I loved the pictures. If its ever possible, go to the beach either at night or first thing in the morning, when no one is around, and just listen to the surf. It's magical.
I love doing just that. I went to Zanzibar and I'd start walking to the beach( 10 minutes away) just before dawn. I would watch the sun rise over the horizon. I've seen the ocean a turquoise jewel color a sky blue, blue, grey even emerald! The ocean would be different colors depending on weather and season. But I remember one time when the sea was "choppy' and as the sun rose it was a kind of " gun metal grey" then as the waves reflected the sun's rays, the tips of the waves had a gorgeous shiny peach color as the waves danced towards the shore. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I've never seen the ocean, any ocean that color before. There were warnings not to swim though.
I love watching you guys going on road trips. Also thanks to Armando for all the work he has put in, over the time he has been here. Wishing him luck with whatever he is going to be doing now. He will be missed on the channel.
We did this route two months ago after leaving Yosemite. We started in Monterey and went South. We stopped to see the seals at sunset and it was brutally cold and windy but so stunning!

I looked it up cause I am from Germany and the architecture of the houses just look like many old villages and towns over here, so I was curious if there would be an Original town named Solvang over here, too. Just by name it could have been in Bavaria somewhere...But well, it's founders came from the North ;)
a couple years ago my mom and i did a similar trip like this on highway 1, except we went south from SF to san diego. we actually stopped at all the places you did so far (possibly even the same restaurant in morro bay? when we were there it was so foggy that we couldnt see the rock LOL). this video reminds me a lot of those good times & beautiful views, hope yall have a great trip too!!

The area where you said it feels like Disney's world ( 9:15 ) is similar to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. If you ever went there, you'd notice that it's like there. Especially in Gatlinburg's area coming from Pigeon Forge.

He watches you also, i started watching you about two years ago and he had his accident a year ago. I introduced you to my daughter to make her not be afraid of what to expect. She watched and Learned a lot of things from you too. She also introduced you to Adrion while he was in hospital they both watch your Videos also. I love you guys. Have fun.

It was so fun vicariously traveling with you! I have been that exact route you took several times when I lived in CA. I'm sure you already heard it's pronounced Car-mell. Such a beautiful place. I was very glad to see Solvang looking so nice again, I don't know what happened last I was there but my favorite area looked run down & my favorite bakery was gone, it was also on a Sunday & I was just passing through. It was so fun vicariously traveling with you! I have been that exact route you took several times when I lived in CA. I'm sure you already heard it's pronounced Car-mell. Such a beautiful place. I was very glad to see Solvang looking so nice again, I don't know what happened last I was there but my favorite area looked run down & my favorite bakery was gone, it was also on a Sunday & I was just passing through. You two are such a sweet couple!
