Your logic is correct and, as you pointed out, only works in clan wars when a commander is calling shots. In pub battles most often players are selfish, control the hill and farm targets instead of supporting those pushing from the field. Sometimes they happen to do it, often they don't care. You could even surmise that they'd prefer to lose teamates in order to farm more dmg for a 3rd mark of excellence for example. It's not unusual to see the highest stats players sitting in the back of a map until 2/3 of team is dead before they spring into action and farm damaged enemies. Even if they lose, they end up doing more dmg than those who earnestly went to fight for cap but died for lack of team support. But all of this comes with many years experience playing this game.🎉

The Emil player in the second battle didn't know how to use the C key to reload. That's why he hung onto a clip with only one shell in it for so long.
