A reoccurring theme of your videos I find especially touching was the relationship you had with your dad. I'm glad you still have a connection with him through opal cutting that continues to this day.

Absolutely fantastic stone :D Side note, I have been infected with opal fever, and it's entirely your fault (thank you thank you). I found your channel like two months ago. Since then I have watched countless hours, bought a 15 carat piece of Coober Pedy rough, and started slowly rubbing it up by hand on sandpaper on my table (it's shaping up beautifully!). I have a parcel of LR beginner's rough on the way, AND I caved and ordered a 6" slanted cabbing machine and various needful other things. Also, considering how often I am outbid on some of the opal parcels I try to get my hands on (and how much many of them ultimately sell for), your instruction has given me a very good eye ;)

We could see from the beginning that this was a good stone with a lot of length that was clearly supported by the potch. So this could be worn as a cuff bracelet or a collar necklace. I cringed when you grind the point off the top. Then I couldn't think of a good use for it and you definitely made right choice within a split second. At 09:11 when you do the final reveal, I gasped. Oh my F**** christ, that is gorgeous. You nailed it. At $25K that would be a steal. You should figure in your artistic value to the price. Your finished stones, definitely this one, are worth much more than just the going rate for size, color, and pattern. You made a real piece of art that deserves way more than the value of the material you used.

    Wow...What a phenomenal stone! 😍 I love it!
Your "happy dance" segments always crack me up! 😂 I also think it's very sweet when you share memories of your dad with us. That's what gives your videos a really personal touch. 🤗

Congrats on another gorgeous stone. Great choice to leave it large, it turned out to be one of the nicest ones I've seen you cut. Beautiful !

IMO it is worth more than 25k. Thanks for sharing shots of your Dad. He looked like a legit Old School strong and tough man. Great skills from what you share with us.
