Female American Robin building her nest (29/4/24)

Second day video cam i caught/ April 29, 2024
Female American Robin building her nest from the inside out, pressing dead grass and twigs into a cup shape using the wrist of one wing.
Nest building starts in March and will take around 4 days. But this is just the first round of the year. Robins generally have 2 or 3 broods in a year and will build a fresh nest for each one. So nesting can go on into early July.
