I am listening to this video wearing my Sony CRE-C10's, but I am always on the lookout for that perfect device to eliminate the background noise, so keeping up with the competing devices is paramount. Thanks for the update on Eargo products.

@@HearSoundly Well… dollar for dollar, they are the best OTC on the market. I have returned 3 other devices, including the Jabra enhance. They are simple to use, affordable, invisible and high quality sound. I just really really want something that eliminates background noise in noisy restaurants, but I think that with some AI integration will make future OTC devices amazing… until then, these Sony’s do great for my mild hearing loss.

How would you compare the sound quality to listening to music? Would it be on par with Samsung earbuds or Apple Airpods? I actually sell Eargo products. Before I buy a pair I'm curious to hear how they sound.

Are you asking about the quality of the streaming from LINK or just the general sound quality from the Eargo 7 and SE?

I'd like to know how the Eargo SE compares to the older Eargo 6.

Personally I would go with Eargo SE. The sound quality should be more advanced in SE, and the battery is a bit stronger in SE. The only tradeoff is that 6 has a slightly more premium case (mostly in the way it feels).

Can the 7 use streaming from a tv?

It cannot. Eargo 7 has a TV mode but that will just pick up TV frequencies over the air vs streaming them. At the moment, there are no devices this size don't offer streaming from any brand. Here's hoping for that innovation in the future!
