I've been searching online to find who is responsible to pay for the DBS check. I have no convictions and the recruitment agency have asked for DBS check but want to charge me £25 for it. I don't work in a sector that requires a DBS check and a basic check costs £18, i can't find any information anywhere if i am obliged to pay this to secure work or if the agency has a right to charge me for this check.
I’m worried as I was with the wrong crowd 6 years ago originally got charged for posession of a shotgun . When it got to crown court the charge was dropped against me and I was convicted of affray instead . Will an enhanced dbs show the shotgun charge 6 years later even tho it was dropped ?
@@iBOXRIVER yes mate came back last week . It only showed my convictions and prison length . Didn’t show chargers I was arrested for but not charged . Thankfully lol

Yes but will not effect ur job due to being dropped u wasn’t found guilty of it so your fine just shows that something happened but was not found guilty

Stage 4 takes the longest expect 2 months minimum, stage 5 takes 2 - 3 weeks

It can only come up on enhanced dbs checks if police consider it relevant to what u applied for
