The streak-eared bulbul is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is found from Thailand and northern and central Malay Peninsula to southern Indochina. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. The streak-eared bulbul was originally described in the genus Criniger.
The chicks left the eggs today this morning. Parents flew to find food for them. When they arrived at the nest they saw ants beginning to bite their babies. Both parents helped to pull ants out of the nest. They take a long time to peck until the ants are gone. Then the parents went out to find more food to feed their babies.

감동입니다.
새끼 두마리 중 한 마리는 상태가 조금 좋지안은것 같아 가슴 졸이면서 봤네요.
어미가 다시 품어 줄 때 작년에 돌아가신 구순 노모 생각에 눈물이 났습니다.
아무쪼록 다 자랄 때 까지 별탈없이 자라 훨훨 잘 날기를 빌면서 미물들의 자식사랑에 경외감을 느낍니다.
몇년전 17살 애견이 마루에서 투병생활중 의사도 가망없다~오늘내일 하는데,어느날 어디에서 들어왔는지 아마도 환기통이라 ~개미떼가 무섭게 쌔까맣게 달려들어서 깜짝 놀라고 다 뜯어내느라 헉헉~죽음의 냄새를 맡는 개미떼에 이렇게 무서운게 자연이구나 ~

Сердце сжималось, когда бедные,голенькие и ещё слепые птенцы корчились от адских мучений.Какие умные эти крошечные птички,как они защищали свое потомство,закрывали и грели их своими телами.

Those ants are just going to keep on coming though😔🤦🏿... Would be nice if whoever recorded it could move the nest but, unfortunately; that would scare the parents away..guess we'll just have to let nature do it's thing..soo sad😞💔.
@@dmannnnnnn6934 That's right plus they need extra protein anyway. Those babies eat alot at that stage.every 30 min or so. I hated when they put a nest in my wreath. Maybe one reason was I don't know if the other shoved the one baby out or what but I stepped on it and it died.There were 2 left after that . The parents were always flying back and forth . They never flew in the house but I couldn't wait until they moved to a bigger nest .
I was feeling so much stress watching the first half of this. Poor babies. Thankfully the parents came back when they did and were able to get the ants to retreat. Hoping the babies recover fully. Great work by the parents.

That was amazing work by two dedicated parents, I thought it was going to be a futile attempt by the parents, but they stuck to it and achieved their aim. I never imagined anything like that being a threat to baby birds. We can learn every day. Excellent catch by the photographer, well done.

I was quite relieved to see BOTH parents start picking off those pests!!! They were even stopping them at the source, back in the tree! YAY!!! I hope the person who was filming put some kind of ant killer at the base of the tree. I can't fault the person recording because if they had touched the babies, maybe the parents wouldn't take them back. The birds were such GREAT PARENTS! 🥰❣❣❣❣❣

У нас на даче скворечник, трое птенцов. Когда пришла пора им покидать дом, один вылетел и сразу полетел самостоятельно, второй полетел, да не туда, а в соседские кусты , а третий остался в гнезде. Так эти родители ещё четыре дня их опекали, кормили, бдили! Все живы, прилетают пятером к нашему дому поздороваться, посидят на проводах и летят по своим делам))))

I assume dislikes are from pple who’s rather see these birbs “rescued” by the humans filming, ie birb-snatched (SO common in the US with any wild baby creature “presumed” to be “abandoned” and helpless).
This video shows how precious the young are to both parents, and should make people think again about intrusive “rescues”.

Родители всегда заботятся о своих малышах. Жалко, что построили гнездо рядом с муравейником и пришлось этим родителям много потрудиться от нападения муравьёв. Бедные птенчики заживо были бы сьежены муравьями. Этот мир 🌏 удивительно создан Богом! И мы люди, учимся на примерах наших меньших братьев проявлять заботу о наших детях. 😊

Эта еда , похоже, не очень подходящая для птиц, Иначе от муравьев давно бы ничего не осталось. Где то читал--по массе муравьев на земле больше чем людей.
@@pavel8898 одна птичка если внимательно смотреть муравьев просто выплевывала , наверное самочка, а вот самец наелся, но это наверное скорее всего исключение из правил, так видно быстрее )

there is a nest above my kitchens door . few days ago I noticed that the little bird was moving too much .. I was concerned about it .. it was night
I looked and noticed a line of ants on the wall reaching the nest .I washed the wall with watet .. then tried to splash some water on the little bird . the weather here is very hot .. so it was ok. after about 10 min. every thing was ok . and I was happy .

Those poor tiny babies and nothing they could do to defend themselves. Thank God mom & dad wasn’t gone too long and both was there to combat that flame (so to speak). Ants can be vicious. Nature is very cruel. Only the strong survive.

The fact that they stayed there as long as they did cleaning them all up as team work, is astonishing!
