At SmartPak, horse health is at the core of everything we do. That’s why we invited Dr. Frank Andrews from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine to sit down with our own Staff Veterinarian & Medical Director Dr. Lydia Gray to talk about the research study he did on the safety of turmeric and devil’s claw on stomach health in horses. Listen to the two of them discuss how the study was performed, what turmeric and devil’s are commonly used for, and most importantly the results of the study!
Dr. Andrews has extensive experience in researching equine stomach health dating back to some of the original studies on omeprazole (GastroGard), as well as the study he performed on SmartGut Ultra (pak.horse/SGUresearch).
