This is a very good speech from a very courageous and intelligent muslima. She stood her ground in the midst of these lax and lenient muslim women, who seem fond of opposing her ideas and prefer to misinterpret them altogether. What she says are all true anyway, whether we like it or not, this is happening in our society around the world. We need to be vigilant and less submissive as muslims, if we find that the values imposed contradicts to our deen. May Allah protect Dra. Rasha.

    As Salam Aliekom
During the period of Ijtihad women excelled at many things and our voices were heard and inshallah we can encourage, nurture, support & inspire the spirit of Ijtihad within us & our communities.
But this is not just for Muslima but all women
