Good times, I remember in that time that I finished this game when I got my PlayStation 2 this is pure nostalgia and I also love the movie, I lost the count how much times I've seen the movie and play this awesome game.
The nostalgia is real. Spent hours replaying the campaign. And me and my bro and cousin used to play splitscreen claymore battles. Still remember I laughed so hard I nearly pissed my pants when the ragdolls went crazy. Some of the greatest and funniest moments I've had came from this game
Same, one time I was playing split screen with my friend and he went to the bathroom so I took his controler and circled him with his own claymores. When he got back the explosion blasted his guy so high he left the map and landed on an invisible wall. We both cried from laughing so much.
I used to play with my brother in split screen both campaign and 1v1. Ahhhh those days. Wish I could travel back. 😭 P.s - used to be a solid sniper in this game.

@@RotundRat115 You r correct and I found it easier to use it cuz I just had to one tap headshot the enemies whereas in AR, it had horrible recoil and the flash on the screen which made me unable to see the enemies (maybe i was just bad at AR). Btw, sniper has always been my fav weapon in most of the shooting games frm delta force, cod, cs to pubg till this day.
I remember being very excited with the movie and, then, finding out about this game to play on my PS2...nostalgic Lately, I really miss a good FPS war game with a good linear story

@@K177ER77 the enemies are more detailed, there are more variation of them like the sniper, AKs, shotguner, heavy machine gunner, smgs, and the bazookas.

I passed the PC version, it is much better, there is a sun , reflections in the water, dust, and it is more convenient to play. Look at the sky and the graphics here in the PS2 version , it's dark and gray, plus all the missions are cut down. Well, I always played on the PC, there at all times all games are better than console.

Plus , everything (I have never had a console , except for the NES , only used PC) , i think probably on PS2 consoles games of this genre were relatively less common. WHen I was younger I was confused as to why he said "Aidid just had a heart attack, I couldn't revive him" I was like Huh? Was he not the guy I just shot? Did he have a heart attack after getting shot and the game just never did a cutscene cus it's a game? If he was lying wouldn't they see the bullet wounds? Now I realize he was just lying to cover up an assassination or something.

This game has some truly horrendous visuals for a 2005 PS2 game, but I guess the animations are better than on PC, so that's a plus?
