have room for the AMS lite on top
I did something similar but just an enclosure and the A1 mini. Its right next to my desk and I can print useful stuff or some fun toys!
This is chaotic, love it! 😂
The hard drawer actually looks really nice and functional! Really like the purple color! Iconic! :)
Thanks so much! 🤩
@@playconveyor Also, what would you recommend for a beginner 3d printer? I want to get into that kinda stuff but I want something that won’t break the bank.
The A1 mini is a good place to start I would say.. or the A1 if you need a bigger build volume! 😀
@@playconveyor About how much money would it cost in all? Considering filament, glue, etc.
I was thinking wheels too! Awesome work. I recently got an A1 with AMS and I love it so much. It's basically always printing now, when I'd pretty much only printed a handful of things in the first half of this year! Also got a load of filament in the sale 👀
I'm sure this took ages to make, but it's still worth it. Super fun, engaging and entertaining video! I look forward to the next one!
Ahh thanks Prash! Glad you enjoyed it! The A1 mini has impressed me so much, it just cracks on and prints whatever I throw at it.. Got an A1 in the box waiting to get fired up, excited for that!!
I’m 100% going to take advantage of the sale, but I’m in the fence about whether I should get an a1 mini or a normal a1 (without ams in both cases). Should I save money and get the mini or go for the larger build volume?
If space and budget don’t play a factor, I’d personally always get a bigger build volume just in case you need it one day! 😃 We haven’t unboxed our A1 yet but I’ve heard it’s just as good as the mini!
@@playconveyor thanks for the advice!
Got the A1 mini as my first 3D printer 2 weeks ago, it’s been a joy and pleasure with no issues and fun to learn basic CAD
Highly recommended and thanks for the great video
Ah amazing!! I agree the mini is great, we’ve got X1 carbons but there’s something about the mini that I just love!!
Thanks for watching the vid! 😃
I bought an A1 mini for my first printer for £169 and it is fantastic, it’s even handy to take with you somewhere
That's awesome! I'd like to see you design a setup for the Mini just how you already have done except with some form of noise reduction so I can print wherever and not worry about receiving a noise complaint.
Ah thanks for watching! Good idea, although It is super quiet with the motor noise cancellation already! 😃
Nice project. Inspiring some udeas for me to organize my room
Yes! Health & safety first 💪
Thank you for another very informative and entertaining video from you.
I find your workflow for creating the negatives in Fusion 360 which you showed between 2:41 - 3:02 extremely interesting, especially 2:51 when you "simply" traced the photo + scale reference in Fusion 360.
Could you make a separate video / tutorial about this exact workflow?
Amazing video man. Your shorts are great but this takes it to a new level. Keep the great content coming man 👌🏼👍🏼
Ah thanks for watching!! 😃
Loved how this project turned out! What drawer/cabinet did you use?
Using the p1s for a while, I love it!
Loving the A1 mini
you can squeeze the AMS in there somehow surely? there are some good custom mounts out there if you remove the regular stand. Or strap it to the side now its on wheels. I love the two layer thing for extra storage underneath. (but put some dessicant in the spool areas)
Got to love b&q 😂😂
you can add a bin for the printer poop and also 2 pc fans for better cooling in case this is not enough, great video!
Great upgrade ideas! If I add the AMS lite somehow I’ll have to think of a smart way to incorporate a poop bin! Thanks for watching!! 😁
Can you link the drawer you used? I think a setup just like the one you made would be perfect for me!
I've had my P1S+AMS from the sale for about a week now and I absolutely LOVE the thing! I also really dig your roll storage below the tools, going to steel that.
I just bought a a1 combo and it should come today, the sale is great
Hope you enjoy the new printer!! 💪
I really do enjoy it
This was awesome! Would be great to see more of this "build style" video
I love my A1Mini it’s been really good in my workflow ps you got a new patron 😊
Ah thanks for the support, really appreciate it!!
I like how when the cabinet didn’t fit under the desk by a wide margin he just tried to jam it in again to confirm it was too tall.
This is really cool! Whats the name of the ikea cabinet?
What office drawer is that? Would love to get a rough idea of the dimensions? I want to build something similar
This is a amazing inspiration! Can you share the notebook brand? I’ve been looking for an unlined landscape one
Scott yu Jan Will be proud
Ah I hope so 😃 his drawer was next level though!!
idea for ams lite you can put it outside and then you can use the tube for directing on to your a1 mini
clean setup 💯🔥
Thanks!! 🤩
The measurement with the blindfold on was fucking gold. Holy moly
I want to get into 3d printing. I plan on getting a creality ender 3 v3 se, but I need a form of ventilation because I will have to keep it in my bedroom. What should I do for ventilation?
how are you printing those two-toned printed without wasting filaments?
Absolutely loved how it turned out. I just got inspired by your drawer organizer, especially that under filament storage. Should i make it ???? I am more happy to have that STL. Please send me link. :D
I just got the a1 and it’s way better than my old ender 3 v2 Neo. Now I don’t have the ams light but would love to get it at a later time. Let me know if there is anything I need to know about ams
Any advice on where to get the cabinet? I really like this and would like to build one for my A1 Mini
Yes, where is the cabinet from?
Looks like a P1S or your X1C would fit in the bottom as well, if you were concerned about fumes why not use an enclosed printer as well as the filtration?
That's amasing, but you could put a Plade on top of the Box so you can use it as a Table.
Thanks 🤩
Can you do a review of the Creality K1 K1C or K1 Max? I’ve seen one of the 3 in your workshop in a video
the a1 mini is currently on sale for £169.99 on their site. If you bought it recently I think they can give you a coupon for the difference.
I just ordered one and im super excited to start bc my old printer had so many problems that i just gave up
I’m surprised you couldn’t fit a p1p or p1s the space looked pretty big
Speaking of scott yu Jan He made a stand by dock for his iphone You should definitely try that with the a1 mini
hey could i ask which Mac mini are you running? the latest M2 ?
I'm going to be buying the Bambu Lab A1 + AMS Lite when I get a chance
Can’t quite tell but I think you may of got this from B&Q. Do you happen to know if which product the enclosure is? I’d absolutely love to replicate this. Or atleast the dimension of the unit 😊
Is the a good printer for a complete beginner?
The A1 mini would be an amazing first 3D printer.. I wish they were this good when I first started 😅
The a1 mini is a POWERHOUSE even if it is a small printer, it can have the ability to print multicolor too! Any printer from bambu is a great one and are basically idiot proof, easy to use, the mini is cheap and reliable
Bambu printers are the iPhone of the printing world. They just work.
I started with the ender 3, did I make a mistake?
How ur answering ur questions now? @@Faiz_504
How do you clean your printing bed
what's your filament? It's beautiful
I purchased the A1 mini and also plan to have in my office. Is the ventilation necessary for PLA, PETG and TPU?
Thanks for the vid Im just about to embark on redesinging my workshop space so this has been really helpful i have the A1 min with ams loved it so much that i pickup an A1 in the sale i love them both
Why not use GridFinity system for the drawer? Is there a reason you've designed everything from scratch?
Gridfinity is amazing, but I love the designing process and making something from scratch, and just always wanted to have a go at designing some custom slots! Thanks for watching! 😃
what is the stl for the allan key handles?
How did u wire the fan?
Which is better the A1 or the ankermake m5c?
Where did you hang the ams light?
What's the material used for the box ?
Do u know when the sale ends? Thanks and love ur vids x
5th July I believe!! Thanks so much for watching 😃
Well it’s mid August now and the sale is still on.
What modeling software do you use to create your models
Hi, I’m about to make use of the bambu sale and was given the impression from their faqs that you couldn’t have the a1 in an enclosure- which forces me to the P1. Is your understanding different? I can’t have a printer not enclosed, similar ocd issues! 😂 and due to upgrade from my 2016 qidi!
Which software do you use to 3d design
Amazing production values in this one dude lol
Subscribed.
I love the way that came out. Taking advantage of the bambu sale myself to add a second bambu printer to the arsenal. The a1 mini is an excellent little printer.
Ah thanks for watching!! The A1 mini is such a little beast.. all of the Bambu quality in a tiny printer, what’s not to like!
What Modeling Programs do you use?
Bambu studio
Im gonna grab the Bambu lab A1 I’ve heard it’s good and has a bigger build space
We’ve just got one too, can’t wait to try it out 😃
What program are you using to design the objects?
I want to start and I don't have much idea.
Loved the video but I had a question, is the Bambu lab mini the best for starters or would you recommend a different one for starters. Also you deserve way more subs/viewers😁
Thanks so much! We’ve tried a lot of ‘beginner’ printers and the A1 mini is easily our favourite. You get all the Bambu quality for less than £170, which is crazy! So long as the build volume is big enough for you, if not the A1 is the next size up but still has all the features!
@@playconveyor Ok, thanks!
need cad file for printing. Its so cool and well organised
What Printer Table Do You Use?
A1 Mini
A2 Mini
A3 Mini
A4 Mini
A1 Mega
A2 Mega
Magic Full Filler A1
Magic Full Filler A327
A327 Mini
Customable A1
B1 Mini
Might try this but with a p1s a bookshelf thing like from ceiling to floor so not visible
Why not just add more spools on the side like the first one so you can do the multicolour printing? You could also add a glass top to it so you can still see the tools but have a surface to use
Love the idea of glass on the top to display the tools! 😃
@@playconveyoryou won’t respond but please do here’s an idea can you please do a free trial I wanna use your models but don’t have the money to pay for your patreon is there any way you could do a free trial of some sort? Please consider this I really like the models you made.
could have choped off the bottom move the bottom plat a few intiches up since the a1 is small
Instead of doing complicated math to size your canvas, you can calibrate the canvas and pick two points to add a length in. It’ll then calibrate the size for you
This is great, and I definitely wish I knew it at the time 😂
hi play conveyor do you need thumbnail designer at cheap rates?
How big is the cupboard?
thanks mate
Thanks for watching! 😃
4:58 could you link me this filament? its so hot
Does anyone know the name of the song he used in the last clip?
6:14 hahahahahahahah love that
What is that screwdriver?
Filament doorknobs for the drawers
I just got the A1 mini!
very nice,
Q: how much do these filament smell__? i never had a 3d printer.
It looks like a fridge lol
you should make the print button press the ACTUAL print buton
6:22 You measured the top of the table, rather than the bottom. So you didn't account for the thickness of the table. My guess is you took half an inch off thinking "That should give me ½ of clearance."
Can anyone recommend any 3d printers that have an big sized build volume and is quiet and fast ? 😅
Why computer are you using like Mac or desttop
You need to look into gridfinity.
Why not use photogrametry to do that?
This is my first time seeing your face in a video
