Asalam o alikum, i'm a Christian but I am reading Holy Qur'an, as I read Holy Qur'an I have that feeling that I am at home to be honest, while reading it tears started to fall from my eyes. I hope as soon as possible I can convert to Islam but my family are against to it 😥 so help me God.

I awoke early today because sleep is sometimes difficult for me. Although I am Christian I wanted to hear the call to prayer so I went to TH-cam to listen. I asked/posted a question regarding why we cannot hear this in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I then listened to another beautiful voice singing Adhan (I think I spelt it right?). And then I came across Joshua Evans. It was the best start to a day of mine in such a long time. I wish now to go to my local mosque to begin my learning. May God bless you all.

Every question he had as a christian I have. I am reading the Quran for 3 months now and have found only truths - may Allah Ta'allah open my mind to understand Islam and may Allah Ta'alla send someone on my path to teach me how to pray as I struggle with prayer and may I very soon embrance Islam.

He is so right about millions of people wanting hear about Islam, after I took shahada 4 years ago I have since been witness to at least 30 shahadas in my friends and family and almost every other month we see a new person taking shahada. Young people are taking shahada and doing nikah to stay away from haram and this is a miracle to me when you look at the condition we are living in. These young girls are going from wearing bikinis in public, drinking, doing drugs to keeping their prayers and wearing hijab and trying to please Allah Alhoumdulilah we need more and more dawah in America. Please make dua for me that at the present time we are trying to get into the womens correctional facilities in this area to teach about Islam, make dua Allah makes it easy for us inshallah!!

I converted from Christianity to Islam in 2012. I thank ALLAH every day that I'm a Muslim. My anxious soul has found peace and tranquillisation. Jesus says in the Lord's Prayer ( Matthew 6:9-13 & Luke 11:2-4) that our Creator forgives us our sins. Jesus never said that he is a God and that he want to be worshipt. The church has made Jesus a God. Dear Christians read the Gospels with open eyes and realize that Jesus is a messenger of our Creator.

I too am from South Carolina, Myrtle Beach to be exact, only a short drive from Greenville just as Joshua. What he says is so true about growing up with die hard Christian parents. This video had such an impact on my way of thinking that it helped me convert to Islam 5 months ago. It was th best thing I have ever done Alhamdulillah. Allah is the only true God and Insha'Allah may he permit me to grow like a flower in my deen. We only have one life in this dunya and Insha'Allah may u see the truth

I came to Islam just over 5 years ago. My family is of Catholic and Jewish religions and I also wished I knew about Islam earlier because its the best thing that has ever happened to me. I had even posted my Shahada video on my TH-cam Channel. I used to believe in all the misconceptions that was shown in the media until I did my own research and found that none of it is true and knew this is Religion is for me.

I am a Catholic born and raised.. I have married a Muslim and have learned so much from him and his family.. I have been learning and wanting to know more before I say that I want to be Muslim... This video had me in tears because so much of what he said was true... I say how can I be Muslim if I don't know anything about it... I do not want to learn the culture of Muslims I want to know Allah... That is the part I have so much problem with.. People want to tell me how to dress and how to act but I want to know why Muslims are so strong in the love of Allah...I want peace in my heart... Our children go to a Islamic school and they love it...I learn from them what I can... Please help... MarshAllah some one can..

For the past 5 years, I have claimed to be atheist then agnostic. Now I feel God calling me but I have no idea where to turn. I have felt very drawn towards Islam but I have no guidance, I'm not sure how to continue my spiritual journey. I feel inadequate, not good enough to be a Muslim. I feel so lost, I wish someone would come into my life and show me the way but I am too nervous to reach out..

      @toilaa.m5696 7 ปีที่แล้ว +232

Ashley Hales If you are too nervous to reach out i am extending my hand to help you .Never think you are not good enough to be muslim, Islam is not only for good people it is for those striving to be good too , God almighty dose not demand perfection from us but he demand from us trying and striving and learning from our mistakes and repenting to him , he is the most merciful the forgiving , if you can attend the mosque on the weekends it would be a great learning experience but if that is too hard for you here is a great web newmuslimacademy.org/
It is a new muslim academy and it has video clasess , live chat , and forums where new muslim members can connect , it is a lovely community and they have question and answers sections , i advice you to enrol and join this site it is free and great for your spiritual journey and you will get the sens of community and not feel so alone , i invite you to not give up or be disheartened by the struggle of the journey it is well worth and Islam is not just a religion it is the absolute truth i can not enjoy the beauty of Islam and not invite you when you are seeking so welcome and feel free to ask anything , you have goodness in your heart if you feel God calling to you, a dead heart never feels that way.

I have been having the same issues with Christianity....as a child reading the bible and going to church I always used to ask myself...how come God is a jealous God but yet still we pray n worship Jesus who is a man. it always bothered me when the pastor would ask people who came to the alter n gave their testimonies.."who did that for you?" n they would all say Jesus...I ended up just like this guy...a believer in God...but not attached to any religion. And out of all other religions Islam was the only one that made sense to me! I am still learning about it and I plan on fully converting once I move out of my family's home because I know they would not be accepting of my choice to become a muslim...I will be honest I am a bit nervous about wearing a hijab...but I try to keep in mind that I will be doing it for allah...and not for man! I am thankful that I was able to be the chosen one in my entire Christian family to be converted to Islam. Islam is the way of life and I am a firm believer in allah and his teachings.

Alhumdulilah!! I watched this and cried because it felt like you were speaking straight from my life!! I was also raised in the Carolina's, by my grandparents in a religious home ( although we were holiness) and I felt all the same things about the bible. Why the contradictions? Why were tings taught the way they were when the bible clearly states something different. I went through so many of the same experiences that this video blew me away. Fighting, a car wreck that potentially should have killed me. And here I am, living my new life as an American Muslim with the belief in Allah in the way that I alwaysss knew in my heart was right

I am a black woman, single parent, looking for the truth and I feel from the message, I have found my answer. I am seeking more knowledge, can someone help me. Islam is where my heart it. Allah's teachings is like music to my soul. This is a beautiful testimony. I can totally relate to this man.

I am a Christian and I appreciate everything said in this video.
There is only one thing I understand personally.
I love God. God goes by many names under many cultures.
The only thing I understand about God, is to love your neighbour as you love God, and whatsoever you do to the least of men... To your enemy.. You also do unto God.
Bless Muslims, bless Christians, bless Jewish and all people.
    Love one another. Always.
To love each other, the world, in the worst of circumstances is the true meaning of sacrifice.
You sacrifice your hate, for love, understanding and forgiveness for without those, we are nothing.
We should inhale and exhale Gods love and peace with every breath.
Love and peace.... To all.... Who read this.

Hey, I did my shahada at this Masjid. This will be my 6th Ramadan. I was a very heavy Christian then. After becoming disillusioned with Christian churches, I researched where the book called the Bible came from. I realized that is is really a Novel, written by the enemies of Isa (alahi salem) in an attempt to get the followers of Isa to come into the existing Roman church, which had a trinity. The Novel called the bible renames Isa as Jesus (sounds a lot like "horus" from the mythra trinity of the Romans) and was obviously rewritten or parts of it completely fabricated (as in the Book of Acts) from the documents brought in (from the elders of all the churches) to the coucils of Nicea and Constatinople in 325 ad. It is full of soap opera scenes and very a emotionally cultish book and subsequently religion.
    alhumdullilah, my eyes were opened.

Wow! I am so glad to hear another former Christian to find the truth about one true God and the meaning of God's true words that is written in the Quran. I was like you in the sense that I tried several religions and never really felt peace with the scriptures. I read the Bible and I forgot that it said Noah was an alcoholic and all of the other misconceptions. I agree that the Bible does say and other holy books that there is one God as the creator and we are the creation. I have found that as a general concept but then find prophet stories to have discrepancies. I converted to Islam and hope that I can be the best Muslim so that I can teach my son and family. The whole point is that there is only One God and everyone should understand the fundamental concept of this meaning.

He and I have a lot in common. I cannot say that I was raised in the church. I cannot say I was raised by a religions family but I did go to church, I read the bible my mother was a women who spoke of God.
I always wanted to believe in something but at the same time I always placed a high value on logic and everything that made practical sense. I used to always try to make sense of the Bible and faith in God but it was never easy and it was never as easy as the logic enshrined in the Quran.
I never knew it until now but I used to read the Bible a lot. I still know a lot of the stories from the Bible. Those stories from the Bible is what made it possible for me to be a Muslim today.

I just finnished watching it and I know I'm late because this has been posted about 5 years ago and maybe I'm too young but I know something for sure: After Joshua finnished his speech I was about to cry. This speech got into my heart and I'm about to read more about Islam tomorrow and I'm even going to translate this speech in my language because I don't want to put a bucket in my candle and I would give Abdullah his medicine.... so even if it's kind of hard to translate it right away from Joshua's speech (the text would really help though) I will still do it. I feel like there are a lot of people I know out there who don't know English and they're not as lucky as me but I won't stay without doing anything. Thanks to Joshua I will pass this message and hopefully more people will be as lucky as me to open their eyes to Islam. Thank you Joshua and thank Allah for this beautiful religion. I am thankful :)

honestly I feel humbled listening to these courageous reverts brother, sisters stories and find myself thinking would I have been able to find Islam if not being born Muslim!we Muslims should not be hesitant to invite people to truth as they will ask us on judgment day why we didn't.

Awesome video. I am also from the Lowcountry in South Carolina. We lived the same way you did. I am just looking at the religions of the world and Islam really has my attention at the moment. I want you to know that I appreciate you. BTW, I went to Middleton (now West Ashley) High School, so GO HOGS and I can't ride with Greenville. Anyway, I realized at age 18 that I didn't learn everything from traditions or my parents. I am open to new religions (or no religion), so I search for a home. Thank you for your contribution. Reading the Bible now and the Quran.

My Christian brothers/ sisters, how many proof will you need before you turn to the true God of Jesus PBUH. Please look at the bible objectively and then you will find Islam has all the answers. Before you make any comments picked up from anti-Islamic websites ask the same question on Islamic websites to get the answer. You owe it to yourself. Peace.

I really am considering Islam, but I have some questions. 1: why did God/Allah create us? 2: can evolution and Islam coexist? 3: How do you know for sure Islam is real? Like any personal stories or experiences. I have a hard time with faith, but for some reason I keep coming back to Islam. It keeps sparking my interest
