The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

it was very difficult. But I knew it would be. This realization was the best "encouragement" for any effort I made during my medical and surgical education:
"Unlike other subjects I have had to study, this one is the most IMPORTANT. I must actually LEARN this, because this is what I am going to do."
Psychologically, if you truly understand that you must LEARN something to benefit humankind, it is both easier to learn and more gratifying when you do.

This video brings me back to when I was studying in America and it was as easy as doing 20 problems or making some flash cards. Unfortunately, in other parts of the world it’s not so simple: so little of the study material is curated that you spend 90% of your time trying to figure out WHAT to study. The remaining time is devoted to cramming before the exam, and we all know how well that works.

Take notes by asking question and answering, this will make you, Explain concepts in a simple way and active recall (closed book) (understanding + memory). Continue to build memory by using spaced rep.

Hello sir. I would like to ask you a question:
Are all those methods viable in high school, where there are still some limitations like not allowing electronics in class, or being forces to taking notes? Specially refering to space repetition and active recall with anki. Should I create new frashcards or study by the notes I already have?
    Thank you :D

I’m going into uni this year and I just saw that I have lessons from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
It takes about 2 hours for me to get home, change, eat and rest before I can even imagine studying again. By then it’s already 8:00 PM.
I know how fast those lectures can go in uni and I can’t imagine being able to take enough notes during one to even remotely get what the lecture was all about. So I know that eventually at some point I’d have to take the time to summarise my lectures.
I also know I can’t summarise in the weekends cuz if I want to practice active recall, I’d have to revise and actually study what I’ve summarised in the weekends.
So that leaves me only with buisness days. The problem is that I’m not sure if I can keep up summarising a whole day of lectures in just two - three hours of time every week from monday to friday.
I wanna work smart. What is the most realistic scedual anyone can offer someone who wants to make summaries and practice active recall with the little amount of spare time that I have?

It's really crazy, I just realized I do most of those things without thinking about it, eg. I love to talk about my study topics, so I often have to explain those very simple. And also I often try to find further Information about my study topics because it helps me to fit the important information in an whole concept.

Thank you so much for this video! How do you incorporate active recall with ANKI/flashcards & practice exams if you didn't get to review and do the passive parts of studying? Do you only fill in the gaps based on the questions you see? Thank you! I'm still stuck on this because I feel like I have to read & review all the materials first before getting to the questions and by then, I don't have that much time left because of the amount of information we covered. :(
