- This is a Charlotte Airport arrival into Douglas International on American Airlines flight from Charleston West Virginia. We arrived at E Gates and it was a very long walk to get to the baggage claim. The airport is undergoing renovations and that does affect the ease of use for this airport.

It would be nice if CLT had some sort of plane train (like ATL) to get people from Terminal E to Terminal A, which is a really long walk. On the other hand, if you're going from one smaller airport (like CRW) to another smaller airport like Jacksonville, NC, going through CLT is much nicer because you don't have to change terminals.
I can remember when I flew to Spain via Dulles in 2007, I left CLT from what is now probably Gate E12-ish, and that was about as far as the E gates went. The northern portion of the E Terminal had not even been constructed yet. That was also before Terminal A began being expanded to what it is now.
That's crazy long walk
Yes with heavy luggage it really wears on you
2:17 There was Flight internationals wrong way you could simply turn around lol. xD
That does seem like a bit of a jaunt. It makes it kind of inconvenient. They should partner with a gym and have 2 functions, an airport/gym with that walk lol
I've heard from some people on Facebook leaving comments on Philippine Airlines’ posts requesting a non-stop flight between this airport in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Manila. I do not know if Philippine Airlines will consider non-stop flights serving this airport although most likely when considering airports with a longer non-stop flight distance than New York JFK, they would have non-stop flights out of Washington Dulles, Atlanta, and others on an A350, 777X-8, and 787-9.
i have a flight with a 30 min connection in clt... im now super worried seeing how big this airport is
I just connected in charlotte from Jacksonville , I had 1 hour until my next flight and I just made it with about 8 min to spare. Expect 15-35 min delay after landing, taxiways are a traffic jam . Then you have to walk forever while shoulder to shoulder in crowded terminals to you next gate. Charlotte is a madhouse. Hope I never see that airport again
Having said that I hope your experience is much better than mine was

That walk stinks
Looks like a dump
Lol well to be fair they are renovating it. But that walk is a beast and those walking escalators don’t all work unfortunately
