it is insane how natural pete is in these scenarios. i could not even imagine being able to handle myself with such rizz
i can do it when i am in the right mood, but only for a limited amount of time as it costs me insane amounts of energy...for him its just his defalut setting it seems
Yea he’s a goat fr. He can walk into any situation and brighten the mood and get everyone laughing. I could never top that with such consistency.
If ur not a sus weirdo, most anyone can do this. Because this is a SKILL. If you take a job where you HAVE to engage and talk to interesting ppl you will learn it without even trying, over time
Man the whiplash from that second bar to the end of the video, had my smile wiped from my face quick. Sorry that happened to you Pete.
what a sunday, the whole crew uploaded today
Exactly what I was thinking😂
What riches!
That ending was bittersweet. Sorry Pete.
The second bar was so amazing! Also seeing Pete blending in with people so easily is wholesome and very inspiring.
ikr, I'm deffinitly visiting that spot on my next trip
I know everyone is talking abt the bar that didnt let pete in bc of his camera but i rly loved the energy in the second bar and it is amazing how pete really picks everyone up! Proud to have Pete represent us Americans as a sweetie pie haha. He always reminds me of a Golden retriever, esp w how energetic he is. Thank you Pete, for always doing these fun things! Also, the ironmouse fan was so unexpected but such a delight! I forget how big ironmouse rly is :0
Imagine him being your tour guide, he’d make a great tour guide
Pete is such a cool dude. He just brings happiness everywhere he goes
I would've been a bit scared with folks saying no streaming but Pete handled it very well! Like he said, it is what it is. Unfortunately a small set of foreigners have made streaming look bad so it's understandable. Great video as always Pete!!
It's not like it's an excuse to just treat every streamer/youtuber with disrespect either... he was just being a d**k about it and that's just how it is, you're not always gonna meet cool people out there, the truth about any country in the world.
The editing is getting better. I like having Pete's personality shine without the additional edits.
It's fun seeing Pete try to be the lowest kanpai cup for courtesy every time
I can totally understand the no streamer thing, especially in certain scenarios where the staff wants to control the vibe. Always sucks for us on our end though. I quite enjoy these little windows into Japan.
I understand it but rude way to go about it no matter who you are.
Fun video, intresting to see how much some people love to be apart of stream and how others will tell you to F@@K off.
Yeah, I hear ya. TH-cam troublemakers and Kick streamers made the impression to the Japanese citizens that they are profiting from being a nuisance and causing others grief and breaking the quiet peace of Japan.
Edit: Pete, I am happy you handled the rejections and not taking them personally nor offence. I don't blame them for probably having idea of foreigners disrespecting Japan and news of stupid TH-camrs/Kick streamers. Regardless, you are part of Japan accustomed to their ways, so be proud and happy living in the country. ❤
That's the annoying part of Japan though. You can live there for 40 years, speak the language better than the locals themselves, know the lands history better. Start and operate a business there with the Japanese values in mind, and after all that you're still a gaijin. They'll never accept you as part of their community no matter what you do, no matter how herculean a task you cannot gain that favor. It's sad.
@@taylon5200 I acknowledge what you are saying. It's true. It's the xenophobia that exists so it can't be helped nor can't be changed unless times has changed and old generation passed away and their 1990s ways expired.
And I don't know when and how those people would accept the foreigners in the future. I totally get what you are saying.
Edit: keep in mind that every country has their ways and cultures unlike America's. So, of course, the atmosphere and the experience would be vastly different.
That’s really cool and probably the closest I’ll get to my dream of visiting Japan.. I’ve been fascinated by their country and have great respect for their culture and innovation. Thanks man, I love the hell out of these, some great spots
that bar atmosphere was one of the best!!!!!
I do understand bar owners not wanting streamers; a lot of their customers might not like the idea of their evenings activities (and potential in their mind, conversations) shared with the world, but that guy at the end didn't need to be quite to rude about it.
As someone who lives with social anxiety and language anxiety, this is unbelievable and I’m filled with envy and awe. In my head, I speak with this level of confidence. In reality, I always use the wrong language and use either Japanese or Korean in the opposite country. 😬😬😬
I mean this with no disrespect but Pete's Japanese is absolutely terrible but he's a charming guy who's doing his best. I know it probably doesn't help you but Japanese and Koreans don't look down on language learners, I mean you can see it in the video! Well, except for the "fuck youtubers" guy lol.
That girl next to Pete was having the best night. She definitely had fun.
I'm curious about how much she remebers that night :P sent the youtube link to both of the girls xD
Watching the shenanigans at itsumono bar live was super fun, seriously one of the coolest and most friendly bars I've seen you in
"F youtubers" thrown at the back of a person who is leaving is quite a Japanese way to do it ngl
The Johny Somali effect.
No? It's the coward's way to do it. How about he say that to Pete's face instead of behind his back? Are you saying the Japanese are cowards? Why should the cowardice of a single person reflect the entire country? Are you stupid?
I’m so happy you’ve gotten into the groove of your channel, because your night out at bars gives the strongest pang of nostalgia for me ! I miss those nights in Tokyo 🥲! It’s really hard not to smile along, and the contagious energy you bring makes it feel as though we are in the bar too! Please never change😂 Kanpai!🍻✨🎉
Oh Pete, I love these videos. Reminds me of my days in Osaka as an ALT, having a blast jumping from random bar to bar meeting fantastic locals, who were always so welcoming. Good times!
Mad props to the chatter who rizzed up a girl at a bar he wasn’t even at and then go to pick her up.
That was me.
Really or are you trolling? What happened after you picked her up then?
if it was you we need the deets brotha
Pete is amazing at just going into a bar and chatting up with everyone. Making everyone included. I wish I had that skillset tbh.
I'm having a shitty night and am less than 2 minutes in and already feeling the corners of my mouth turning upward. That might be because of the bottle of wine I've already drunk, but I'd like to think it was Pete's very Japanese purchasing of that umbrella.
thank you for the video, i'm trying to learn some japanese and the lack of subs was actually great for me, i think i understood most of what you guys were saying
I'm literally sitting here laughing and clapping a long like a happy little antisocial seal. This is literally becoming my social life battery charger. xD Love this so much!
someone once said "if youre at a bar at 8pm, you're not with friends, you're with the other lonely people"...then that person drunk 3 highballs and said "my shout !!!!"
Oh wow, thanks for the captions! What a step up in content! I tip my hat to you.
I wonder the impact that you have on these amazing bars with your streams, I can only imagine the people that go visit (or don't go visit) these bars because of the experience that you share with us. I've never been to Japan yet, but i'd love to visit this bars, it's such a nice vibe. Thank you for bringing this amazing hidden gems to light ❤❤
Subscribed just because how you maturely handled that last bar.
I am in awe of your sheer charisma - you had such an energy going in both of those bars!
Wow!! You're so charismatic and brought joy to so many people! That was awesome to watch!!! 🧡
Until the end I guess.. 😢
this is so dope, i was literally just like "hmm it's been a while since i've seen a Pete IRL stream" and lo and behold A BRAND NEW ONE!
Pete your Japanese accent is actually hilarious and always makes me smile. Your a legend my friend, and I can’t believe you 46 and still bar hopping so good for you brother!
Brother, I’m 40 (not that 40 is much better haha)
@@PremierTwo😂😂😂😂💀
@@PremierTwowhat are you talking about, I thought you were 18?! Why're you lying about your age Pete? No 40 year old can have such a beautiful hair!! 🤨
Idk you looked like 16 to me @@PremierTwo
Pete, everytime I watch one of these videos it makes want to go out and drink with the boys
Un saludote desde México, SALUD!
Just started watching the video. I always enjoy your videos and love seeing japan.
I’m disappointed that I missed this stream but even more disappointed that the last bar missed out on an opportunity to meet such a great guy.
Hey P, really am enjoying the content lately. really appreciate you man! ❤️✌️
S Tier thumbnail. Love you Peter
The edits are on point.
The double whammy at the end ;-; and after the night was going so well!!!!
dude, the edits on this one 😂 lol
Great video Pete! You always find entertainment wherever you go, even though the ending on this one was bittersweet.
I remember this stream. The bar when everyone was happy to drink, laugh, and chat is the best kind of place.
OH I remember seeing this stream. That 2nd bar was kicking ass in the music dept and sent me on a youtube hole of anime music for a night. Got to find some great songs I haven't heard in years.
Pete absolutely should have gotten the girl at the second bars number, she was super cool!
Thanks for the video Pete, and thanks for always making us and the ones you hang with feel welcome no matter where you are.
great edit of a great night till the unfortunate events lol
pete coming in with the lvl 5000 max stat charisma . awesome vlog!
This is the best kind of content, I love these videos so much!
Man I wish our legislators did something about the KICK sized bull running rampant and ruining shit for everyone else, and that's just the least of their offenses apparently lmao. Sorry Pete
Loved the vibes at the second bar :D And you don't look a day over 35 my guy, they must've been joking
I was just in Tokyo for 2 weeks, spent some time in Koenji and whenever I told locals that I visited Koenji they were always shocked they said "that's a locals place! not many tourists know about it!" they were always so happy foreigners thought it was cool.
This is just a feels good vid. I like how Pete can handle different kind of situation.
Kinda wish there was subtitles during convos, great vid nonetheless :)
but there are?
@@cinaralin I suppose what I was trying to say is that subtitles are inconsistent.
@@vandajay oh, can't say i noticed but that would make a lot more sense, you could take it as an opportunity to practice japanese though
not trying to be condescending (i'm mediocre at best myself) but I genuinely believe this type of conversations are perfect practice material
Awesome video pyotor, thank you for this video.
I love these so much.
Ew the guy who said ‘f@@k TH-cam’ was the rudest barman, I’d never go there now
Still remember this stream, was such a great night out in Koenji even with the double wammy no streaming.
really looking forward to check out Koenji myself.
The diablo gold drop noises made my brain tingle. In a good way
Can we add links to the full vod in the description. Please? :(
It was quite some time ago, so not sure if it's available anymore
Owning a bar in japan must be crazy. You could never run a bar that’s the size of a bedroom here in the states but it makes for a cozy environment that the regulars probably appreciate.
The editor needs to study Japanese.. or perhaps I'm too much of a weeb. The bar's name is likely "Itsumono Bar" , not "It's Mono Bar" lol. Sorry for nitpicking.. that aside, lovely edits, such as the rain dropping on Pete's shoulder. Nice vlog!
Wow, this was the best video this year!
Lived in Japan 28 years…my early years Nakano..Koenji…true story…I’ve never bought an umbrella in my life!! …53 I’m still young!!
always good to see a wild pete out in about
hey thank you pete, you are helping me out of a tough time
I love these streams but I totally understand why some people wouldn't like to be on camera with thousands of people watching while trying to relax after long day of work.
I aspire to be as social and outgoing as this he just walks in and makes instant friends with them.....HOW! lol
I live in Koenji and the experience Pete got there is so different from mine lol Pete's Rizz is unreal.
Hey I just moved to Ogikubo so I'm not far away from this area! So thanks for some recommendations and the entertainment o7. Would love to bump into you sometime.
feels bad man in the end, loved the experience while it lasted
New pete emote at 24:57
This reminds me of that guy from Scream 4 that would stream everything and everyone got mad at him 😂
Pete Sensei, teach us common mortals the ways of the rizz 🙏
I was more worried after reading the title than I had to be :D
I can't blame that guy for what Japan had to deal with bc of YTers
So it looks like you and Tokyo survived that typhoon!
its so funny how famously reserved japanese people open up when you string 10 coherent sentences together in japanese at the local watering hole
This seems to have come from a VOD that I haven't seen yet. damn
Edit: Nevermind, I did watch this live, just late to the party.
Wassup Pete, I saw your bros Connor and Ludwig today in Lawndale CA at the Streamer Games
This was awesome
That area has changed a lot in the last 5 years. Used to be my 2nd fav place next to Harmonica in Kichijoji.... a little too much there. 4 years sober, but still loving life in Tokyo.
...and that chat takeover ....lordy lordy, playing with fire. Happy to see brave gaijin-souls live streaming again (although i'm not a fan of it), and making positive connections.
Thank you for bringing us along for another legendary adventure Pete~
I only caught a bit live but now I know the vibes were immaculate all night!
Thank you for all your hard work, Please keep it up m(_ _)m
I hope your having a lovely day, Have a wonderful week, Be safe and Take care out there wherever you are (^=W=^)~❤
And you too fellow viewer~
Good one. Sorry you got rejected, but that’s the name of the game for LS in some businesses. Keep up the great work!
we went from the highest of highs to the lower of lows we love you Pete. thanks for taking us on another adventure
Hey, it's my neighborhood!
damn... the vibes sure got trashed by the end of it...
The sushi restaurant thing is fine... it's not like they made an incredibly unreasonable request or anything, but that other guy was just straight up a villain that instantly made my poor little happy smile go away.
I love you petter
Pete is the Rizzler
Wonder what would make more money; streaming and TH-cam videos, or packaging up those amazing social skills and selling courses to people. 😏
Can’t wait till you start posting about Chris’s bar😊❤
bruh there's a wool at 28mins i think
yoooo irl stream vid again letsgoo
huh?? I've already seen this one, did he post it somewhere else or something? I knew I recognised when the dude came in and everyone said he was a twitch sniper
groin swamp 2025
I live in Hong Kong and they Highball in a can it was rather good it made me tipsy cos i didnt eat anything.
always amazes me how Pete handles these valid but unnecessarily rude reactions to 'youtubers'
I always say aaarigatoooo.... goza iiimaassssss for everything. I anunciate every syllabul and jokingly make it a short song. Im trying to be different for no reason
