  • Learn to work Tunisian crochet in the round with a double-pointed crochet hook or Tunisian crochet hooks connected with an extender cable. This tutorial shows Tunisian simple stitch, but this technique can be used with a wide variety of Tunisian crochet stitches to make interesting designs!

The ad that brought me to your site said with cables and two hooks attached!

You can also do this with cables Tunisian hooks. If you don't have two of the same size, you can use two close sizes without too much trouble on this pattern

So this is helical right? Is there a way to do rounds that meet then start again or would that leave a seam?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean... Do you mean like joining every round?

@@KickinCrochet yes- that’s what you’d normally do with traditional crochet. But with Tunisian is there a way to do that or is crocheting continuously better?

Definitely continuous for Tunisian, though I agree I like to join and turn for regular crochet

Ah too bad i was looking for someone doing a tutorial for the two crochet Tunisian hooks attached with a cable. Its hard to find those, double ended crochet hooks appear to be more common. Do you prefer the double ended hook to the two crochet hooks? It seems to be preferred. I do Tunisian so im sure its easy to grasp but i was curious about both other methods and if it would make the ‘wrong side’ appear similar to the ‘right side’ since im not a fan of the appearance of the ‘wrong side’ when doing the Tunisian simple stitch or moss/linen stitch.

It really depends on the project. I would generally prefer connected by a cable for a larger project so I don't have to turn the project around as often, but it's really just a matter of preference. :)

Somehow my Tunisian crochet in the round got turned around and I had to crochet everything on the inside, if that makes sense. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you're saying what I think you're saying, then since it's a cylinder, you can just push the fabric through the hole where you're crocheting to make it right side out.
