I bought myself a pair of these Edifier S3000 Pro's last week. After 7 days of intensive listening to them I can only say that every word Zeos has said about these is true. Probably even more than true. You can not convey in a 24 minute video what these speakers really sound like and what they are really capable of. I spent 2 months reading reviews and watching comparison video's and specs on the internet. Looked at all candidates in the price range of up to $2000 but in the end these Edifier S3000 Pro were my choice. I'll be using them for personal music listening enjoyment as well as mixing and mastering audio recordings. Thank you ZEOS for the amazing work you do. I am very grateful to you.
@@steve81937 I wish I could think of a way to convince you that I wrote what I wrote out of enthusiasm. Nobody asked me to write this reply, nobody pays me to write anything (I wish they did!). I'd invite you to my home to come, see and listen to the speakers at my place. It is however my guess that you live in the United States, and I live in The Netherlands (Europe). But don't take my word for it, just buy them from Amazon and if you don't like what you hear, just return them and buy something else. But if you do like them as much as I do, please come back here and let me know! Best wishes, Jan.
@@John_van_Kleef As someone in the Netherlands, if it wasn't for this damn pandemic I'd probably take you up on this. Although I'm eyeing the S2000's as I don't need the wireless connection and could use the savings made from that choice, I imagine they're somewhat similar.
@@Vayshen The S3000's are not just about bluetooth wireless connection. As a matter of fact, I don't use that feature at all. it's about the ribbon tweeter and the DSP controlled cross-overs. The S3000 is the only monitor this size that does NOT require a subwoofer. Officially specified as going down as low as 38 Hz, it is my experience that they go a hell of a lot lower. Soundstage and imaging are sublime too. Much better than on the S200's. I mix and master on them for professional productions. You should really come and listen to them before you make a definite decision on the S2000's.
@@Vayshen The S2000mkiii's are essentially the S3000 pros not so little brother. I splurged and purchased both the see what they were about and compared/contrasted them to swans mk200s, Klipsch, some jbls and Kali's Ive owned and the Edifiers are truly phenomenal. I ended up returning the S3000pros because I didnt feel the performance to cost ratio to the S2000mkiiis was justified. Unless you really need wireless of course. As far as bass performance is concerned they are quite surprising for a 5 1/2 driver, alarmingly so much so that I ended up putting away my beloved B&W 608 sub. I honestly feel as tho adding a sub with these just does the speakers a disservice. These have some of if not the the best articulated, fast and extended low end(dipping ever so slightly into the 20's even) Ive heard for the 400$ dollar point, even compared to some other higher end passive loud speakers nearing the 1k mark. I would even consider these over a dedicated amp/dac system, in fact I just may consider selling some of my gear because of these. Im gushing at this point but these are truly remarkable speakers, to which I was not expecting. I know people swear by a scalable/modular system, but these could be all you need, for listening and possibly monitoring. Many shun powered speakers, but Edifier is doing something incredible with these, considering they use what looks like high end quality drivers and their electronics aswell. Especially the DSP, which I feel just blows even high quality passive crossovers away. You will not regret the S2000mkiii's if you get them, needless to say
After a ton of research and watching reviews on here and Reddit, i watched your review and bit the bullet on these. I tried them in 3 different room settings (Study - on my desk, Lounge - alongside the TV on their dedicated S3000 Stands, and finally in my bedroom where I think they sound unbelievable. Once they are properly positioned and on stands and have enough room to breathe, these are arguably the best sounding speakers I've ever heard. I wholeheartedly agree with your feelings about these speakers, they truly are phenomenal and punch way above their price. The timing, depth and soundstage and not to mention the high end of those Planar tweeters are fantastic. I'm loving every minute of them.
I saw this review last year and was engaged by how you talked about these speakes, pulled the plug about 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. The video doesnt do it justice of how clear and good these sound. Thank you so much!
@@karlos543 On other platforms I've gotten quite a few responses from people who've never had a problem, but still it makes me a *little* nervous. I've got the s2000mkiii's in my home office but I can snag a pair of these, new in the box, for $399, so I'm kinda wondering how big the mistake can possibly be, here. :D
I got mine 3 days back; im awestruck with the sound these produce. Not exaggerating, but these sound PHENOMENAL. Thanks for recommending these Z, can’t thank you enough!!
Upgraded from the JBL 305p mkii's and oh my god the S3000pro's have so much power im scared to push them in my apartment for fear of getting booted out due to a noise complaint, ha. Worth every cent of the $700 I paid in Australia.

@@bones3594 yeah I had a look on there and on ebay, both seem to go on sale for around 850 direct from edifier which is pretty solid over the other retailers. Cheers for that!
Been following your channel for a while and was debating between the S2000 Pro and S3000 Pro, then finally deciding on the latter. Got them for around $420 in my country and I'm amazed with them.
Magic. That is exactly what I felt after a few hours of auditioning these speakers. I got them as desktop speakers (overkill) but after moving them back and sitting away. Oh my goodness. It's so so so clear and precise. Especially on tamil music like "Vaan" by A.R Rahman. The air in the music is rich and endless. Superb choice!
@@Ramesh_Muthusamy I have the space on my desk. But i wonder ... will they operate well if i don't have them on their stands, but have them on my desk, beside my desktop and in front of the wall?
Just got a pair of S3000 Pros delivered today. Z was not kidding. I am freakin dumbfounded, this coming from JBL 580’s and dual 10 inch subs. My brain still cannot reconcile the sound coming from these little boxes. I’ll write more once my brain calibrates.
@@sofiacucci7494 I actually ordered and compared them both directly. Short version: Edifier S3000 Pro’s win by a mile. Swans got sent back. The m300’s are veiled and don’t extend as deep or as cleanly as the edfiers. The edifiers are crystal clear sounding and just incredible to listen to. I liked them so much i bought my sister the S2000 pros by edifier and my mom the S2000mkiii. I would take either of those over the swans if i was on a budget. I honestly don’t understand how Z recommends the swans, they just aren’t very “hifi” speakers.
@@q0w1e2r3t4y5 If the extra size and cost are of no consequence to you I would say go for the Pro, they are worth the extra cost to me for the WOW factor of output, but both sound excellent. If I could only get the S2000 mkii I would not feel slighted.
This company shot into my view out of no where. I finally bought my first pair of actual speakers, the 1280DBs, and I love them. The build materials and input features at the price points for this company is unreal.
Do some eq adjustments and play with the sliders. Since I've received them from my dad, I stayed with then on neutral but a couple of days ago I played with the eq and they sound more spacious so give it a try
Yes, same here. I bought the 1280DBs and added the T5 sub from day 1 on the strength of all the reviews we've heard and hasn't regretted it in the 2 weeks since. It doesn't et as loud as my 5.1.2 Atmos system in the hall but my God it has changed the way we listen to and appreciate music, TV and movies. Thank you Edifier for pricing it so affordably. It has no reason to be this good but it is. I'm even thinking of selling my Monitor Audio/Onkyo system which cost more than 10x as much. Thanks Z for the always wonderful, detailed and entertaining reviews that helped me decide. Now, I am really intrigued by the S2000 and S3000 - they sound like phenomenal speakers. Too bad, the pro audio shops are shunning Edifier and we can't get to listen to them before buying in Singapore!
Just bit the bullet and got myself a pair after seeing this review and couldn't be any happier. These are replacing my old pair of b&w dm12 speakers. Few days after I also gave in and bought the flirc which makes my listening experience tons easier and more relaxing than needing the get up to my keyboard all the time.
I’ve owned mine for 3 years now and use them for music and movies. Zero problems. For that use I just put them in Dynamic. They sound much more lively and airy at the top and still have good bass. Mine are on stands. Sitting 3.5 meters away in a 40 square meter room with vaulted ceilings they read 85db at only 60% volume so way powerful enough for most duties. I might add an SVS 3000micro sub in the future to release them from driving to frequencies below 80Hz but that would only be icing on the cake. It’s not vital. They already sound good enough. I’m European, but live in Asia. In EU the price is around 600-700 Euros? Over here the price is just RIDICULOUS at 380 EUROS a pair!!!! The only annoying thing with the MK1 is that you can’t tell what volume they are at easily when using the remote control as they don’t have a visual display showing the volume level from 1 to 50? You have to turn them down to zero using the remote, then count the blinks on the front LED as you slowly increase volume. I think the MK2 uses an app to control EQ/DSP/volume, so a big improvement in functionality over the MK1. If they had a sub out and bass management in the app you might as well forget about KEF LS50II’s. They are 4-500% more expensive without the expensive KEF stands! Edifier might rule the world if they did the decent thing and brought out a MK3 with those added features! If I wanted an amazing system today in 2024 for music and 2.1 movies that will blow anything out of the water worth 3000 + Euros I’d go for the S3000PRO MK2’s and also the brand new WIIM Ultra wireless DAC. It has sub out with bass management AND ROOM CORRECTION! Amazing functionality with their app and constant improvements with regular updates. All that for 350 Euros!!!! Add an SVS 1000Pro sub and you have a whole wireless system for around 1600 Euros. You just won’t find better until you start spending multiple thousands. Highly recommend.👍
Vandersteen and Pass Labs formed my reference system for years, alternating with a tube setup centered around Cary Audio / Dennis Had SETs. I've had open baffle speakers, omnis, 4-ways down to overachiever bookshelves like Totem Mani2. That was my 'career' and in my 'retirement' I shopped for a 'fishing boat'. Backtrack to 2003 on a temporary job assignment to Shanghai and needed something better for the serviced apartment. I went to the local computer mall looking for a 2.1 system like Logitech or Bose computer speakers... as I walked past this mall stand, I heard an undeniable midrange neutrality that promised to sound good on any recording. The highs were smooth and extended and the bass was surprisingly deep and mud-free. A quick inspection showed a sealed subwoofer box instead of the usual ported designs in this genre. An 8in sealed sub, 4in mids and 0.75in tweeters all with amplification at 100W, 10W, 10W respectively. That was my first contact with Edifier. The price was a shock at
Edifier was founded by audio enthusiasts from what I understand. The founders and key engineers were quite active on Chinese audiophile and DIY speaker/amplifier building forums in the early-2000s when I was trying to find out more about the company. It's nice to see that their price point still beats what a capable engineer with DIY skills can make. These are an amazing value that can only happen because of the production volume and component pricing, that someone as large as Edifier can do, using their vertically integrated manufacturing.
Hello, thanks for your comment here. I just got a pair of these and very impressed with the sound quality. I have 2 doubts. I can hardly hear any difference between the sound modes like dynamic, classic etc. Secondly, I am not sure if the small display at the front bottom of the main speaker is supposed to show the name of the sound mode like dynamic classic etc. Mine doesn't and I am not sure whether there is anything wrong with the speakers. Your inputs will be highly appreciated. TIA.
I have the Edifier S2000MKIII and I love them ! Best speakers I ever had , even better than my Meridian LG 7.1 home theater system ! My next upgrade will be the S3000pro for sure !
@@andreatilli6227 My TV have headphones out so I connected them to it, I set the max volume I want to the speakers and from that point I just adjust the volume from the remote (so yes you can do that ) But I use my TV as PC monitor and for best sound I connected them by optical to the PC, and I just use my mouse side buttons to adjust the volume from windows.
Thank you for the review, it helped convince me to buy a pair. They are going for $670 AUD in Australia at the moment via an online PC retailer. That's about $470 USD. More than happy with their sound 🔊. Thanks again!
Hi Ben, I am from Darwin, good to see your comment how lucky I am haha. Would you please let me know where do you buy your pair from? which online seller?
Bought these because can't get Swan in AU. However, these are amazing. The connectivity is so easy and I am going to buy a second set to plug into the TV.
Probably seen this review a dozen times. The 3000pro finally launched in india, just ordered them at a bargain ($620) on Amazon India. Getting them in a couple of days, hope they live up to the hype.
You are correct: Got mine today. This is the most impressing activ speakers I have ever had. USB-connected to PC and the sound is just great, even at low level.
I had no idea the speakers could talk to eachother wirelessly, thanks for pointing that out! Even when knowing this, it’s difficult to find this in the specs on the websites of the retailers that sell them. Clearly an underappreciated feature. I now get why the Dynaudio Xeos were stopped 😀👍
I know right.. I had audio engines, kantos, all of the rest, worked out on a long list, and then one day I said on reddit, is there anything that connects speakers wirelessyly and one guy says,, check out edifier s3000 pro,, I was like huh¿ ,,, not only was it the wireless connection I found. I also found out about the ribbon tweeter... ps . I Don't have yet!.. how about you?
went looking for m300s for my living room after loving the m200mkiii for years, sold out everywhere. I saw the edifier s2000 mkiii which has the old umbilical the the s2000 pros did, but otherwise they seem like identical scaled down versions of these. They are now in my living room and are fantastic. I'm a bit sad since I don't have a reason to get the bigger swans but I'm not sad at the audio quality in my living room
Did you do a comparison these verses? S3000 Mii I’m curious to know what is the real difference besides the Twitter which one is the newer speaker newer iteration? and what makes the difference between either or in terms of scale of sound and dynamics I would really love to know as I can’t seem to find this information. It’s hard to find a video where people are comparing speakers simultaneously.
I bought a pair of these after long consideration & findings. The price is much more cheaper than branded speakers. The sound is so good for music & even for movies. Nvr regret my decision.
@@yuriythebest they sound really great even at low volume. BUT they have one big problem - the volume control. Even at the lowest level they are not very quiet. One more volume step is something like "normal volume", third step is a lot louder etc. You have 50 volume steps, but you will find yourself using the first 4 or 5 because everything else is LOUD! Sometimes one step is too quiet and the other is too loud. Really annoying :(
I bought the s3000pro a few weeks ago with stands, and very happy with them! I also have the r2000db, which sounds great for the price. In comparison, the s3000pro sounds more detailed at all frequencies, and surprisingly they sound very balanced between high, medium and low. (The R2000db have more pronounced bass,, without being more or better, and weak mediums). I usually listen to them in Dynamic, and they sound spectacularly good. Rammstein or Arctic Monkeys guitars and drums sound INCREDIBLE. Michael Jackson, Daft Punk, The Weeknd ... sound very crisp with stunning bass. Acoustics and Jazz music sound like live, if you close your eyes it seems that they are playing for you. Bad recordings will not sound very good but the same with any speaker in the world; But the ones that have to sound good sound better than you can expect.
@@shashanktripathi960 I mean "more pronounced bass" compared itself with the other freq, but NO more or better bass than the s3000 pro. Yeah, the s3000pro has more power, bass, and also is more detailed.
@@FontsRealisticSliders-fifa thanks, very helpful info. I'm evaluating the S3000 against the iconic LS50. The latter has much better looks, although S3000 seems to be a sweeter newer package too. Any experience comparing these two?
@@shashanktripathi960 I have not compared them face to face. They are very different, the Kef's are passive (you need more equipment) and have a very modern-cool design. The Edifier are active, with a lot of inputs and cutting-edge technology, with a classic design. The s3000pro sound great just out of the box. There is a comparison on youtube of an Airpulse a200 vs Kef x300, and I liked more the sound of the Airpulse (the person who reviewed says that Airpulse sounds very on par with the s3000 pro). The KEF would be much more expensive with extra equipment. With the s3000pro you would be acquiring the top model of the brand. The KEF ls50 are almost at the lowest range, but it is obviously a very reputable brand with many years back.
@@FontsRealisticSliders-fifa thanks, I was speaking of LS50W which is the wireless (active) version. This is very helpful though. Will have to try S3000p.
Hey mate, any chance of a side by side comparison review with the new 3000 MKii's? Like your no nonsense approach and would be quite interested in your opinion on the new version and if there has been much refinement between releases.
You need to try this one, got them and I can't stop listening with it. Pay attention what Z mentioned here. You don't need a sub-woofer; the bass resonates in a sub-sonic frequency. You can put it all around the house since it doesn't need to connect to each other. I was planning to get KEF LS50 but I got this instead. It out performs everything all that Z mentioned earlier for less money. It has a built-in USB DAC so when you connect it to a laptop or desktop or mac, the sound is amazing.
@@pedrogoncalves2948, i've been trying them in anyway i can and I have no disappointments. Because they are not required to connect each other, you have more flexibilty and of course you just need to power them up. I tried them in my bathroom (6x8) when I have my 1 hr bubble bath, just extend the pwer wires outside my door. Low volume mode with the bass and treble full and play bass boasted MTV in youtube tru my phone via bluetooth. The sound is amazing, very tight bass bouncing off my walls. Wow.. even change to mediation music and still very clear mids and highs. Even great when watching movies too.
Speakers are great, but as I owned the S2000 MKIII model and now I upgraded to the S3000 Pro, As Z said the bass develops way further than the S2000 , so you need to consider the distance from which you are going to listen to them in order to be in the sweet spot, S2000 MKIII were perfect for my couch at a distance of 3-4.5 meters , now with the S3000 , the bass is actually developing at 5-7 meters, behind me, sadly I cant move them further away, so ... please consider your listening distance before purchasing, both models sound amazing.
Thanks you for granting my request. Again Z, your passion about speakers and reviewing them gives us the right decision to purchase them. I got them right away after watching your review. Ohhh man can't stop listening to them. The low's / bass resonates in sub-sonic frequencies in different level. So amazing. Plus half the money, if you buy Elac Navis or KEF LS50. Quality construction throughout and looks high class. Truly wireless as there is no wire between left and right speakers and never had a single instance of wireless transmission dropout nor sound deterioration. Sound quality is lively and entertaining so it is not very neutral but it is great fun. Bass quality is simply amazing, tight and gob-smacking as I had not expected this in a sub £1K speakers (I live in London). Top end is energetic but never shrieky or piercing. All in all super value at under £600 (got it at £589 speakers only). Use this as a rear speaker of my Samsung N650 Sound beam (tru an optical splitter) and the combination is phenomenal / deadly / amazing, etc. WOOOOWWWWWW. Thank you Z, you're the best!!!

I use the Focal Alpha 65s together with the Audient iD14 as my Studio Monitor Setup. This is the best setup for the money I think. I also have worked with Dynaudio, Adams, Genelecs and other brands. Now I wanted have some good Loudspeakers for my living room. Since I m used to quiet neutral sound I was thinking about using Studio Monitors with SMSL DO100 DAC for TV and Bluetooth connection. But Studio monitors have a pretty small sweet spot. So I was going away from that idea. Then I looked into Nubert, Klipsch the Fives, Elac and so on until I found these. I think this is the best speaker for the money with that kind of connectivity and all in one solution. It sounds really amazing and even reviews and nothing negative to say. For other brands there where always problems or work arounds which I didnt want. I couldn't be happier with a speaker for Music listening and TV watching.
How're the tweeters and imaging in these compared to the Adam T5v's? I'd love to save up more and get a more feature rich pair of speakers, but would I be losing anything when using them for music production at a desk (generally)? Are these just as good if they're mostly used close up?
Recently bought these but read something that concerns me. Since the left speaker connects wirelessly via Kleernet, and Kleernet can stream up to 16/44.1, does that mean these speakers cannot produce audio in any higher quality than CD? I.E. streaming from Qobuz at 24/192 for example. Would love a solid answer on this but can't seem to find one.
What does everyone think of upgrading from the R1850db to this model? I love my 1850s but they've got a bit of the usual glare in the upper mid and low treble. I'm looking to upgrade the sound, but preserve the functionality, versatility, value and build quality. The M4's don't offer nearly as much on the rear apron, but what about these as a good candidate?
Clark pies , I'm with you on that decision as well because I'm in the market for a set of higher end speaker system. I actually may go with the EDIFIER Airplay speaker system because of the higher end tweeters.
I've owned a pair for about a month. Vday promotion so a bit below retail. These are worth the retail price. I've got them on either side of living room tv in a built in cabinet so didn't buy the stands. Power and clarity are next level. No brainer from my perspective, but I'm not an audiophile.
Wow wow I have recently brought the same speakers for $717 Australian and they sound absolutely amazing the only thing that would make these even better is if I could buy another set and pair them together for something truly ultimate but if you are lucky enough to get a pair of these for under $800 they are definitely the best value for money and I would buy another set in a heartbeat if I could pair another set together
@@jolewright9855 the speakers have pretty good bass depending on what volume level you want to play it at if you want the volume at medium I would turn the bass to max so you get a fairly good bass Rumble the louder you want to go I would slowly start the turn the bass back down because bass will get louder no matter what but for two speakers that do not have a sub they are quite basie and would work well in a home office
The only thing I wish Edifier did is a light wood and white combo. That way if you have light furniture it matches better. I have a cheaper pair of Edifiers in a lighter colour way and they are great. Very good value for money speakers. In Aus they are far cheaper than in the US.

Just to let you know, I've now bought these speakers and they will arrive tomorrow from Amazon, the stands will arrive at the end of October (hopefully). I will give you my honest thoughts after a serious testing of various music as well as computer settings. I will be using an optical cable to computer as getting a decent USB cable of 5metres was more expensive than optical cables.
@@mctoastangry3568 worth every penny is all I can say. Very clear sound, bass very clean and responsive and mids well represented. I really enjoy listening to music now, very good sound stage on Dynamic Mode. Also use the USB connection for PC and set 192,000hz Studio Quality to take advantage of the HD audio. Use optical cable to TV is the other way. Also you will notice a subwoofer is not needed, they handle the low frequencies fine and with absolutely no distortion on high volume. Better sound than Kef bookshelf speakers and a fraction of the price.
I’m just an owner who has heard both. Not a professional reviewer. Sixes were cool but muddled in mids, and highs are way too sparkly. Klipsch sound outside of their high end lines at every unnatural sound. Edifier has nailed, absolutely nailed, the clarity and natural sound. With the kind of low end we get on Edifier S3000 Pro it’s almost the last thing for most apartments. It’s not audiophile-y enough (showoff value) but sound wise it easily outclasses gear from much more expensive and well known brands that have way too much fragmentation in their offerings. Monitor audio, dynaudio, KEF... why all those levels of gold and silver and whatnot? Stupid.
Hey Z , when you said keep the EQ knobs as it is, mine came with Treble at 0, and Bass at -4, shall i keep them as it is for Dynamic EQ? Please advise. Cheers mate.
I just found them new for 550€, not bad, and the stands edifier made for them for around 70€, can’t wait to get them :) i don’t have speakers at all but i’ve been on the fence on buying a pair, hoping these will do the job.
I ordered them with a discount. I am a real hardwood junkie and my only problem with this speaker is that wood on the side is imitation. However I must say that this is the best looking fake wood I saw on a product I buy and it still looks super nice. For that price, you get great bang for the bucks and if I really need wood I guess a few grands more would need to be forked out and I don't even know if it is available for pc speakers.
Thank you Z for the review. These speakers soud even better then I've expected. I was able to buy them for 460eur, thats apporx 550USD. For that price these speakers are bargain.
Dude the Swans kick the shit out of them, and they are 1100 he say that in the swan video, and if you want to spend 4400 the Buchardts are the absolute King of the powered mountain
@@nikkitomwallace2613 I know the Swans outperform these in sound quality, 2 problems here : Swans dont have the output and inputs of the Edifiers and Swans are scarce now. I would love to own the M300mkIII, M500, M3A or even the M5A but its not easy to get them.
Quick question if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. I want these speakers for my living Room 2.0 set up but I need the master speaker (R) on the left and vise versa as I have a fire place in the way and don't want to run cables all frond the front, so same set up as Z in the video. How is this done and will I lose any audio quality or anything by doing this? Master speaker will be plugged into the TV via optical and I'm looking to get a cheap streaming DAC like Chromecast Audio or Yamaha WXAD10 so I can stream my Spotify connect and Tidal, what would be the best way to connect it to the speaker. Thanks JB
@@ZachBZera thanks for the reply, would it affect the sound from the TV through optical cable like how would the TV no to switch the L/R sound to the opposite speakers . Or can you do that it TV settings Thanks JB
My second point would also be this: I also looked at the Airpulse 300 pro, but I think they might be better for music, and the S3000pro better all rounder especially for multimedia. Besides, I'm not willing to fork out more than double the money for the Airpulse, but would also be interesting to know if they are actually significantly better considering the price difference.
I am going to buy the Edifier S3000pro speakers after reading many review and also in regards to my budget. I already have the Edifier S760 5.1 sound system, this is a beast and crystal clear too, amazing for home entertainment. So I will be using the S3000pro primarily with the computer. My question is this: is the sound quality better from computer to speaker via the USB connection or would the Optical SPDIF be the better option? I have been thinking most likely SPDIF, what your thoughts? You have tested them and I think you did a very nice review, your honest answer would be highly appreciated. Thanks
These are actually work out to be $50 cheaper in the UK than the US?! Damn you Z I might have to get these. My excuse is my current actives are cutting out so they are totally fucked, cant be repaired and need replacing right away correct?
if you only need optical input for your tv dont forget the edifier 2700, 2730 or 2750 sound great lots of power lots of bass remote control bluetooth etc at a fraction of the price.
I have LSR 305's as my desk speakers, and as great as they are, they are not on the level as these S3000 pro's in the high end or the bass. I will likely grab the S3000 pro's for my TV and leave the LSR 305's on my desk.

But don't take my word for it, just buy them from Amazon and if you don't like what you hear, just return them and buy something else.
@@Vayshen beste, heb ze beide gehad en de s2000mk3 is super goed maar de S3000pro zijn toch wel een stapje beter hoor meer power krachtiger geluid de grotere driver doet een hoop. Can you review the new S3000MKII ? :)
It’s the same , i think
How they compare to the vanatoo transparent one encore?
I saw this review last year and was engaged by how you talked about these speakes, pulled the plug about 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. The video doesnt do it justice of how clear and good these sound. Thank you so much!

Just got a pair of S3000 Pros delivered today. Z was not kidding. I am freakin dumbfounded, this coming from JBL 580’s and dual 10 inch subs. My brain still cannot reconcile the sound coming from these little boxes. I’ll write more once my brain calibrates.
Did you hear swan m300 ? How edifier s3000 compare to swan ?

Highly recommend.👍
thanks for your input!
@@yuriythebest they sound really great even at low volume. BUT they have one big problem - the volume control. Even at the lowest level they are not very quiet. @@renovatio6971 i use the speakers for 2 hours and they are amazing! They are better than i was expected. However s2000pro are more smooth. Bigger speakers loose smoothness. I AM very happy with my purchase
@@pedrogoncalves2948 I had them for a month in Nearfield, they are too big for a desk and are overkill. They just have too much power for a PC / desk set up. Go for the Vanatoo Transparent One if thats what you are looking for as they are phenomenal in that setting.
@@riaadhoosain i bought them and i am happy!
i'm still rocking the S-1000 series and they're still awesome
Patiently waiting for a review on the other speakers you mention a lot in this video. What else but the Vanatoo Encore's...
They look great, Not sure about audioengine but the Kef LSX use a proprietary wireless protocol too
These are really good value. You can start your HiFi adventure with just these. No need to get an amp and a receiver.
so at the end of the day would you go for the Edifier1850's with a sub or S3000Pro's with out a sub used for TV SPEAKERS for movie / sports / and music....thx.....cheers from Canada
Nice review. They sound very nice.
I all ready bought Kef Ls 50 wireless 2 and also 2 Kef Kc 62 subwoofers for My semi truck. I will say that the Kef in the Semi truck is plentifull for music and movies.
I may have to purchase these for my office in my home these speakers i think will be perfect for that.
Great, just great! I've watched this video maybe 5 times and you've convinced me to buy these speakers that I never even knew existed, let alone needed. Thanks, thanks very much. They will be replacing KRK Rokit 8's.
Nagaoka MP-110 to Schiit Mani to Edifier S3000Pro
Came for the review, stayed and subscribed for your style. Replacing my almost decade-old HK Soundsticks with these, placed an order last night after sitting through all 25 minutes of informative comedy (I mean it in a good way) and can't wait!
Did someone tell Zeos that Steve Gutenberg wants to talk with him?
yes
Creepy. Don't do it Zeos,
I'd watch it. I watch both. a great crossover (pun intended)
DUET!!!!!! (pun intended)
@@ZReviews Steve Gutenberg thinks we are stupid. We know we can't hear exactly what you hear in a sound demo. It's just enough to give a flavor. If you look on the Crutchfield website now, even they have a through headphones sort of artificial sound demo, once again, not perfect, but enough to give you some flavor on how one speaker may sound next to another, is one warmer, one brighter, they even factor in efficiency in their demo tech... But yes, Mr. Gutenberg, we are not stupid, we know we are not hearing the actual speaker in the same room....
KEF Q350 + NAD C 338 at 661 euro or Edifier s3000pro?
Hey Zeos! I love the reviews. I bought an edifier s760d 5.1 system before seeing this. They cost the same as the S3000 pros. Would you recommend these over the S760d? It's on my pc desk for gaming, music, and sometimes movies. Thanks!
OK so I've watched this review about 6 times now. After a lot of head scratching & shopping around I have a pair of the 3000Pro's coming from Amazon UK next week. I've also got a pair of the stands coming direct from Edifier US at a bargain price but they probably won't turn up for another couple of weeks. I'll let you know what I think, my first new speakers for nearly 20yrs. My current speakers are Tannoy Revolution Three's which I have loved but time to try something new.
I'd love to know your opinion. I am looking for something to upgrade my Wharfedale 122 with a Wharfedale sw-150 sub, and basic Yamaha AV receiver....and I am wondering if Edifiers would be an upgrade...or downgrade :D
@@michalesniak7012 Just got the speakers today but the stands haven't arrived yet so they are stood on a couple of small steel garden tables which are not tall enough to do them justice. However I've used them for about 4hrs only via BT from an Android tablet. Now I'm not a young man so my hearing isn't what it once was but what I've heard so far is simply stunning. My old speakers are Tannoy Revolution Three's which I've loved but they're not in the same league as these Edifiers.
Any update? What the sound like? Are you happy with your purchase?
@@feelgeorge Hi George. What can I say, I'm loving these Edifiers deffo the best speakers I've ever heard. I keep going back through stuff I love & hearing things I never heard before. I would say the optical input from my Marantz CD17ki sig sounds the best but BT from my Fiio M6 sounds pretty awesome too. If you want them, go for it I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Just brought mine cost a packet with shipping to SA

Adam audio T5V/T7V or Edifier S3000 Pro for music and gaming on a desktop?
Having the exact same doubt rn, also with the KEF Q350, which did you go with?
How do they compare with Klipsch rp-600m?
+1
RP600M has emaciated bass. Needs a subwoofer, so...many cables and additional cost.
hey Jack black...i mean Zeos.. Im buying these speakers pairing them with two svs sb1000's doom stack style.. thanks for your work.. i will live happier becuase of what you do. Also my new headphone setup is the monprice closed backs magneplaners... thx agian. Headphone amp... schiit dacandamp stack or dayton
Are these just as good if they're mostly used close up?
syst3m08 I do hope Z shares his views on this one!
They’re stellar close by. All the Edifiers do well at low volumes.
These, Vanatoo T1, Swan M300.... When will I find my end game bookshelfs.
Clark pies , I'm with you on that decision as well because I'm in the market for a set of higher end speaker system. I actually may go with the EDIFIER
Airplay speaker system because of the higher end tweeters.
Tim Schutte hi 👋🏻 did you buy the air pulse A300 ?
Endgame bookshelf swan m5a. Different league.
I've owned a pair for about a month. Vday promotion so a bit below retail. These are worth the retail price. I've got them on either side of living room tv in a built in cabinet so didn't buy the stands. Power and clarity are next level. No brainer from my perspective, but I'm not an audiophile.
You have them hooked up to hdtv?
Yes ! This is it. No connecting wire!
Your neighbors must love you
Wow wow I have recently brought the same speakers for $717 Australian and they sound absolutely amazing the only thing that would make these even better is if I could buy another set and pair them together for something truly ultimate but if you are lucky enough to get a pair of these for under $800 they are definitely the best value for money and I would buy another set in a heartbeat if I could pair another set together
Looking for some decent speakers for the home office. What’s the bass like? I like to have good bass.

How are these near-field on a desk?
Spectacular. Even at low volume.
Question for you.
Are these edifers better than the klipsch fives paired with a klipsch sub?

Just to let you know, I've now bought these speakers and they will arrive tomorrow from Amazon, the stands will arrive at the end of October (hopefully). I will give you my honest thoughts after a serious testing of various music as well as computer settings. I will be using an optical cable to computer as getting a decent USB cable of 5metres was more expensive than optical cables.
Soooo? Can you write your thoughts here today? 😇
I have a set of these but they don't sound great...What equipment are you using them with
And how is it connected....
What do you think about the klipsch the sixes compared to the Edifier s3000
The knobs out of the box doesn't matter. Just set them and listen.
@ thanks mate 😻 I’m beyond impressed , thanks for your recommendation. Can’t thank you enough

@@Bootrosgali i couldn't agree with you more, these are beyond what i was expecting tbh, pure bliss for me ;3;
How would you compare these to The Fives?
i am still asking the same and i get no answer yet :/
I ordered them with a discount. I am a real hardwood junkie and my only problem with this speaker is that wood on the side is imitation. However I must say that this is the best looking fake wood I saw on a product I buy and it still looks super nice. For that price, you get great bang for the bucks and if I really need wood I guess a few grands more would need to be forked out and I don't even know if it is available for pc speakers.
Can you review the edifier s360db
Would love to see a review of the Edifier airpulse a300 to see if they're worth the extra $$$

Thanks
JB
He does it by switching the left and right cables from the Dac to right and left on the speakers. It shouldn't reduce audio quality at all.
@@ZachBZera thanks for the reply, would it affect the sound from the TV through optical cable like how would the TV no to switch the L/R sound to the opposite speakers . Or can you do that it TV settings

That bass is just nuts! Even thru TH-cam you can hear them pump!🤓
i like the song ''jump' in the sound demo video, but that video no more, can you tell me where i can find the song.
Otona Rock most likely. All Sound Demos are stuck behind the Paywall.
Thanks
USB, SPDIF is the same. the built in dac will do the job.

if you only need optical input for your tv dont forget the edifier 2700, 2730 or 2750 sound great lots of power lots of bass remote control bluetooth etc at a fraction of the price.
Will i have more fun with these instead of the LSR305s?
I have LSR 305's as my desk speakers, and as great as they are, they are not on the level as these S3000 pro's in the high end or the bass. I will likely grab the S3000 pro's for my TV and leave the LSR 305's on my desk.
Yes
Does this sound better than SVS Ultra Bookselfs?
I'd assume a lot of that would depend on the amp (and DSP) you use on the SVS Ultras.
