Welp, here's the final Mecha Talk video for the year. I have quite a number of videos planned for next year so do look forward to them. The next one especially is something I'm sure some of you have been looking forward to. See you guys in 2017!
Well. Now there is a new mecha godzilla in the animated part of the shin godzilla series pf movies now, and we don't know jack crapabot his weapons, why he failed and why he doesn't look like any mecha goji we saw before.
Man I really like this series, ever thought about doing Mecha talk on The Robot Romance Trilogy(Combattler V, Voltes V, Daimos)? Kind of got into it for some reason, the music is catchy.
Also fun facts: the fight with anigurus in Godzilla vs mechagodzilla uses the same suit as the normal Godzilla. And at the end of terror of mechagodzilla when Godzilla is roaring in the ocean, they use the same suit that the used for the fake Godzilla
Here's hoping the Monster Planet or it eventual sequel to create a new incarnation of M.G. I mean, they literally *have* the technology and is already using mechs. Just imagine the sheer amount of guns on something that can fight the biggest Godzilla to date give me wonderful pants feelings.
As a fan of many mecha series (Tegen Toppa Gurren Lagann IS my favorite mecha anime and Gainax show), I'd really like to help you with the voices. I have a mic and a good setting to give a decent audio quality. But seeing all those other guys with their channel (voice actors, specialised channels), I don't know if I'm decent enough to the standards... :C
Naturally, voice overs are that important in those kind of video projects. :) I'm still interested in lending you my voice. Maybe if you talk about the first Original Mecha from Super Robot Taisen. You know...... Cybuster. B)
Question, with The Godzilla Monster Planet movies about to show off a new version of MechaGodzilla, will you be updating this video to include that version or keep it the way it is?
The Mysterians has never been mentioned as part of the GMMG timeline, which doesn't have any major alien invasions unless you're counting the chouseishin series. Why do that? Because the chouseishin series features maser cannons, Professor Chujo (Hiroshi Koizumi's character from Mothra and Tokyo S.O.S.), a 1963 model Gotengo, and a number of new versions of Toho monsters not otherwise part of GMMG's timeline like Megalon (Scaraberes), Moguera (Megarion), and Hedorah (Deathball and Neo Deathball). The 1963 look of the Gotengo means it can't take place in the Showa timeline - the Gotengo was heavily modified for space travel in 1988 - but there are other problems (dubious placement of Gransazers in relation to GXM & GMMG, ambiguous introduction of the Gotengo, etc.) that make it hard to line up with the GMMG movies perfectly. ...hey, why not do a video on Riseross? He's awesome, basically what would happen if Kiryu and Gigan had a baby that mentored with the Dragonzord.
Thanks for letting me know. I included Moguera because his appearance in the timeline was mentioned in wikizilla, Godzilla Wikia and TV Tropes. Though its probably a mistake since he wasn't mentioned in the picture showing the timeline. I guess I just have to be more careful next time. godzilla.wikia.com/wiki/Godzilla_Against_MechaGodzilla#Trivia wikizilla.org/wiki/Godzilla_Against_Mechagodzilla#Trivia tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Film/GodzillaAgainstMechagodzilla
Well Godzilla wasn't dead in GvMG2 (1993). It was official confirmed he was still alive just paralyzed from the waist down. Godzilla was given a faster healing factor, spiral ray (FYI it is estimated to be much hotter than you all stated) and more durability, power and strength. Godzilla can only be killed by matter or molecule manipulation/destruction or draining his energy. Which is why the oxygen destroyer was able to kill the first one. It's a weapon that destroys atoms, molecules etc. It can pretty much destroy anything. Wikizilla confirms this. Godzilla (at least at his best) can't be "physically" killed. You need those methods I just stated in order to kill him.
Also just to correct you guys the official name for Godzilla's red spiral ray is called the Uranium Spiral Ray as confirmed by Wikizilla who they got this info from the Japanese Godzilla guide book. Godzilla has stronger levels of the Spiral ray. Spiral Ray, Uranium Spiral Ray and Infinity Spiral Ray. The Infinity Spiral Ray is used by Burning Godzilla by the end of Godzilla vs Destoroyah when his energy infinitely rises and he blast Destroyah damaging him and forcing him to retreat only to then get shot down by the JSDF freezer weapons since he was injured enough for them to finish him off.
I hope they don't go the mecha route with Godzilla vs kong. we all know the first half of the movie is going to be Godzilla and kong fighting but then something bigger and badder is going to show up and they have to put aside their differences and work together. I was hoping they would save king ghidorah for that one because he is badass enough to give kong and Godzilla trouble but they will defeat him, give each other a nod, and kong will go back to skull island and Godzilla will reign supreme
And we'll see mecha-godzilla again in this year's Godzilla vs Kong. Nice! 2021 rocks!

D180223 Are you planning to cover Transformers under this series?
Yes, I do plan to cover Unicron eventually.
KIRYU is my favorite
MechaGodzilla has a new combiner form

How about explained full potential/power of the ∀ gundam ?
Good video. This really makes me want to have Godzilla and MechaGodzilla Kiryu return in a more traditional SRW.
This is cool. Maybe a ∀ Gundam video soon?
Also, excited for Gurren Lagann!
Huh. Didn't expect THAT ONE to be the next Mecha talk so soon! Something to look forward to next year!
GURREN LAGANN!! Oh this is going to be absolutely amazing. I love TTGL
My favorite incarnation of Mechagodzilla has to be Kiryu, because of how sleek it looks. Also I'm excited for a video on Gurren Lagann!
Just found this channel!! Loving it so far!
Thanks man 👍
Year is 2021 and we do have a new Mechagodzila that like the ones before it has a uniqe origin story.
Enjoyed the Mecha Godzilla videos you have done. Look forward to the ones you have in 2017.
Thanks. Looking forward to the covers you have planned as well.
Awesome Video. Must have more from the Godzillas series. Hope you can make King Ghidorah video.
could you do the ELS quanta gundam next year?
To be fair about the "ripping his head of again" stuff: in 1974 mechagodzilla got his neck ripped off, and then in 1975 they ripped off his head.
Also fun facts: the fight with anigurus in Godzilla vs mechagodzilla uses the same suit as the normal Godzilla. And at the end of terror of mechagodzilla when Godzilla is roaring in the ocean, they use the same suit that the used for the fake Godzilla

Well...looks like your wish came true 😄
the missiles on the fingers of mecha-godzilla may have been referenced in the super sentai/power rangers dragon zord. :P
Actually, that's correct. The Dragon Caesar or Zord if you're from the US like myself, may as well be MechaGodzilla reincarnated.
Wanna know mecha robots wars? Mechagodzilla Showa1 vs Super Mechagodzilla 2 vs Mechagodzilla 3 kiryu vs cyber zilla vs mechani kong
great job man :D
looking at the old videos run at 60fps just.. odd lol
A new mecha Godzilla?
You mean a jeager!
Kaidoku123 WE DON'T NEED A LIVE ACTION SHINJI!

I actually already have my guest for the Gurren Lagann video. I kind of get my guests for each video a few months in an advance.
Naturally, voice overs are that important in those kind of video projects. :)

nice 😊 I like this story
Do you think you could do a Mecha Talk video on the Gundam Barbatos at some point?
Sure, though I would do so only after the series has ended.
Gotcha - well, looking forward to it whenever it happens.
D180223 alas, it is finally done...
Question, with The Godzilla Monster Planet movies about to show off a new version of MechaGodzilla, will you be updating this video to include that version or keep it the way it is?
The Monster Planet version of MechaGodzilla doesn't deserve a video. It was such a let down.
Why dont they build a jaeger (pacific rim)???
I wish you'd all taken some time to actually talk about behind the scenes info...

Kiryu was the best because he had the bones of the 1954 gojir

We never said he died. We said he was *crippled* 9:13
