Over time is the issue with this pan, according to reviews. The coating flakes off in a short time or if someone is negligent and cooks above 5 or so on the dial. People don't realize that's somewhere in the 500-600 degree range and max is over 1000° F, at least on my stovetop burners with a temp gun.
Also pretty sure the coating on this, and even hexclad or hardened t-fal contain some fluoridated variant of ptfe.
It shouldn't be that difficult to find a hard coating which is also non-toxic.

It looks like a good pan. But it does say on there website that it is a whitford/ppg coating. Witford coatings are probably the most popular nonstick coatings used by most pan makers. It is a cast iron base non seasoned and coated with just another nonstick coating that will flake. Look up plastechcoatings and see the recommendations for use temp and how long they will last.
To me they are just making it sound more important than they are. Hot wheels cars use to be “cast iron” too. Just another pan with a coating. Same coating on nuwave pans.
On a side note though, good videos on your channel. I will subscribe.

Impressive, but to me the real test for an egg is when you fry it. Can you slide an over-easy egg on that pan?

The induction coil on this unit looks to be very small, maybe 4-5 inches? I would suggest a better induction unit ;)

It is very small and affordable - I was reviewing that product too. Thanks for watching.

No offense but since cast iron is naturally nonstick with use I don't see the sense in putting an inherently inferior chemical nonstick coating on it.
