This painting seems to describe God and the 4 Classical Elements : at his left, the material ones, Earth emerging from the ground, Water, with blue veil ; and at his right, the celestial ones, Air, protecting from the sun, and Fire, with his head touching it. (It's a guess, i don't know if this is valid. Thank you for your ambient work who accompanied me so many times !) (Edit : I didn't know, it's a fresco from Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni (1475-1564) "The Creation of the Sun and Moon", so, yeah, it's alchemical ^^)
