You say "Ball" 34 times :D (thanks youtube transcript feature!!) btw.. you didn't mention Lugbulk! That's by far the best way.. but you need to join a lug, and participate in regular exhibitions!
Thanks! Paid $1 each today, Feb 2020, for the plain white on Bricklink. Prices continue to go up! The white with purple logo were about $.75 but I'm not a fan.
I think a video on alternatives would be a great resource as well. Quercetti marbles, and what I use, 14mm plastic pearls, could work well for those who cannot get 30 official Lego balls. Glass marbles of the right size could stress test a module too.
Great resource here! As someone who's tried a lot of things I wish I had seen this when I was first getting started. I got Quarcetti plastic marbles from Amazon.it which are a good deal, and some silicone beads from China that I never even tried as they were the right size but too heavy and felt a little gummy which never worked right.
You can also get some GBC balls from Amazon here: www.amazon.com/Brick-Loot-Soccer-Contraption-Machine/dp/B08375L2KP/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=lego+gbc+balls&qid=1592176738&s=toys-and-games&sr=1-1
No, the balls included in that book are larger than GBC balls. (We call them zamor spheres. part: 54821) You could use them to build something like a simple conveyor lift, they would get stuck in most other GBC modules.
Great video -- I do have one question, though. At th-cam.com/video/lyKSJ0lU7pE/w-d-xo.html you can see three ball option on the lego website, including balls with a diameter of 14 mm and 14.2 mm. Which is the "official" size for GBC?
I've noticed this, but I do not know the answer. I think the last time I looked there was 5 or so balls listed under that part number. I am just going to guess that all the unprinted soccer balls are the same size.
In the netherlands on the Lego website they are only 28 cents buy should only buy from There If you want to get lost of then because the shippinb is expensive
How many times do I say Ball(s) in this video 🏀⚽️🤔

Rohan Beckett I'm not in a LUG so I can't speak on LUG bulk.

Do the chain reaction balls from the book set thing
work?

Oh yeah, and there's PV productions.
You can get 100 balls for about $22 from Brick Loot: www.brickloot.com/products/white-soccer-balls-for-gbc-great-ball-contraption-fits-lego-balls
Balls , Balls, Balls ,Balls .....
i think bricklink is the best way
Yaa
You don't have to use official Lego balls. Quercitti balls are exactly the same size and weight, and I got 100 for 6 dollars.
Except that they don't ship in some countries...
These balls are massively overpriced. Freakin dollar each.
Yeah and you need 30 of them
I got 5 for 23.94 PLN i think

Hmm I use marbles only
Where can I buy it cheap
There is nothing wrong with using marbles, especially when starting out with GBC.
Marbles are bigger than gbc balls though, can't quite fit through a 2 x 2 hole
