Soooo much better, and their infotainment is my favorite right now... it's the only one that's feature rich and makes sense, everything is exactly where you expect it 🍻
@ I work for a Hyundai dealer part time, and I drove a 2025 Limited about 3.5 hours in August. The eye tracking device on top of the steering column was maddening. It would yell at me just for looking away to change the radio or climate controls. What makes zero sense is that the car has no more autonomous driving capabilities than the 2024, which didn’t have the eye tracker.
@WatchJRGo LMAO. I love my Pontiac Vibe with It's Toyota 1.8 liter engine. I get 35 mpg. It's not a hybrid though. Sure be nice to have a hybrid with modern tech.
Nice. I had a 2021 rav4 xse (so, hybrid) and I got 45mpg (sometimes better) all day every day- (as long as it wasn't freezing out with the engine running more) in it with absolutely no change to my aggressive driving style. I owned it for 1 year and 14k miles.
Just bought the 2025 Limited Hybrid. Getting high 30s mpg, tech is amazing, tons of space, giant moon/sunroof, negotiated an amazing price. Looked at both RAV and CRV, neither could compete with the options at the price. Both are long in the tooth, too. 0-60 can't compete with my Audi, but flies for a compact SUV. So far, very happy and very impressed!
I have a 2023 Tucson Limited FWD with the 2.5 engine. Drove from Florida to South Georgia Thanksgiving. Set the cruise on 70 mph and averaged 36 MPG for the trip. Even the ICE ones are pretty economical if you don't push them too hard.
We were consistently getting mid 35 in our 2024 but we live in the Northeast and when the cold weather came in, it’s dropped substantially to about 27, still pretty good for a vehicle of this size, but looking forward to winter ending lol
We had a 2023 Tucson non hybrid for an extended roadtrip throughout the southwest. Got around 30ish mpg and it safed our little asses twice. The one time I got distracted and the car self turned through a long bend on I40. Next I almost crashed into the end of a traffic jam on highway 1. The car hit the break instantly and beeped the crap out of me. What a safe! My girlfriend shouts out every Tucson since. We both fell in love with that little suv ❤️
You completely neglected to show the front seat adjustments! If the driver AND the front seat passenger aren't comfortable, then all the other features are meaningless. When I'm looking at a new car purchase, both front seats must have height and lumbar adjustments.
Will never buy a Hyundai/Kia until the data proves they can build a quality engine that do not get trashed before 100k miles. You can have a gorgeous interior and pack it full of features, but the "value" disappears when you have to scrap it because engine replacements cost more than the car in a few years. My old Saab 9000 Aero 2.3T which is 30 years old gets 34 MPG (usa) average. 530 miles per tank. I do about 800 miles a week and the reason i keep using it as the main daily driver is due to the great fuel mileage. And the 300+ BHP which is fun when you need it.
Hyundai and Kia are very impressive. Remember, just a few years ago they were disposable vehicles with maybe a 3 year lifespan. Probably the most improved auto brand on the road and with the best warranty. We bought a new 2019 Kia Niro PHEV as we could not get a full electric Kona or Niro in our area. Plus, if we needed service on the electric it would be shipped 200 plus miles to a dealer set up for the electric models. So, PHEV. Man, I am sold on the Kia. 40,000 miles of ZERO repairs and only 1 recall for a overrated fuse. Dealership has been amazing as well. Thanks for the review.. Maybe my next selection from the Kia/Hyundai line.
The warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on...coming from someone who owned a Hyundai for 5 years and couldn't get Hyundai to troubleshoot recurring warning lights for a potential electrical problem with only 30,000 miles. "normal" they said. If the CEL isn't on, they won't entertain looking at it.
I have run a 2017 1.7 diesel sport Tucson from new in the UK - it has NEVER got less than 38 mpg [imperial] including towing a caravan !!! done 40'000 miles and never missed a beat !!!
