I so love the smell of horses too, Catherine! Their hair, their sweat and breath, the leather of saddles and bridles and rope, and even their poo once it’s weathered a day or so. It just invigorates my soul. I can catch a waft of it on the breeze driving along on a road and I start looking for them. It’s just SO good.
I love the little red calf , you should name him “ Dexter” so you’ll always remember their breed and name the black one “ Ireland “ so you’ll always remember where their breed comes from ! I love them Catherine congratulations 👏👏!!
I’m so excited for you. I could see the joy in your heart and soul being there and with the beautiful mare 🥰. I’m glad you enjoyed the trip. She was as in love with you as you were with her. Can’t wait to see them again. Farm on ❤ You should have a conference call with big ol Moo Man from Cog Hill and he will let the babies know to be good 😂
You remind me of my precious "Gramma Miner", she passed away when I was 16. She was a lady that could do everything. She would harvest, deer, fish, cook, clean, yard work & garden. All things the old-fashion way. Nothing modern. I am 77 so that was a long time ago. Great memories.
I'm so glad you're getting two babies! They will be so happy at G&G! That horse really seemed to like you. She kept trying to smell your face. 🐴 Animals know good people.
New babies for Catherine! So exciting! The barn should be ready by the time they arrive. New silo, new and improved flooring for the stalls, a cleaer milking room - if I didn't know better I would suspect Catherine plans to spoil every resident of G&G Farms. (Not that I blame her, of course! )
Oh I hope so! A mule, a herd of goats, a couple of cows, a couple of emus and a couple of dogs. Followed by chickens turkeys and peacocks. What a mess!❤️❤️❤️
What a gorgeous little red baby! Two more animals, Catherine.....how do you manage it all? You amaze me! And the horse!....so sweet! Too bad you couldn't take her home. Just the idea of the smell of horses makes me wheeze. Cursed with allergies, and I would have given anything to have a horse and cows and donkeys and emus et al.🥰I appreciate your channel to enjoy the animals vicariously.
Talk to Mr. Green fellow viewer. I don't want the cattle owners'animals unprotected but Catherine needs a bigger horse for bigger animals to protect ;)
What I would give to be in your shoes that day! I would love to have a small hobby farm but I’m almost 69 and hubby will be 72. We have no experience, plus we’d have to sell our home because we live in an HOA. Last summer we spent over five weeks in AL and fell in love with it. At the time, my daughter and son-in-law lived there. But the moved up to NC and my sister lives there as well. So if we do sell this house, we will move to NC but we will spend a lot of time camping in AL. That horse was beautiful and so were those bull calves! - Sue in AZ
So Happy for You ALL the way around. New Cement floors and Two New Babies to Love. Going start calling You Brooke..LOL . For a little I was wondering is she bring Jason & Brooke New Animal?? Nope her own..LOL Great seeing Ya and You keep Farm On!!
Catherine, the bull calves are so beautiful. The reddish brown one has the most beautiful brown eyes, wonder if they will stay brown, and the black one his hair looks like velvet, so dark and shiny. You sure did make a friend with the horse, that would be so awesome if you could get it too and then Nellie would have an equine friend to look up to and make friends with. I'm sure she loves the donkeys already but that horse is awesome, she fell in love with you fast.
Oh my goodness ! I think Nellie is gonna have so much fun with her new friends. ( once the green eyed monster subsides) lol They are beautiful . God Bless your lil farm on the Prarie. 💯🙏❤🇺🇸

I’m so happy that you are doing it, you have one and can’t wait to see the others start to move. Then, the chirping!!! Please keep us updated!!! ❤❤❤
You are always up to something at G&G Farm. Nellie really be showing out if you bring that horse back hahaha . Beautiful Bulls how fun! The concrete is gonna be so awesome for you and happy you’ll be able to use all the stalls now in increments weather!👍
“Milking” the bull calves, is what I thought you were saying! Haha. Glad you clarified milking goats. Stalls look great. Love watching dexter cattle over on “just a few acres farm.”
Nice calves. And since calves generally need milk for the first six to eight months, you'll want to either bottle feed or pan feed milk. That should get them nice and gentle. 💖💖💖

Maybe a French drain around the barn, od something like it? That brown baby said, "Momma said never talk to strangers!" What possessed you to get large animals? Are these bulls going to fight when they get older for dominance, or will one or both be castrated? Just wondering! ❤😊🙏
Just imagining this could even be a rescue situation where the bulls outcome could have been a short life, but that's pure speculation. Have a nice weekend!
Oh how cute are those 2 boys. 🥰 Especially the light coloured one. Are they going to be banded or are you going to keep them entire for breeding with later? Lorie from LG Farms has some dexter cows.
