    Love your accent, had to show my wife this is what most Nola accents sound like, not the Hollywood things

      Much appreciated! I’m not even from New Orleans, but it’s a south Lafourche/ Grand Isle accent. Real Louisiana stuff 😂

    Wow Im not gona lie Im from UK i know a lil bout louisiana new orleans but i heard of the lake cus of that video of the girl getting chucked in and i wanted to know more about the lake I never heard of it …… to my surprise i found this captivating young gentlemen who somehow managed to make a lake i never heard of that is not too interesting and made it so enganging thru how he talks. Real good storyteller. Especially when you started going off about trash cans. Very well delivered video you should consider going into longer form videos , obscure topics , Wendigoon is a good example of someone who is enganging and makes videos like i described and maybe you vould do something like that too. Just a thought

    Q: is there still a house having belonged to Marquis Pierre de Rigaud de Vaudreuil on the lake? Thanks

    • @LouisianaDread
      @LouisianaDread  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m not too sure. Where would it be around? It’s a big lake.

      @@LouisianaDread Let me see if I can narrow it down. It would have been a governor's mansion as well.

    In the 1950s and 60s shells drehged from the bottom of Lake Ponchartrain were New Orleans equvilant of gravel. Unpaved streets and shoulders of streets were covered with fresh shells regularly, one of the reasons the lake water was dirty,

    Is it true that you can see the Earth's curvature in that lake?

      A standing body of water doesn’t have the ability to show curvature on its surface.

      Camping by the mouth of the Tchefuncte in ‘79 we found a baby shark dead on the beach where it hadn’t been the day before, after we’d been wading in the area. Didn’t go in the water much after that.
