    The frontage doesn't evoke transport. It instead brings to mind a heart monitor as someone slips into cardiac arrest in an episode of Casualty.

    It's always a tough pill to swallow when you realize a building looks less impressive from the ground than from above. It's a very deep pain of betrayal. A betrayal worth talking about for 10 minutes. I hope they demolish it and rebuild it with Limmy in mind.

    It’s not the Transport Museum, it’s the Riverside Museum. Distinct lack of riversides on display, I felt. I could only find the one they keep out back.

    Before I watch can I take a guess.
    While you used to be able to get up close and take a good look at all the vehicles in the old museum now they’ve stuck most of them on shelves or the roof and you’d need binoculars to actually get a proper look.

    We used to love the old transport museum.
    I was always getting shouted at for lifting my son on to the trains as of a five year old is going to damage a 500 tonne train.
    Anyway, the old yin did have one exhibit you could actually get in.
    The old style police 'Paddy Wagon'.

    The building was supposed to have been taken from zaha Hadid's drawer and she tried to justify it saying is signified the waves of the clyde

  • @ASBO_LUTELY
    @ASBO_LUTELY 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Maybe it's meant to be a frequency wave, radio frequencies are used a lot in the transport world to figure out if busses or trains will be late or early or if they've broken down, it's not outside the realms of possiblity.

    But it's no even that. That bit's at the back. You can see it if you're on the Clyde, and none of us are. Those who come to it arrive in the car park and see the other end which is even worse. I didn't know what the other end looked like for years. Only people in Govan could see it.
