    The most inefficient way to move a Lego ball 40 centimeters across the room, yet it is just incredibly brilliant.

      Theoretically, you could to a total of four systems, using 90-degree offsets. Maybe more, but I think it would get really janky at that point. What would be really cool though, would be if you could get it to change channels, i.e. a marble goes around the track twice.

    Nice! You should feed this with the color sorter. It’s a module that wouldn’t just mix the colors again as soon as they’re sorted.

    If the double loop one was gbc
    1) It obviously wouldn't be a loop
    2) You could tie it into the ball sorter and make it to where the different colored carts only carry a certain type of ball.

  • @pauldeddens5349

    On an an actual GBC, you could use this as a bit of an X crossing. The first pass takes it through with the ball hopper ramp dropping it onto another GBC stage. And then later on many stages later it places the balls back into this, but on the second portion that continues to drop balls on the next GBC stage.

    Those systems have a good concept for a new ride at an amusement park. The passengers will sit in one of many cars being pushed up onto the track, then going through all the turns several times, and then the ride is over when the passengers will be pushed back down to the station. The smaller system would be a good start, then it should be worked to add the bigger layouts in the future.

    • @keithstransitexperiences9749
      @keithstransitexperiences9749 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Btw, I think I saw you doing some sort of "retracking" to make a bigger version with the goal. The first version is just like the small orange track, the second version is the purple continuous track, and the third version uses both tracks having a goal that the machine on the finish to move you back to the station The next modification, which is the fourth version uses two lifts and a goal, so when the ride reaches the goal, it would have a machine on that track to move you back to the station. The fifth version has no goals, but the track goes back to the station. The sixth and last version uses a spiral chain lift, and has a little smaller layout with the goal, which the cars will be moved back to the station. If those rides made it to amusement parks and due to laws that those rides need modifications causing the ride to close unexpectedly, and nothing works or there is no work because the park doesn't know what to do, they could:
      1) Start from scratch after taking down the track
      2) Retrack the ride completely after taking the ride apart, using another concept generation or at least doing the bare minimum
      or,
      3) Relocate the ride to where it won't have strict laws.

  • @danieleckert5008

    you could add two more arms to every rotor and double the amount of carts...

I can see a bar circulating underneath, I can see that it pushes a piston upwards, do you use a rubber band and a lever of sorts to keep the ball in place until the next one pops up underneath it?
