Thank you for reacting to this. Not enough reactors are reacting to this beautiful movie. The best film of 2023 in my opinion.

It really is a beautiful movie! I can see why many wouldn’t want to react as it’s a fairly slow burn movie but I’m glad I did and happy to share the experience with any who click in here

One of the best endings in film, so subtle yet so beautiful.

So true.. I stayed there sat in the cinema for a while afterwards because I couldn’t stop crying. It remind me of the ending in La La Land with that final look they give each other with the acceptance that life has simply taken them to a path where they no longer cross. So sad and heart breaking.

Love how earlier Na young is a cry baby with Hae Sung, but when they become mature and resolve it, she becomes a cry baby with Arthur showing closure subtly!! Just amazinggg!!

My personal favorite movie of the year. Every one of us have had some version of this experience in our own life. A true masterpiece.

I agree. I think the reality of this movie and it's connections and the awkwardness elevate this movie. A great watch

Fun Fact, the scene where the two men meet for the first time, is the first time the actors see each other face to face in the real world as well. That was intentional to aid in the realism (info taken from interview)

thank you for reacting ❤ this is my favorite movie of the year, i loved your assertion about the realistic quality incorporated throughout the film. i didn’t get emotional on my first watch but i kept thinking about it for days after seeing it so i had to watch it again and then i got super emotional. i loved the camera they shot with, the cinematography, and the casting. 10/10!

Yesss, I have not stopped thinking about this movie. It lingers. I loved that it didn't try to play on big serotonin moments to fill the void.

This won "Best Feature" the Gotham Awards. Off to a good start! Its fun to wonder if Arthur actually knew every single word Nora and Hae Sung were saying since he's been studying Korean but just didn't let them know he knew what they were saying.

Whenever I watch that scene in the bar at the end, I can't shake off the feeling that the husband understends at least 50% of what they're saying. Especially because he said he's learning Korean... just the way he looks when they're talking about kids and shi.. he looks so hearbroken. 10/10 movie for sure, I'm glad critics rated it high as well, but sadly general public is not really aware of this movie.

yes i think he is way more aware than he lets on. Which is the heart crushing part of it, he knows and he still stays.
