I have a message from the East coast in Baltimore MD.When I saw on my other phone 📱 the Riveria Hotel torn down in 2015 after 60 years in Las Vegas --I was deeply 😞☹️ saddened because I mainly remember the Riveria Hotel from watching the very season of The Hollywood Squares with Peter Marshall--last season taped there Sep 1980-Sep.1981!! Note: I,ve never been to Las Vegas in real life but have seen enough of it on mainly on TV besides SQUARES & the last season of Let,s Make A Deal with Monty Hall at the Hilton hotel & of course The Tropicana Hotel(1957-2024) when the NBC revival of the CBS game show of Gambit which was Las Vegas Gambit also taped there from 1980-81 & then 18 years later in 2009 when CBS brought back Let,s Make A Deal with Wayne Brady--Wayne taped his first season of shows there also at The Tropicana hotel.67 years of history gone!!
When I watched the implosion of The Trop.hotel on THIS 📱 PHONE I HAVE NOW-- I was saddened yet again😢😭!! The last 2 implosions of these 2 final original Las Vegas hotels is in a.tie with the 1996 implosion of the old Montgomery Ward building in my old hometown St.Paul MN which I didn,t see until I went to my old childhood home in June of 2009.--The Twin Cities Mpls St Paul MN after been moved to Baltimore MD for 28.years!! At a loss for words.
There's no need to be that sarcastic. The lady was simply pointing out that sometimes old things are nostalgic. She did say that's how it works in Las Vegas. There's no need to be that nasty
That lady clearly doesn't understand Vegas. The strip is a living and breathing place and as time goes on, the old comes down and the new goes up. Rinse and repeat.
The vegas strip is kind of a double-edged sword in away. There are so many historic buildings and landmarks in very condensed place. However, the problem is there are so many historic building and landmarks in very condensed place that preservation is almost impossible. If they preserved the Tropicana, there would be case to preserve almost every hotel/ resort. Then where would it stop? The strip would never progress The lady asks if they will implode MGM, Park MGM and New York, New York. Eventually, yes, one day those hotels/resorts will be imploded to make room for more modern hotels.
Kudos to Las Vegas for "Raid"ing a former Oakland team. For that the get an "A". (Also to become a former Oakland team). (This is what's called "commenting for the sake of commenting").
Tropicana ... home of the Folies Bergere naked showgirl show Now, in corporate controlled Sin City...naked showgirls are banned The former Tropicana will now be the home of the kids game of baseball.
that lady said they’re going to implode the MGM Grand next she’s clearly a tourist😂 they ain’t ever gonna happen probably in 40 years😂 rumors are speculating the next hotel on the chopping block is circus Circus in the future, but it’s just a rumor lol
I was at the Tropicana for a wedding in the little chapel in 1994 but didn’t stay there. That stadium must be an indoor venue because Vegas is cold in the winter & unlivable in the summer.
Rest In Peace ✌ Tropicana Hotel Casino 😢😢😢
It opened 3 weeks after I was born ! 🦩 🦩 🦩

It's about time they stop destroying these legendary buildings in Vegas it breaks my heart😢
Will they have to if the hotels bankrupt the most likely going to get demolished lesser chance like the Bailey's would get a redone
Those buildings were in a really sad state, owners stop putting money back into it years ago
The lady in the interview clearly flunked Economics 101.
Like all Trump supporters
Yes exactly!!!. That's how Vegas 🤔 rolls..

Lol, lady just lying for the camera. The Tropicana was a dump and constantly had sewage problems
@@BabyJesus440 bullshit, Tropicana was 4 stars.
Wow, I was going to say, about 70 years old. She just said 67 years. Moved to Vegas about 1971..watched it grow, be imploded.
Rest in peace building 7
Any signs of jimmy Hoffa! O dust in the wind
This just in cleanup for an imploded casino is faster than help for hurricane victims, welcome to the USA
Ok TJ lighten up
You voted for him
Lots of new work for my union...Operating Engineers...which I'm now 7 years into my retirement.

the answer to her question: yes

The mafia laundry money machine.

Oh, and I thought the price of orange juice might go up.....
Everything will eventually be imploded and be built upon.
They left the sign, why?
For now..
What a waste

That's pretty brave to rent a room next door; what if anything went wrong.

Crazy tyrants
😂
Gosh, looks like WTC lol
Getting close.....lol.
It looks better with nothing there. Maybe the a's won't be able to get financing since they are struggling to do so.
What year was the Mirage demolished? I mean, buildings can outlive their usefulness. Especially in a 🏜
Liked
That placed looked like absolute shite. Every time we'd walk past the Tropicana it's depressing.
7-11 is a part time job 😅 ✌

People in Vegas care. I move there it was 200,000 now it is about 3 million.....
The Eagles didn't exist in 2022.

Just like building 7.
911 was an inside job
Burning printer paper gets hot.
I wonder if they found any passports after this demolition
Building 7 was demolished because it was too damaged there is no conspiracy.
