I grocery shopped last weekend for the week's groceries, with kids home on vacation, and also for Christmas dinner which I am hosting. Total was a faint-worthy $889. If the economy doesn't start to stabilize, next year's family holiday dinners will have to be potluck because I can't cover that every year. I'm a widowed mom of 5.
