      How do you know Islam is not the truth? Let me guess, media has told you so!
      Have you ever read an Islamic literature? The Holy Quran or Hadith?

    • @AxmedBahjad
      @AxmedBahjad 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Did you read the Holy Quran with open-minded attitude?
      I do not think so according to your comment. Bring here your evidence and support it. I await your coherent argument.

    Oh how I miss your lectures/talks Sister Aminah Asslimi. I pray to Allah (SWT) that He makes your grave wider, bring forth the good smell of Jana to your grave, shower you with His Love, Forgiveness, and Mercy, reward you with Jenatou El-Fardous and be among the Prophets, the Prophet Muhammad (SAAWS), and your family and extended family. You are like a precious Perl that was taken for a short while and when the time comes, He will elevate that Perl among the highest of his creation. I miss you but I have to accept the will of Allah (SWT).
    I did get the opportunity to meet you but I ask Allah (SWT) to make it happen in the Hereafter, in the Janatou El-Fardous, because Oh Allah (SWT), I know YOU CAN! Ameen!
    @Amber DeGeorge - Call you mom and tell her you love her and you miss her every minute of everyday because she is very precious and don't wait till Allah (SWT) calls upon her too.
    Oh Allah - Build a house for our Sister Aminah Asslimi in the Janatou El-Ferdous and let her be the Prophet's (SAAWS), and my neighbor. Ameen Ya Rab El-Alameen!

    One of the definitions of the word religion is a belief as taught and practiced. If some of the religious people dont behave properly then it is either bad doctrine or bad practice, but in both cases it is the fault of religion, so yes we can judge a religion from the few that use religion for their own agenda. If beliefs can be misinterpreted and abused then there is something seriously wrong with the religion of those beliefs.

    My friend, at least we agreed that this kind of behavior is unfair. And yes perhaps it's psychologically natural for 'some' people to only remember and see the negative side of some matter,,but that doesn't make it a true claim. because it's a matter of perspective. some people wanted to see it in one direction while others try to see it in different angle. Your claim about this natural instinct is still debatable. There are still a lot of people who have positive insight about everything.

    Yet, schools are judged by the number of students that succeed to get into universities every year. You might have some good, but the overall image is judged by those that make the most "noise", and if you think thats not fair, well too bad ... because it really is like this for everything. People dont forgive abuse of any kind, and they tend to remember bad things and forget the good things and thats how life goes.

    I am someone who denounced religion a few years back. That does not make me an atheist, although many would call me exactly that. I have witnessed people of faith be that religious, political or military faith being flocked and manipulated simply because they refuse to "judge" their stance from a logical perspective on the grounds of faith, and they refuse to do so even when they can see that the institute they have faith into is using them. Haven't you seen that yet ?

    I agree that it is unfair, yet it is in our nature to remember only the bad things. This is how we survive. If we forget bad things, then these will happen again, so we humans have the ability to remember the bad things in order to avoid them. Extending this into society we see it happening in every aspect of our lives, and thus when we think about a school, a religion, a constitution or anything that has shown bad character we tend to remember just that, and to avoid it. It is only natural.

    i disagree totally, religions in themselves are perfection, islam is perfection, human beings are not. Religion is a guide for humanity, something to aspire to, you can not in all fairness judge a belief solely by its believers.

  • @devmorfo
    @devmorfo 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    And thus we move into what I said at the begining. Since all religions have already shown their bad characters (except budhism if I'm not mistaken) we have for example Taliban and Malala in Pakistan, NLFT in India, soldiers in Palaistine and so on and so forth, we see that the only reason people stay with a religion that inflicts pain and agony is faith, and in fact it is blind faith. If we could eradicate religion without losing god we could eradicate blind faith and cases like those above.

  • @IvanMahyaDeva
    @IvanMahyaDeva 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Of course it's not fair,don't you think the good one is deserve some credits too? it would be immoral to appreciate the bad one & marginalize the good one,even tho the good one is greater in number.how can you put yourself into a subjective position & called yourself a just person.it's contradict the idea of justice.I agree that most people love to hear a 'scandal' and forget about the positive side of something. but that doesn't prove anything. it's just prove that people sometimes become bias.

  • @IvanMahyaDeva
    @IvanMahyaDeva 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is it just to labeled a religion based on what few people did. What about the others? We can't say a whole school is bad school for having some of their student failed in their exam. can we? i think it's a fail logic. And If you are my boss, and ordered me to deposit some money into the bank, but i misinterpret your order or even abuse it, and put it in my private account, it will not be your fault, it's my fault. My lack of understanding or maybe my evil intension make me that way.

  • @devmorfo
    @devmorfo 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Faith is believing without evidence. Faith is one of the few things that have ruined humanity throughout the years. Those who have faith in anything not just god are being manipulated by more capable humans. Soldiers have faith in their leaders before going to war. The fact that at the end some are wrong and some are right is an example of why we should remove faith from our cultures. Keep your god if you wish. You need to abolish religion, because faith will let others take advantage of you.

  • @devmorfo
    @devmorfo 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    As I said I'm not sure about budhists. Nevertheless I dont "hate" any religion, I do not accept that religion has anything good to offer, and the examples I gave where the for bad christians (NLFT), bad Jews (palaistine) and bad Muslims (Taliban). They all fail in their most basic foundation of love and piece that the all claim. Let me explain it in another way. An army goes to war and kills thousands of inoccent people. I say abolish millitary, and you say dont judge the army by some actions.

  • @thomasdoubting1097
    @thomasdoubting1097 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Dear Sister (and Reader),
    Conversion to Mohammed’s Islam is a simple and easy process that requires you to say a sentence called the Testimony of Faith (Shahada), which is pronounced as: I testify “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad rasoolu Allah.”
    Translated from Arabic, it means: “There is no true god (deity) but God (Allah), and Muhammad is the Messenger (Prophet) of God.” Once a you say the Shahada with conviction and understanding its meaning, then you have become a Muslim - easy to get in, dangerously difficult to get out!
    However, accepting Jesus is much harder, as you must feel in the depths of your heart that He is, at the least, a direct representation of God on earth! Conversion to Jesus is expressed mainly by your deeds according to His teaching and not by your words alone!
    It is a mistake to think that if you were born into a Christian family, you are automatically a Christian!
    To be a follower of the Teaching of Jesus requires more than believing that He was just a messenger; that you must perform ritual prayers; give to charity and the needy; perform pilgrimages and fasting.
    Jesus himself said that to enter the kingdom of heaven each individual must be (spiritually) born again.
    Jesus also made it clear that not everyone that says to Him, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the kingdom of heaven.
    Therefore, you cannot say you are a follower of Jesus if you:
    - have NO objection being the second, third or fourth wife of the same husband (Qur’an - Sura 4:3);
    - have NO objection being simply the male’s fertile land , "so (man) come unto your tillage as (he) wishes." (Qur’an - Sura 2:223)
    - have NO objection sharing your husband in paradise with a good number of "maidens restraining their glances, untouched (virgins) before them by any men or jinn...lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral." (Qur’an - Sura 56:23)
    - have NO objection being treated as half worth your brother; "two men should witness, but if not two men, then one man, and two women so that if one of the two women should err, the other will remind her." (Qur’an - Sura 2:282)
    - DO object to uncovering your hair to dry (from perfume anointing) the feet of God’s greatest prophet (Bible - Luke 7:37-38)
    - DO object, even as a woman yourself, to accept another woman’s testimony when she (Mary Magdalene) was the first person to see that Jesus was no longer dead, but alive! (Bible - John 20:16)
    However, if you choose to believe and follow Mohammed, who, according to the Qur’an itself:
    - WAS NOT the WORD of God (Kalimatullah)
    - WAS NOT the SPIRIT of God (Ruhullah)
    - WAS NOT the Messiah (Al-Masih)
    - WAS NOT miraculously born of a virgin woman
    - DID NOT speak to his mother at the very moment of his birth
    - DID NOT say that he was a prophet when he was still in the cradle
    - NEVER breathed life into clay birds
    - NEVER healed the blind and lepers
    - NEVER raised people from the dead
    - HAS SINNED
    - DIED and is still BURIED
    - WAS NEVER taken bodily up to God in heaven
    - WILL NEVER come again at the end of time;
    Then, I wish you all the best and God bless!
    'The Prophet (Mohammed) said, '''By Allah, though I am the Apostle of Allah, yet I do not know what Allah will do to me''' (Hadith vol. 5, no. 266).
    Qur’an , Surah 3:55 - Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee ABOVE those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection.
    This is the GREAT DIFFERENCE between following Jesus OR following Mohammed, ACCORDING TO THE QUR’AN - Jesus is ALIVE with God in heaven - but Mohammed is DEAD and BURIED to this day, in Medina, Saudi Arabia, where he is still awaiting God’s Judgment!
    Jesus allows you the free will to follow Him, and should you choose NOT TO, no earthly harm will come to you! And, how do we follow Jesus (Isa)? Simply, by trying to imitate all that is written about Him in the Gospel (Injil)!
    Jesus said: “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.”

    So may I say that you are an agnostic sir? coz you denounced your religion but refuse to be called as an atheist.. furthermore I also know that some people are using religion for their own agenda, but that doesn't make the religion is a bad thing. I mean we can't judge a book by its cover. For me, Islam is a perfect religion unfortunately the Muslims are not perfect. we can't blame Islam for what some Muslim did. We need to look deep into the religion itself and find its pure form of teaching

    compare Jesus of the quran and mohammad of the quran...even the quran glorifes Jesus and says he is sinless where as the quran says mohammad asked forgiveness for his past present and future sins....In the Bible Jesus is God see verses from Hebrews 1:5 and John 17:5 where in both is shows that Jesus is God..the quran on the other hand also says Jesus is sinless/he did miracles/did not kill/ did not marry/had a miraculous bith by a virgin/did not die but was lifted up by allah/ mohd: did the opp.

    Sorry Aminah, I can't take your agruments seriously because isn't the whole point of covering up in Islamic society the reason that you're sexually alluring to men? Young girls! I'm passed it too at age 46, so I find your argument ridiculous. "Why would you look at me with this on my head?" Of course young men wouldn't want to!

    Now, you are being unfair again my friend. You only see things in one side, remember there's always be two side of coins. If you said palestine then what about Jews, If you said Taliban then what about Secular christian country like US and Britain. See, you pointing your finger only for a certain group of religion. makes me realized where you are standing actually.You don't hate all religion, you only hate certain religion & for your information Muslim Rohingya slaughtered by Buddhist in Burma.

    That is not islam that is cultural ignorance, Black africans have a morality all there own, it has nothing to do with Islam. Whatever you are reading or listening to its not true. Do you know the age of consent in america 200-300 years ago was 10 years old. Please dont write anymore of this nonsense to me and do your own research, not just research to jusify your hatred.
