Hi Zach! Your video gave me confidence to rip the tempered glass protector off my iPad. It was too glossy and glidy and I'm glad to be able to use the smooth bare screen.
It's really crazy, I just realized I do most of those things without thinking about it, eg. I love to talk about my study topics, so I often have to explain those very simple. And also I often try to find further Information about my study topics because it helps me to fit the important information in an whole concept.
I’m going into uni this year and I just saw that I have lessons from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. It takes about 2 hours for me to get home, change, eat and rest before I can even imagine studying again. By then it’s already 8:00 PM. I know how fast those lectures can go in uni and I can’t imagine being able to take enough notes during one to even remotely get what the lecture was all about. So I know that eventually at some point I’d have to take the time to summarise my lectures. I also know I can’t summarise in the weekends cuz if I want to practice active recall, I’d have to revise and actually study what I’ve summarised in the weekends. So that leaves me only with buisness days. The problem is that I’m not sure if I can keep up summarising a whole day of lectures in just two - three hours of time every week from monday to friday. I wanna work smart. What is the most realistic scedual anyone can offer someone who wants to make summaries and practice active recall with the little amount of spare time that I have?
*Most great accomplishments were achieved by the people, who at first had no idea what they were doing.* Keep going my friend. I am cheering for you. 🙂🖤
What do you do to connect ideas exactly? Do you just free-hand it while studying a topic and make an anki card about it? Do you have a video about it? I’d love to get your input.

How can one study without falling asleep? I try to study after work, or before work, but I just get so sleepy sometimes, idk what are your favorite coffees or ways to stay energized? I would really appreciate your thoughts on that! Thank you!
That’s probably you didn’t get enough sleep at night. One way i always do is try to establish a good sleep schedule. I don’t think studying right after work would be effective. Maybe you can take some rest after work before studying
I use the Pomodoro Method for 25 minutes of study and 5 minutes break but the funny thing is I get so concentrated after 3 to 4 periods and forget the method and study so long with no breaks. It looks productive however it really drains in the end when I started to rest. I need help XD.

And Bill Gates also wasn't Feynman student, he didn't finish his higher education and wasn't even studying physics. Bill Gates admires Feynman (you can watch a video on Gates' channel about this) but he wasn't his student.
Interesting I usually re-wrote notes from an earlier class and thought that helped. I’m trying some certifications now so I’ll try the testing method. Makes sense since your mind is immediately trying to recall some information

6. 12:11 - Make Connections: Stems from Hebbian Theory (The More Connections we make to a piece of information, the more likely it is we retain that piece of information for a longer period of time): Make connections to the topic you're learning and connect to other topics you are learning (i.e. Make connections between facts and information in your brain)
7. 13:00 - Plan: Plan Ahead, and be as specific as possible when planning, and plan for the next day, never plan on the day off for the day of
8. 14:15 - Mnemonic Devices:
Associate Certain things you have to memorize with certain places (e.g. the printer is on the stove); Useful for memorizing facts;
Use Acronyms to help yourself memorize certain things
Use Acrostycis which uses the first letter of a set of words to memorize something (similar to acronyms)
Chunking the information into more manageable blocks (e.g when memorizing a phone number, you chunk it into groups of 3 or 4 numbers instead of 1 big group of 10 numbers)
The video is amazing
Not even exaggerating
Explained all the study techniques so amazingly
Do a video talking about why you choose to become a doctor, even further talking about what was your calling for this and vocation.

Me: oh…

I also like your other content and I am super happy I discovered your channel at it's begging and I can't wait to see what you'll do next!
Some of your advice for how to study more efficiently was really good and I already see results!

Zach, your videos are saving me during nursing school! Especially your Anki videos. Thank you for your videos and most importantly your sense of humor
Thank you! This is the video that I've been waiting for the most since you mentioned it in your last video before your hiatus. I definitely needed it.
omg zach seriously was thinking about you... I mean when you are gonna upload your next video and as just now I opened my youtube, and saw your video , after watch it ,felt over welmed . Yaar you are really very connective .....
The thing that helped me the most was using past tests or tests from the other class of the same subjects, sometimes the teachers use the same questions and sometimes they take questions exactly or concepts from questions from years in the oast

Zach, I love your content! You have quickly become one of my favorite youtubers in the last year. I’m really excited for the video on Notion! I’ve used it a little but would love to see how to maximize all that it is capable of!

May not be necessary, however, you may have mispoken the wavelengths of different visible light. The red lights has the longest wavelength, which is why stoplights have red lights to indicate "STOP" because our eyes could discern the light more from a distance compared to lights with shorter wavelnegths, such as the violet light. I am pointing this out to prevent any further misinformation in your video, considering they are helpful and well-thought. You are welcome :)
What helps me to signal my body that is it stidy-time is putting up a timer. I personally use the app "forest" qhere it digitally plants trees during your study time. I put up a timer for, say, 2 hrs. Then when I look at phonr at a text or something and see the timer is still going I remind myself to put my phone away and concentrate.

I kind of anticipated the "getting the USMLE book from the fridge" part 😂
your production quality is really amazing

You are so good! I'm trying to learn data science in my spare time and your videos have been helping me. Thank you so much!
Congratulations Zach! You are a real inspiration to budding aspirants like me... Keep up and many more to come🍬🍬😁😁
Best video ever.. Thank you

Wow first sponsor , congrats! Grammarly really is great too, I used it all throughout high school and undergrad and it never fails lol
What do you do to connect ideas exactly? Do you just free-hand it while studying a topic and make an anki card about it? Do you have a video about it? I’d love to get your input.

@@creedorian No one asked Jesus to die on the cross for our sins either, but He did it anyway, knowing we'll never know what it cost Him. He already suffered your judgment for your sins, so you don't have to. There's no other name by which we can be saved. I hope you see His love and kindness in that and you turn to Him.

epic. i find it so easy to study. this guys a genius. before this video i took days of work to study, now i can study more efficiently
Study for short intervals. Longer sessions are guaranteed to make you drift off.
Thanks for sharing, gonna apply it to my study pattern.
I use the Pomodoro Method for 25 minutes of study and 5 minutes break but the funny thing is I get so concentrated after 3 to 4 periods and forget the method and study so long with no breaks. It looks productive however it really drains in the end when I started to rest. I need help XD.
Maybe you can try what he recommended and do the 1 hour study / 10 min break, I know some people take more time to get into the studying mode
I do either 45 min study/15 break or 60 min study/15 break
Einstein wasn't a student of Feynman, Einstein was 63 when Feynman ended his degree. And Bill Gates also wasn't Feynman student, he didn't finish his higher education and wasn't even studying physics. Bill Gates admires Feynman (you can watch a video on Gates' channel about this) but he wasn't his student.
He didnt they were Feynman students, he meant it about his lectures
