In my opinion, Emporio & Georgio Armani are completely different brands to Exchange and Jeans. The quality and style are so much better, and they tend to defer from the big bold logo.
Yes exactly. Something this guy clearly has no idea about whatsoever. And calling armani overpriced and then putting up pictures of exchange shirts that are literally around 35 quid these days for the exact purpose of being affordable in comparison to Georgio. Geezers an absolut melt. Needs to do his homework
Doc Martens' quality went down the toilet during the '90s. I used to wear their low quarters when they were cheap and made in the UK. In one year the price tripled.
I wore mine once. They ended up in the trash bin. I find good quality and comfortable boots at the local farm supplier that also carries my Wranglers and flannel shirts. My style attracts people that are like me.
There is a new category of style that is happening right now, which is "technical wear". Brands like North Face, Arc'teryx Veilance are easily picked to fit in this category because like you mentioned, they are for functionality. You're right that it is not fashionable in the traditional sense, but I don't think you can discount the fact they serve their purpose much better than other brands you didn't list here, like Gucci, Hermes.
True Religion also downgraded a lot in the last 8-10 years, I think it has something to do with the bankruptcy the company went through, but the style and quality is terrible. Going through 80 tshirts barely can find 2-3 to match the look that made them a big brand, just an opinion
Aw...wow!! Was I ever this young? These arguments have been going on for decades and will no doubt go on for decades more. Should I buy Levi Sta-Press'd? Skinners Jeans? Brogues? Lofa's? Crombie's and so on?? I'm 57 now and I've been wearing Doc Martens since I was thirteen (1973). Initially as a fashion/lifestyle choice but later in life just because they're comfy. Later on it was Wranglers Vs Levis Vs Red Box etc...What you wear isn't as important as how you wear it. A fat man with the latest Reebok's is still going to look like a twat next to a slim, healthy man wearing Tesco Value pumps! When you're my age you'll think the same way. And when I was your age I thought the same way you do now.
We would care little about what others thought of us if we realised how little they thought it... We spend so much time trying to impress people we don't like who don't care any way
Or gant another rip off gant t shirts thirty nine pounds for t shirt the seller sold four hundred fifty on ebay its just name ur paying for have tee shirts since last three years and they cost six pounds and they kept shape since i got them never put t shirts in dryer they will shrink
To each his own! It’s your money and you only live once so spend it how you want. Don’t let anyone ever tell you how to spend or what to buy. Live your life smartly and at your own choice.
I am a fan of both Ralph Lauren and The North Face. You make some valid points about both brands regarding quality/pricing with Ralph Lauren and stylishness with The North Face. Ralph Lauren and the Polo brand in particular has a rich history and if searching for vintage pieces there are some real gems. The North Face is not really a stylish brand to begin with but utililtarian styles appeal to me as part of my casual style and The North Face's appropriation by streetwear has resulted in some inspiring pieces.
100% agree with the Ralph Lauren inconsistency in quality. I use their brand but it's mostly specific types of fabric and I never buy at full (obscene) retail price.
I think with north face, you have to consider its moulded into street wear alongside its explorer roots. The last 2 - 3 years have seen a dramatic change in their design approach as well as collaborations with other brands. While yes I would not wear their garments while trying to look smart and presentable, for casual wear (especially in rainy England) their puffers and occasional jumpers are brilliant.
I love that Ben Arthur gives great advice about style choices without trying to shove sponsored brands down your throat. His advice is unbiased and clear. Great job Ben
Yea Pima cotton is why I buy that brand there's other brands that use that cotton but mainly Armani or Armani exchange ( the less expensive brand ) as well but yea now i have a habit of checking shirts to see if it has Pima cotton lol
About Brand I have a Armani hood yes it looks fuking amazing and on me but the quality is shit and that’s coming from a person who buys Armani a lot t shirts are alright but the hood of the price for what you get not worth I keep having to relace the hoodie kinda strings and put them back in which takes like 10 minutes cause it’s not like a typical jacket where the laces actually stay in
This is so true. The mistake we make is,brands are not always equals to quality or fit.I will never buy a ralph Lauren polo shirt coz the prices r ridiculous.I focus mostly on fit and quality.Remember..there r lots of unknown brands out there that delivers quality at very low price but my argument does not rule out the fact that some well known brands do delivers quality as well but u just have to be cautious that many times u r paying for the brand and not the cloth. In denim..no ome can convinced me to drop Levis. All their clothing looks amazing on my body and do not care for price tags
The finest item of clothing I own is an Armani tux. It is timeless. Armani does an outstanding job with sport coats as well. They drape beautifully. Of course I would never buy a t-shirt that had anything screen printed on it. Regarding Ralph Lauren, I have some items I have owned and worn regularly for 20 years. The material quality and production quality of these items is outstanding. Most clothiers have dumbed down their products in recent years.
Love the insight into the first four brands, regardless Armani is worth the money if you know which Armani th buy. As you may know there is Armani exchange, emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani and Armani. Armani as it is is definitely worth the money since the build quality is very high and the fit is very well made, downside it is a lot more expensive than the aforesaid Armanis
The north face is not very fashion forward, but I don't think it's an overpriced brand for the value of the clothing. I have north face products that are over ten years old and still in great condition.
I was a bit surprised when you mentioned The North Face. Having owned several of their jackets, I can safely say that their rainwear is very good, not just when hiking but also in a rainy area such as Scotland. As for the normal clothing, I haven't had experience with those. The other brands were spot on IMO. Great vid :)
I really love Armani suits. But, that was in the 90's. Starting around 2001-2002 it started to become more about an icon than about quality and style. The last thing I bought from Armani was a tie in 2005.
You should have referred to Armani Jeans, that is the low quality high street version of Armani. Giorgio Armani is the best stylist we ever had in Italy and maybe one of the best in the world. I'm Italian and I live in Milan, the ultimate city of fashion, the city of Giorgio Armani. When there is the Milano Fashion Week, the most important in the world along with London and New York, the Armani's fashion show is the most awaited fashion show. Armani dresses Melania Trump, The Royal Family in a few occasions and most of the Hollywood stars during the Oscars. I appreciate you grooming videos, very honest, but how do you dare to dismiss Armani in this way, comparing him to the shifty brands you have mentioned? In Montenapoleone street in Milan, where is Armani most important boutique, there are beautuful woman dresses that cost like £ 20.000!
Ralph Lauren is a great brand! You do however need to avoid outlet stores. The Pima Cotton polo may just be the best Polo on the market. If you can find the rugby shirts and the oxfords of yesterday these can be of the highest quality. Like any other massive brand that has to appeal to the masses there's going to be some lower quality items.
Best not to buy anything that is trying to "appeal to the masses", at least in the way you describe it. I can understand smaller brands trying that to survive, but as soon as a big, already profitable brand goes down that road, i'm out. ...its a sort of cultural "disease" that eventually hits most brands, where they get some new people on the board who basically want to use the company's good name to hawk a bunch of questionable products for absolute maximum profit at any cost. ....new board members or execs. literally trading the brand's good reputation for extra profit during their short tenure(s)/until the public becomes wise. I won't have any part in that sheet, and neither should you imo
true and a lot of fakes on the market, not on their official site or stores of course. Otherwise exceptional brand and clothing. Not a fan of the "inflation "in recent years that really increased prices 30% for a brand that isnt cheap
I work outdoors 12+ hours a day and I can't wrap my head around "high performance hiking wear". Just get a decent pair of boots and some old clothes (from goodwill, you must be a fool to hike in brand new full-priced clothes). Because everything is gonna get scuffed and ripped and full of holes anyway. Also, if you spend more than $30 on work gloves, you're an idiot.
Honestly this guy is like on the lower tier of attractiveness and his fashion sense is pretty questionable, why anyone would take advice from him is beyond me. (Not that I disagree with his choices). Fashion and how your dress is a personal expression of self and indentity as long as you feel comfortable, you do you!
I'd like to point out something about Armani: it is a huge company. I agree about the Armani diffusion lines such as Armani Jeans and Armani Exchange, they are obnoxious and logo-heavy...but I think the primary artistic Armani lines (Giorgio and Emporio Armani) are incredibly well-designed with tasteful materials and cuts. Armani has brought softness to men's tailoring. If you check out the jackets in a Giorgio Armani collection, they are made of soft knits, velvets, and tweeds. Not your typical menswear, which I really like. It's a more feminine approach. Armani is too big of a brand to make a sweeping statement like this.
But Armani has many lines. You showed only Armani Jeans which are their cheapest but at the same time the worst in quality and design. Next is Armani Exchange which is a little more hip and they try fun stuff. Then there's the actual real line aimed as fashion: Emporio Armani, which are more expensive but still sometimes look a lot more tailored and trendy. However, you will find that they do use a lot of synthetic fabrics, which leads to the last one: Armani Collezioni. This line is more sophisticated and often uses more high quality fabrics. The last one is Giorgio Armani, which is its high end line. So yeah you are half right about Armani because half of their lines are not worth the money and one often looks too try hard.
I wear North Face jackets, but I mostly wear them while snowboarding. They make good quality gear for various outdoor activities. Also, the jackets have lifetime warranties on them so if they get worn out then you can send them in for free repair/replacement. That being said, I agree with you. People who likely never do outdoor activities have no business wearing The North Face.
Not worth the money and not in style are completely different. I agree with your point on North face not being trendy or in style however, they have some of the best warranty including a FREE life time warranty on defect in material or workmanship. That alone makes the brand worth the money.
bojidar bokata No,I won't buy anyrthing from them other than the actual Giorgio Armani, but I may never be able to afford anything from them,so whatever......
Truth. I Sub. Sadly most people who try to make it try to sell sell sell and of course you got to make a living but I appreciate you not pushing nothing on us but giving us a chance to think Ben.
Zara made its way to popularity (I remember... yeah I'm old) by imitating designs of the high end fashion houses but at a very affordable prices. I haven't really shopped at Zara for 10 years but from what you are saying, they are now riding on their popularity and overpricing their items? From what I remember, you pay less for the same look but suffer from bad quality such as lose stitching and really bad material. Has that improved?
Noor Hussain zara in our country has the best quality i mean sometimes they are little bit less quality but I personally love zara it has a great collection and great fittings
Gonna have to disagree with you there about River Island I’ve bought several things from their and they are still in brilliant condition. Also River Island is one of the few places where I can get jeans and chinos to actually fit me properly since I have a skinny waist.
Armani...Especially Armani Exchange, was completely ruined by the Jersey Shore. Malls have since dropped most Armani Exchange stores. And really only sell Armani in Nordstroms and the like.
Somehow armani exchange obnoxious designs attract the jocks circle. Never really understand it. And most of the guys that wear the brand also happen to have gold rim sunglasses, heavy wax hair, stainless steel bracelet and tight jeans. Always cringe when I saw them walking in the streets
blooduhz I feel attacked by the sunglasses part 😂 Anyway overall, Armani Exchange is a hit or miss. Lot of their shirt designs are ugly. I don't think anyone would wear most of the patterns. But I liked a couple of their hats
I agree with you for the most part. However, I love my Doc Martens. Because I'm a thin guy with small feet I lucked out and was able to buy one of the unisex Docs in a ladies size and they are significantly less chunky. Similar in style, however. For me, they have been a godsend because they help out my back pain tons! As for overpriced stuff, I would say that Roots is among them and even the "cheap" stuff at Walmart is significantly overpriced here. I live in Canda btw. So one has to be really selective if they live in Canada because of how miserably bad the prices are.
Difficult to say that functionality =/= style for North Face. Remember that plenty of menswear items (e.g. Trench coat, field jacket) were items purely for functionality, but now have timeless aesthetic.
I understand to buy a designer brand suit, in this case Giorgio Armani, most of them are really unique cut and fit well but this boy refers to the t shirts with huge Armani logo which are just branding show off, nothing special, anyways there are some of them nice most of them with brand name very minimal and hidden but most focus on Eagle symbol on them however I find that kind t shirts with huge Armani logo showing off I am here using Armani hehehelol that's a bit bad taste.
That's the point. You have a lot of cheap unstylish brands to choose from if you're a brokeboi like me. If you want to flex on some hoes or something H&M just won't do my man.
Agree with this. Doc Martens used to be good. But now some private equity firm owns them, they have shipped production abroad and jacked prices up sky high. Not worth the money IMHO.
I go out stay in my budget and buy the stuff i like, t shirts = less then 20€ , Shirts = less then 50€ , Jeans = 70£ , shoes = 100€ Fav. Brands = Levis ( casual ) Jack & Jones ( casual ) Adidas originals ( casual ) Olymp ( Formal ) Gant ( Formal/ semi formal) Selected ( Semi formal ) LP - Formals if i m in my home country Bombay shirt company Andamen shirts Shoes : Lloyd(Formal) Boots : h for hudson( only in sale), CAT Sneakers: any classic ( cheap : stans, superstars, vans , puma suede ) Watch : Seiko or skagen or fossil ( anything which works and looks decent ;) Brands i never buy Expensive watches ( i am not in segment:( ) Hyped sneakers ( i did that mistake ones never again) In general below brands from which i had terrible experience: Zara, UCB , Wrangler, LaCoste, MK , cK. Stay simple , stay humble. Sometimes i buy from h&m usually they last like 10-12 wears
EveryMan you got that one completely wrong. Dr Martens come in many different styles, allowing you to match them to almost any look you are going for. They are extremely comfortable and they last. I have owned two pair of Dr Martens in my adult life. Both lasted more than 8 years even with regular use and I am not gentle on my foot wear. The high quality of their matirials and contruction give you a huge bang for your buck. I've never had anu other boots I havr owned last as long as my Dr Martens nor be as comfortable over the life of the boots. Plus, whatever look you are going for, Dr Martens just kick it up a notch. You are just flat out wrong on this one.
chuck97ful , you just gotta know how to wear them with the right jeans. In the U.S DM been out for years. Since the 90s. I have a pair , I wear them with a slim fitt jean.

I don't know if its that old clothes thicken up but the shirts today are so flimsy and they don't hold their shape... like the thread count or thickens has gone way down
I totally agree about the big difference in quality in RL. Their button downs used to be horrible, after a few wears they'd get these permanent wrinkles and upturned collars that no amount of ironing and starch could get out. I find that in that price range Tommy and Nautica both offer more consistent quality.
It all depends on which Diesel? there are two different Diesel brands. The Italian Diesel jeans are the best jeans I have ever purchased, the quality is fantastic and they last years.
fair list, however what you are presenting is Armani Exchange which is a totally different line from Giorgio Armani. RL poloes have an inconsistent level of quality and this is confirmed from employees working there. There are 3 different lines which are still sold as an unique piece basically.
I hate Levi's. I haven't bought any for 25 years plus after reading the labels and finding out they were made in Turkey And no the weren't fake as I bought them in a levi's store. I had a pair I bought for a vintage store that were American made. But since the I been hooked on Carhartt, though they can be a pain to find the right style. Dickies 874s are my favourite too.
Lévis have lost it on quality control.... even within their own brand there are variations in fit depending where they are made i.e: Bangladesh, Mexico, Vietnam ....
Think you had a point for all of these except DMs. They are a great long lasting boot that can actually look really good with a variety of outfits.its all about how to style around them
The only thing I disagree with was you said Ralph Lauren is just a brand with a logo on it. Isn’t that every other brand 😂 here in the UK Ralph Lauren is a very high quality brand, just getting a t or a shirt doesn’t show the full potential of Ralph Lauren.
Superdry is the dog's bollocks. Brilliant. A little varied leaning towards tight fitting size on most items, but they produce top quality stuff outside of their shoes.
People will argue that it’s “worth the price” because of quality, but at that point the quality can only be so good that at that point it’s negligible. $20 is all you need for a really good quality t Shirt
I agree with the comments about Ralph Lauren polo and River Island. Although I totally agree with the Armani comments concerning the printed t shirts their jeans are quite good, but again expensive. my top brands are Diesel The Kooples Paul Smith Versus
John Varvatos for me. Only own one t shirt but within one year holes started to appear. Bench is another with similar quality issue. A brand I like a lot for fit and style is Hugo Boss but they’re so overpriced. I have a black jean of theirs is the most comfortable I’ve ever owned and was going to buy a second until I washed it and the dye washed out and it’s significantly less black.
your assessment of armani seems based on the exchange or jeans brands. while georgio and emporio are overpriced , to suggest they are all rubbish style , large screen printed shirts, generally terrible etc seems a bit ignorant. if you can get those two brands at outlets or on sale, and are willing to spend a bit more, you can get some amazing things, especially their made in italy stuff

I have high hopes in your channel to have similar offers and advice for European based people in the future
Lacoste is over price.
I like the north face i just like the styling
Hey guys, buys solovair instead, it's better
There is a new category of style that is happening right now, which is "technical wear". Brands like North Face, Arc'teryx Veilance are easily picked to fit in this category because like you mentioned, they are for functionality. You're right that it is not fashionable in the traditional sense, but I don't think you can discount the fact they serve their purpose much better than other brands you didn't list here, like Gucci, Hermes.
Superdry has pretty good quality, I love it's clothe style
I wear my NorthFace jacket over my polo when I'm hiking in my Docs in my Armani jeans. No idea what the other one is :D
And when I was your age I thought the same way you do now.
paul greenwood
Well said sir
All these things don't even matter, so many other important things in life to focus our attention on.
It's hard to define the moment when it happened to me. I think it's a gradual thing that you don't notice is creeping up on you....;)
We would care little about what others thought of us if we realised how little they thought it...
Brands i don't like : Balmain ,Balenciaga and lacoste
Also river island and North face are brilliant quality wise
100% agree with the Ralph Lauren inconsistency in quality. I use their brand but it's mostly specific types of fabric and I never buy at full (obscene) retail price.
I think with north face, you have to consider its moulded into street wear alongside its explorer roots. The last 2 - 3 years have seen a dramatic change in their design approach as well as collaborations with other brands. While yes I would not wear their garments while trying to look smart and presentable, for casual wear (especially in rainy England) their puffers and occasional jumpers are brilliant.
Right 👍
Your shirt is really bad as well 💁♂️
+Trinh London thanks
It looks like grandma's .table cloth
Just because it doesn’t go with your taste doesn’t make it bad 💁♂️
@@BenArthur Actually I think it looks excellent. Roll those sleeves up, nice watch and Boom! You're in babesville.
D.S. Mabrur Hyder yeah just like this video
Nah river island is quality. All their products lasts and the materials are very good and sturdy
totally agree with you. don't buy shirts that make you look like an advertising board with their giant logo brands.
I love that Ben Arthur gives great advice about style choices without trying to shove sponsored brands down your throat. His advice is unbiased and clear. Great job Ben
Avoid wearing the brand that resembles the fucking Colgate logo at all costs.
I have an Armani t-shirt that i love, its made of pima cotton has the best fit of any tshirt in my wardrobe and looks really good
About Brand does it say armarni in huge bold plus armarnis chavy
Yea Pima cotton is why I buy that brand there's other brands that use that cotton but mainly Armani or Armani exchange ( the less expensive brand ) as well but yea now i have a habit of checking shirts to see if it has Pima cotton lol
It still looks like garbage
About Brand I have a Armani hood yes it looks fuking amazing and on me but the quality is shit and that’s coming from a person who buys Armani a lot t shirts are alright but the hood of the price for what you get not worth I keep having to relace the hoodie kinda strings and put them back in which takes like 10 minutes cause it’s not like a typical jacket where the laces actually stay in
That’s because your buying the cheap range I.e Armani exchange which gets mass produced
Go emporia Armani buddy
Champion is not worth the money. 5 years ago they were sold in Walmart for 1/4 the price. The price rose when the quality didn’t.
The NorthFace isn't just for hiking it's really nice they have warm fuzzy jackets and they have very durable beanies they are very high quality.
@ΛCΞ Totally agreed
This guy looks like Chris md am I right lol XD 😂😂
Chris Innes no
😂
Great vid :)
yeah it's good for performance wear, but loads of guys wear it for pure style purposes now, which I feel isn't great! thanks for the comment!
You look and sound very much like the kid from the, "Uppercut Santa" video.
I really love Armani suits. But, that was in the 90's. Starting around 2001-2002 it started to become more about an icon than about quality and style. The last thing I bought from Armani was a tie in 2005.
I can't even remember the shirt I bought 2 months ago
+Chupick Nicolas agreed
The north face blew up in streetwear when they had a collab with supreme
Honestly this guy is like on the lower tier of attractiveness and his fashion sense is pretty questionable, why anyone would take advice from him is beyond me. (Not that I disagree with his choices). Fashion and how your dress is a personal expression of self and indentity as long as you feel comfortable, you do you!
Well said 👍🏾
Imagine being insecure about the brands you wear
I'd like to point out something about Armani: it is a huge company. I agree about the Armani diffusion lines such as Armani Jeans and Armani Exchange, they are obnoxious and logo-heavy...but I think the primary artistic Armani lines (Giorgio and Emporio Armani) are incredibly well-designed with tasteful materials and cuts. Armani has brought softness to men's tailoring. If you check out the jackets in a Giorgio Armani collection, they are made of soft knits, velvets, and tweeds. Not your typical menswear, which I really like. It's a more feminine approach. Armani is too big of a brand to make a sweeping statement like this.
don't wear doc martens if you're german
wtf
@@deutschetelekom2096 skinheads
How about clothing brands that has low price but superb quality? Can you make a video about that?
Claud Ka Kei Yeung Armani Exchange is the cheapest Armani Label not AJ
RRR 949 oh sorry I haven't really bought from these two, thanks for the correction
Claud Ka Kei Yeung The rest of what you said though was spot on! Completely agree brother👍
Ive bought an awesome nroth face 100% waterproof and really warm and stylish for not even a 250$ .. For winter jackets its a awesome brand
Where was Gucci on this list
Aasim Mahmood and Tom Ford--ridiculously over-priced, especially his skin-care products!
Aasim Mahmood it’s high quality
Unii but its still fucking shit
I wear North Face jackets, but I mostly wear them while snowboarding. They make good quality gear for various outdoor activities. Also, the jackets have lifetime warranties on them so if they get worn out then you can send them in for free repair/replacement. That being said, I agree with you. People who likely never do outdoor activities have no business wearing The North Face.
Buys a pair of Doc Martins for Christmas, watches a video of how they’re “bad” a couple days later 😂😭
TheNorthFace doesn't make any stylish clothes in my opinion, looks terrible.
Not worth the money and not in style are completely different. I agree with your point on North face not being trendy or in style however, they have some of the best warranty including a FREE life time warranty on defect in material or workmanship. That alone makes the brand worth the money.
Will_one_shot_fragrances IG clarity: those warranties can be eliminated like REI did last year (No shade)
I think The North Face makes some very good winter jackets, but everything else I personally avoid
there is huge diffrence between armani jeans and the other lines of the brand
bojidar bokata No,I won't buy anyrthing from them other than the actual Giorgio Armani, but I may never be able to afford anything from them,so whatever......
And He Talk About Ralph Lauren. This Guy Is A real Joke.He Don't Know The Brand
Truth. I Sub. Sadly most people who try to make it try to sell sell sell and of course you got to make a living but I appreciate you not pushing nothing on us but giving us a chance to think Ben.
You can add Zara to it as well, very poor quality and the prices are like £40 for a shirt. You'd rather get a tm lewin or Charles tyrwhitt shirt.
Zara nearly made the list!
+Noor Hussain
LOL, Zara are standard prices in my country
Zara made its way to popularity (I remember... yeah I'm old) by imitating designs of the high end fashion houses but at a very affordable prices. I haven't really shopped at Zara for 10 years but from what you are saying, they are now riding on their popularity and overpricing their items? From what I remember, you pay less for the same look but suffer from bad quality such as lose stitching and really bad material. Has that improved?
Noor Hussain zara in our country has the best quality i mean sometimes they are little bit less quality but I personally love zara it has a great collection and great fittings
Sinaan Sm you cause in India you all buy clothes off of the strest
Gonna have to disagree with you there about River Island I’ve bought several things from their and they are still in brilliant condition. Also River Island is one of the few places where I can get jeans and chinos to actually fit me properly since I have a skinny waist.
Who the Fook is this guy ???
He is my uncle Vishwanathan karupu thambi nayakar
@@omerfarook2440 that's fit well with this video owner tho, thanks
The north face got all that quality shit and the supreme collabs killed it, y’all don’t understand how dope it is
Armani...Especially Armani Exchange, was completely ruined by the Jersey Shore. Malls have since dropped most Armani Exchange stores. And really only sell Armani in Nordstroms and the like.
Mr. Fett Esq. the Armani exchange sneakers I own are terrible quality
Somehow armani exchange obnoxious designs attract the jocks circle. Never really understand it. And most of the guys that wear the brand also happen to have gold rim sunglasses, heavy wax hair, stainless steel bracelet and tight jeans. Always cringe when I saw them walking in the streets
blooduhz I feel attacked by the sunglasses part 😂
Anyway overall, Armani Exchange is a hit or miss. Lot of their shirt designs are ugly. I don't think anyone would wear most of the patterns. But I liked a couple of their hats
The most overpriced brand is Phillipp Plein. Bad quality t-shirts that costs 400 dollar and up to 900.
the guy with a $20 button up is talking about style.
So poor that you think style has to do with money.
I worked at river island. It’s shit 😂
TheCroneGamer I’ve tried their black jeans it’s good, compared to Topman (their jeans fit weirdly) and H&M (the color fade easily)
@TheCroneGamer my condolence!
cyberpunk 97' aight
And there was me thinking the quality of River Island clothes was actually decent. I still think H&M clothes quality along with Primark is terrible.
Difficult to say that functionality =/= style for North Face. Remember that plenty of menswear items (e.g. Trench coat, field jacket) were items purely for functionality, but now have timeless aesthetic.
Armani is definitely one of the best fashion brands in the world right now
no
LOL
I cant say I disagree with any of this. Buy for quality not logo unless you are getting paid to wear it!
Apparently this guy has never worn a high end Armani suit.
+Lucifer Sam apparently this guy isn't an idiot with money
Lucifer Sam , pal even in Armani you will look like a limo driver!
I can afford high end suits and I would never buy Armani.
EveryMan that's because you only wear shirts your mum buys you out of Tesco. Come back when you're allowed more pocket money ; )
Honestly people buy expensive clothes because they’re kinda exclusive and people will recognize that you spend quite a bit on a t shirt
Versace makes hideous overpriced clothing.
Ozzy Meck amen! Maybe because Donatella Versace's face could stop a clock?!
Michael Miller Savage 🕛💀
That's the point. You have a lot of cheap unstylish brands to choose from if you're a brokeboi like me. If you want to flex on some hoes or something H&M just won't do my man.
Depends...
Terrible quallity as well
Agree with this. Doc Martens used to be good. But now some private equity firm owns them, they have shipped production abroad and jacked prices up sky high. Not worth the money IMHO.
Ralph Lauren Is good quality 😂
Liam Nagle you don't know good quality
Can’t tell if being sarcastic
I go out stay in my budget and buy the stuff i like, t shirts = less then 20€ , Shirts = less then 50€ , Jeans = 70£ , shoes = 100€

Zara, UCB , Wrangler, LaCoste, MK , cK.
Stay simple , stay humble.
Sometimes i buy from h&m usually they last like 10-12 wears
Bro did you just diss dr martens :o
+chuck97ful yes mate
DMs are the Daddy. From bikets to punks and now hipsters. You can't go wrong with a pair of DMs.
chuck97ful , you just gotta know how to wear them with the right jeans. In the U.S DM been out for years. Since the 90s. I have a pair , I wear them with a slim fitt jean.
don't sweat it, the guy doesn't have a clue, youtube is the platform where the clueless scream out misinformed opinions as facts and only love heart comments that are inline with their clueless theory's, just picture a tube with one end attached this guys brain and the other attached to hes rim piece BAM there you go its a closed loop this is what youtube is becoming
I don't know if its that old clothes thicken up but the shirts today are so flimsy and they don't hold their shape... like the thread count or thickens has gone way down
Now This is called the Real info . .... Thanks man.. Waiting for more videos
I totally agree about the big difference in quality in RL. Their button downs used to be horrible, after a few wears they'd get these permanent wrinkles and upturned collars that no amount of ironing and starch could get out. I find that in that price range Tommy and Nautica both offer more consistent quality.
😂 are north face not aloud to have a lifestyle line of clothing then, in your opinion 🚨
I only buy Ralph Lauren when they are running a sale. I find there polo shirts keep there colour and shape better than any other brand I've tried.
Diesel for sure..
good shout!
It all depends on which Diesel? there are two different Diesel brands. The Italian Diesel jeans are the best jeans I have ever purchased, the quality is fantastic and they last years.
Jason Mcdermott yeah i also love my diesel jeans, probably the best i've ever purchased but i do agree that most of their clothing is overpriced
Diesel jeans are the best
Diesel is my favorite brand for jeans, Overpriced yes but amazing quality.
fair list, however what you are presenting is Armani Exchange which is a totally different line from Giorgio Armani.
Steve Cranna I hâte everything Lévis!
Lévis have lost it on quality control.... even within their own brand there are variations in fit depending where they are made i.e: Bangladesh, Mexico, Vietnam ....
Levis Vintage Clothing LVC 1947 selvedge, most regular/straight fit jeans are based on the 1947 shape. LVC is the only Levis worth investing in.
Agreed Armani is a rip off. No T shirt should be worth $40 or $50
Stevens Tabares and it STILL looks like a 'rag'!
But Saint Laurent
People will argue that it’s “worth the price” because of quality, but at that point the quality can only be so good that at that point it’s negligible. $20 is all you need for a really good quality t Shirt
Exchange or Jeans are a rip off. Giorgio Armani, Emporio, or Collezzioni are not. Though there still will be good and bad items within each brand.
Great points. Great video. Subscribed!
+kitano georgi thanks Kitano!
This guy deserves much more subscribers! Anyways i still love the fact the way he puts his efforts even after knowing his reach is way below average.
I agree with the comments about Ralph Lauren polo and River Island. Although I totally agree with the Armani comments concerning the printed t shirts their jeans are quite good, but again expensive.
my top brands are
Diesel
The Kooples
Paul Smith
Versus
Dr Martens is not for everyone. Including you.
Supreme should have been on this list. 😂😂
No
your assessment of armani seems based on the exchange or jeans brands. while georgio and emporio are overpriced , to suggest they are all rubbish style , large screen printed shirts, generally terrible etc seems a bit ignorant. if you can get those two brands at outlets or on sale, and are willing to spend a bit more, you can get some amazing things, especially their made in italy stuff
I only wear the armani tshirts with the small logo on the chest
good man!
What about 11 degrees, Siksilk, Gym King, and Sinners Attire?
