      Even just a Preview/Planning mode in general, where you can make Roads, Zones, Trees, Buildings, etc. and see what it'd look like when fully level'd up and trees grown up. So you can plan with long term vision in mind.

      Agreed. Not saying you need a deep playthrough like some of your other builds. Use this town as more of a "preview" look at the game, and maybe incorporate some basic tutorials as a beginner's guide. Once again, nothing deep like a proper tutorial, but maybe showing off some tools and how to use them (like you did while building the highway).

    The radio mast on the hill near the university makes sense, as universities often have a art or other kind of influence study. Just like my university they have their own radio channel that is being proadcasted in the campus and on and off on the city wide radio channels.

    Bit odd to see a road turning red because traffic is too dense, but you can only see 2 cars driving there.

      Its because he is looking at traffic flow as apposed to traffic volume.

    Oh boy, IRL Planner in me getting the Highway OCD eye twitch with that motorway on the waterfront severing the City Centre plus another one running through what looks like the downtown?

    I am one of the 5! Yes, continue, because there is always adding more parks, refining it, going closer in...and it would be fun to see villages on the outskirts. Great video and city!!

    That intersection at roughly 9:00, the town I live in his an intersection like that on our main drag through town. It supports a lot of warehouse truck traffic and handles it fairly decently.

    I really hope there’ll be some first person mode or just a close zoom feature, I really like to follow cars or citizens to see my city from the ground, makes me happy to see everything working and looking good.
    Also I noticed the graphics really remind me of transport fever 2, it looks like a whole different game completely.

    Two dollars twenty, since you have played the game for a while now do you think there will be a need for custom assets and mods or do you feel like the vanilla game is great on its own? Asking this since I play on console and do not have access to mods and assets.

    • @twodollarstwenty
      @twodollarstwenty  ปีที่แล้ว

      Less so than in csl1 but I’m definitely going to dive into custom assets. I think there will be some amazing creations made by the community especially now that the game is more detailed

    The trees have a lumber value so it makes sense that they're babies. I really like it. For detailers that don't want to wait, I think they should add a transplant option. OMG What if you could build a nursery near the start of the game that lets you build fully grown trees in your city by moving them from a forest on your map?

    • @StarbucksCoffey5280
      @StarbucksCoffey5280 ปีที่แล้ว

      and then we could have tree transplant trucks moving around the map,

    I don't know if this has been already answered or is something obvious but it really grinds my gears. Is there an option in the game to turn off those white washed out marks inside the roads? It can be clearly seen that the tarmac inside of the lane is lighter than on the outside and looks odd. Thanks!
