You should try the trigger on a Springfield XDM Elite. That META (match enhanced trigger assembly) breaks at 4.5 lbs. I would love to shoot a Canik though. They appear to be well made.
I have the MC9. Shoots great with a very nice trigger. The reset is incredible. My rear sight screw did come loose in the first 200 rounds. The tool kit was rather handy at that moment. I had some failures to go into battery and some sticking magazine issues but I was able to fix both myself without having to send it back. Another plus is that all Canik mags will fit and function.
Yeah they make them pretty good!!! The marketing and adding the tools, extra back straps, holsters and solid cases is really smart… I only have one the new canik TTI and I love it!
I have a mc9 I have a 43x. The canik is the better pistol and the better buy. I like my 43x and carry that more often but the canik is a dam fine pistol. And I have owned an other canik a tp9sf I have no issues with it either of them both 100 percent.
Do the research. I have Canik pistols I like a lot, but this particular model has had numerous problems with not functioning correctly. There are better choices including some of Canik s other models. The MC9 definitely has unreliability issues. All the extras are not going to make up for that.
Really like my TP9SF Elite. Chunky frame, but very good trigger. Just wish more companies made holsters for it. But, no Canik will convince me to give up my S&W Shield Plus 2.9 for edc.
The Canik MC9 shown in the video appears to be an updated copy of the Walther PPS. These Caniks seem to be changed just enough to keep the Walther lawyers at bay. I still would love to see an updated version of the PPS. Eventually Walther will have to do something or Canik will put Walther out of business.
I carry that gun everyday but I would say get rid of the cleaning supplies. The mag loader the holster because it did. It doesn't hold the gun very tight and also get rid of the plastic case. Put it in a cardboard box with the accessories that actually mean something and charge $50 to $75 less or give me an extra 15 round magazine. All that other stuff that it comes with is not necessary and most people are not going to use it cuz they already have their own equipment
GLOCK 19 GEN 2.35 YRS,STILL THE BEST. BEST FACTORY SUPPORT.ONLY GUN COMPANY TO SPONSOR THEIR OWN GUN CLUB AND MATCHES. 10,000 CHICAGO GANGSTERS CAN'T BE WRONG
I have several guns that cost more money but my caniks shoot just as good or better than the others. Reliability is outstanding. Cannot say enough about the canik pistols. For the money an what you get is very well worth it without going broke
The toy wrench thing is cool. This pistol really needs to come with night sights. People don't buy subcompacts as range toys. They are defensive tools only.
I don't know about the MC9 but I bought a TP9SF 3 years ago and it's been a great gun. Eats any kind of 9mm I've ever put in it, except some crappy reloads that were out of spec.
@@Benzzo3000 I've shot a lot of 115 gr through mine and it always cycles fine. Guess I was lucky. I think you can get a less stiff recoil spring for them which will let it cycle anything.
@@markthe2nd741 Already got the recoil spring. Didn't help. The main problem I'm having is the not going back into battery issue that a lot of people are having. I think it's us early adopters of the firearm that are having the most problems. Maybe they have ironed out these issues since I got mine
@@Benzzo3000 I wasn't aware of that. Mine is a little over 3 years old and it's always functioned perfectly. I guess you could trade it in for a newer one or just keep using the heavier bullets. Good luck with whatever you decide.
@@markthe2nd741 Well known issue for the pre production models that came out after Shot Show of that year. Some people got lucky and had no problems but the out of battery issue is a MAJOR problem well known by Canik because of all the feedback from us early people. I'll just continue with the heavy grain +p.
When laying the gun on the counter do not aim it at Maggie. I saw you checked and cleared but you still never let the barrel end aim at some one. I really enjoy the conversations you two have.
I have about every brand of poly pistols there is lol under a grand for edc I like the sig p365 macro and Glock 43x Taurus gx4 for a micro smooth shooting for a micro. Canik Walther the slides are to blocky for me as a edc other then that there a good gun I had bad luck with my hellcat pro got a lemon so other then that I really liked it but would never carry the one I got don't trust it.

Was going to say that I love Maggie, but really, I’ve had a crush on her since the first episode she was in. Guess the word adore would be more appropriate, only because the Lord says I can’t covet.
I have been super impressed with Canik.
Canik's are amazing. Best out of the box trigger for non-high-end gun.

They also have a great trigger

Maggie’s pick. Fun stuff
Not bad . But I'm in a revolver stage now . Old school .

I've had 3 caniks the latest to9sf elite which comes with the conpition trigger
Canik with their 90 degree flat trigger installed is perfect.
They have phenomenal triggers and reset. I have the TP9 SF Elite, and it rocks!

Canik seems to be a solid choice for edc. Good trigger is a must. As far as the gimmicks... I'm not impressed.
When you don’t have any new Canik TTI’s you push the Canik METE 🤣🤣🤣
Maggie is awesome! She just seems like she is so fun to talk with! Great people! I wish we could get Caniks in CA :(

Did you really put that pistol on the counter with the muzzle pointed directly at Maggie?

Can you get with left hand holster?
Just wish that Canik still offered their clone of the CZ75 B.
Just want to say hello and ask how are you doing man, Hope better..? And your family... 😎
Im buying a Canik now!! 🙏🏼
Getting a lil to happy over a cheap Canik
I didn't get the little gun to hold my tools. ow I feel gyped.

The Taurus gx4 carry is the best gun in the compact space carry space
Clickbait: they cover one gun but never say gun dealers actual buy/carry it.
This is total bull crap 💩
