@@Nigel-nar53 I bought the swans m200 when Zee reviewed them last year from Amazon with no problems and at a really good price. These will probably be available soon. I'm tempted to try the new Edifiers though.
This video takes the price for the most funny and exciting hifi review ever !! - and informative. I was just looking for some quality active computer speakers and stumpled upon the Edifier R2000DB and S1000dB then I was taken on your rollercoaster ride into hifi heaven §;-)
He wasn’t lying, I haven’t even broken them in yet. Once I figured out I was sitting too close, omg. No matter how loud I played them, they were clear and clean. Only complaint is not a complaint, I want more bass but I understand that’s just me. That wire is a pain, there must be some way to get a better cable
The Swan M300 is not on Amazon UK. The M200's are and are a good chunk more expensive than in the US. The Ed S3000 Pros are cheaper inc conversion into $ in the UK. So if its the same when the M300's arrive here, then it's S3000's all day long for me.
@@Gabriel-of-TH-cam Yeah it's weird sometimes. The S200's work out at $476 (£369) in the UK VS $300 (£232) in the US! Compare that to the S3000 pros which are $760 (£589) to $800 (£618). Trump effect? Who knows, but it makes the Swans way less attractive.
It makes me more curious what swans high end stuff is like. If you go to their website you'll see like 5000 combinations of home theatre setups, some of which are in the $10000's. The hifi chifi market is remarkably untapped in the world of home theatre (and speakers in general), only really being centred around portable gear like iem's and daps. Have you ever been in contact with swan audio? As I would be very curious how one of their massive full towers preform if you can get your hands on one someday.
I just bought these via Amazon - due to your spirited recommendation - I'll be comparing them to my Onkyo A-9010/Monitor Audio Bronze 2....I'll let you know how it goes

if you only need optical input for your tv dont forget the edifier 2700, 2730 or 2750 sound great lots of power lots of bass remote control bluetooth etc at a fraction of the price.
I’ve been reading reviews (hardly any out there other than Zeos) on the Swans and some comments indicate overall quality issues with the Swan brand. I was set on the Edifier S3000 pros but with the price difference I was considering these.
You need to set up an A/B demo! Your channel would grow even MORE! LIKE THE SYSTEM THEY HAVE IN the Magnolia rooms at Best Buy! It would really help for speakers! Just to hear you reactions like headphones which you do A/B for yourself!
Yeah I really don’t like that he doesn’t give 100% certain comparisons between two speakers when they’re literally right next to each other, it’s really frustrating
@@yeahthatsright33 So true, it's not like he even needs to do any.more work! You got to admit that if he did this type of caparsion he would double his income in 3 months! Again, it's not that we can hear the ultimate differences but he can. Taking speaker cables and moving them 5 minutes later isn't an A/B comparison to me! Best Buy magnolia room can do this and it's awesome hearing the different speakers right after another! It literally makes all the difference in the world when you're actually buying a pair of speakers for yourself to hear them 2 seconds apart that's what's needed in this TH-cam community and a b type guy he'd clean up!😉😁😎🤗

I bought the Edifier s350db's after your recommendation but I didn't like them at all, missing midbass and lower mids made for a hollow sound also upper mids harsh, even after a few days continuous use. So I realised that I need something warmer and fatter sounding, and I noticed the Swans M200MKIII are on offer at Amazon for £270, is this what want? There's also the Adam T5V's for the same price just to add confusion.
Just ordered these for 2.0 home theater in bigger living room. And I got the edifier stands. I hope the colors match. Do I have to buy a optical cable or does it come with it?
Hey Z, if you had the space would you do 5.0 or even 4.0 for PC gaming? It seems very rare to find folks going beyond 2.0 stereo for gaming. I was wondering if it's more than just the lack of space for the extra speakers and receiver.
Swan M300 VS Edifier S3000pro: Which one has faster/sharper/tighter bass. I don't care which one's bass is lower/deeper, I care which one hits harder and sharper / more defined. I HATE round bass even if it's indeed deeper. I LOVE the combination of extremely fast/sharp and hard hitting bass even if it's not necessarily the deepest bass...I'd rather feel a very tight/sharp thump-bass through my chest than a rounder & slower bass vibrating the walls...

If you haven't bought the speakers yet. I use the M300 on my desk. You need to isolate them however, I have mine on Rockville stands and an isolation pad on those stands. I think for some it might be overkill, but I'm a crazy man and oh my god I love them to death. I have two notches of bass and treble turned up and it's incredible. The cable is short and if you want a clean wire setup you do want the extension cable that Z linked in the description.
!!!!Very hope Z see this! Hi all, Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, or if this isn't the right forum. I really wanna know your guys' thought on this. I understand what balanced and unbalanced means. and im new to the audiophile world. My questions is, what is different between 3.5mm TRS balanced (Ground, Signal-Cold , Signal-Hot ). 2.5mm TRRS balanced (one right channel (R+),one flipped right channel (R-),one left channel audio (L+),one flipped left channel audio (L-) ? Only different i see is the 2.5mm balanced is missing a Ground. So which one better balanced cable? Or they are the same? if one is better than other one, in what? This couple questions is in my head for days. Please help..thank you very much!!!
I purchased the M300 but the bass is too "boomy".. its not the low frequency that is the problem. its more of the bass guitar sounds. Lowering the bass dial does not seem to help as it lowers the good bass. Is there a way to EQ this. I currently run coax between my TV and these speakers. Also, is this a "speaker needs more break-in" situation
Are the amps noisy in your M300s? I just got mine a couple hours ago, and they're audible from feet away the minute you power them on. Just wondering if I got duds, or if they used poor amps.
Depend of the size of your desk and room. But they are quite big for a desk. They don't sound that good in nearfield. They have to be at least 1 meter/ 3feet away to sound great
Serious talk do I buy a powered sub to go with my Swan M200 or go up to M300 or S3000 pro's??! For desktop but I my setup is in kitchen so music while I cook . Got headphones for gaming

Also, can't wait for the review of the new balanced smsl dac, curiouse to see if the performance is better then the smaller one in their new line.
Well, we CAN actually get them - from the US store. For about 530 USD per pair plus about 590 USD for shipping. At least.

Send me the shipping and the money to buy them. Give me $200. I will buy them for you here and ship to you. I am born again, so you don’t have to worry about my honesty. I want to see you get them and enjoy them like I have the OS-10s. That $200 will go toward my own swans. Thank you.
Can you do a comparison review of Swan M300 vs Klipsch RP-600M vs Edifier s3000 pro? That will be the finest battle of speakers ever!
Is the RP-600M priced similarly in your country? It's nearly twice the price of the S3000Pro and M300 where I live (Australia).
@@doakwolf True that. And Edifier seems to be cheaper and dynamically better than Klipsch.
@@niteshnair1246 way more control and definition, more 3D of sound I think at least 🤷♂️🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
These Swans are difficult to find in Europe. They end up costing more than the S3000 Pro's once you add shipping. Thanks for the reviews though.
Try same model number with the brand HiVi, Swans merged with HiVi in 1997.
Hi Thanks for your comment but I already tried that. The only Euro seller I could find is in Poland which is not a good risk for me. I've since decided on the the Edifiers which should arrive to me next week.
@@Nigel-nar53 I bought the swans m200 when Zee reviewed them last year from Amazon with no problems and at a really good price. These will probably be available soon. I'm tempted to try the new Edifiers though.

Those swans look amazeballs, but I'm sold on the edifier 3000 pros with the stands!
The Edifier sound demo blew me away, can't wait to hear this sound demo!
I'm listening to this video with my Swans M200iii+ thanks to your earlier videos.
This video takes the price for the most funny and exciting hifi review ever !! - and informative. I was just looking for some quality active computer speakers and stumpled upon the Edifier R2000DB and S1000dB then I was taken on your rollercoaster ride into hifi heaven §;-)
I got these direct two days after ordering. Way better than I expected. I might even integrate these to a small home theater
If there’s a way.
I absolutely love your review! Thank you!
cool, how does it compare to Edifier Airpulse A300?
He wasn’t lying, I haven’t even broken them in yet. Once I figured out I was sitting too close, omg. No matter how loud I played them, they were clear and clean. Only complaint is not a complaint, I want more bass but I understand that’s just me. That wire is a pain, there must be some way to get a better cable
The Swan M300 is not on Amazon UK. The M200's are and are a good chunk more expensive than in the US. The Ed S3000 Pros are cheaper inc conversion into $ in the UK. So if its the same when the M300's arrive here, then it's S3000's all day long for me.
This happens a lot, some products just have the currency changed, but not converted and then they add tax & customs so the final price is ridiculous.

If I was a hoarder but also kind of neat, my house would look like this.
Are the cuddles on the sofa with swans a new patreon tier.
Ha ha ha.
how do these compare to the 306p/krk rokits/genelecs/etc?
Yes, and the Adam T7v?
I just bought these via Amazon - due to your spirited recommendation - I'll be comparing them to my Onkyo A-9010/Monitor Audio Bronze 2....I'll let you know how it goes
So... What do you think ? Haha
hey baby, how do they compare?
LET US KNOW!

Opps! I guess he stated the subs were off-- Sorry- I need to listen more carefully
I got a 2ndhand MK200MKII for 40bucks. But dang! One of the best speakers ive had. The center stage of this speaker is astonishing. it seems like you have a center channel speaker. The one i got is converted to passive bypassing the builtamp.currently powered by my yamaha receiver. To sum up hands down to this speaker.
if you only need optical input for your tv dont forget the edifier 2700, 2730 or 2750 sound great lots of power lots of bass remote control bluetooth etc at a fraction of the price.
@@yeahthatsright33
So true, it's not like he even needs to do any.more work! It literally makes all the difference in the world when you're actually buying a pair of speakers for yourself to hear them 2 seconds apart that's what's needed in this TH-cam community and a b type guy he'd clean up!😉😁😎🤗
Big Jay well zero fidelity, Gutenberg, NRD they don't do any of what Z does. You can tell he puts in the effort. He is looking through the windshield while the others are looking in the rear view mirror.
Like with Digital Stereophony? One vote from me then
yensteel Colorado had sonic sense do the exact same thing with studio monitors. They no longer exist but the comparisons were informative. Z is providing a lot though.
DUDE!!!!! I’ve got a wife. I’ll be lucky if I get one tiny pair of bookshelves and a modest toaster priced amp.
I can’t line the living room with every fantastic speaker you review?
How do we keep score?!?!?!?

Those are not super expensive, doesn't require a receiver or amps, has bluetooth and remote control that would be practical for her.
Erick R yeah, no. She doesn’t require an amplifier.
They improve bedroom performance by over 70% 😉
Where I'm from the Edifier S3000 Pro is just 514 USD and there are no Swans/HiVi M300 here just the M200 MKIII.
So, I asked this about the Edifiers too but: these or the Klipsch RP-600M?
Do these sound better than the S3000s now? I didn't quite catch that...
S3000 dynamic makes the lower frequency sound better than RP-600M
If u buy klipsch for sure you gonna need to buy their subwoofer for the low frequency. But edifier s3000 covers all that
I plan to buy a SVS PB-3000 anyway. Do they lack in lows above 80 Hz too?@@DecksPage
Why buy a plastic cabinet with a woofer and a tweeter when for same price or less you can buy a woofer, a tweeter plus a cabinet with real wood, 1 or 2 amplifiers, bluetooth and all the rest of features and all this with same of even better sound quality....
My worry on this is if the remote broke or lost, how will i get them work... ☹️
I own several Swans speakers and the last was M200MKII and the local distributor closed their shop, so I was wondering is Swans still makes bloody good speakers and recently I saw a local parallel importer brings in M300 and I saw your TH-cam and you know what, we both have the same dilemma when you starts to hear Swans, it’s really FUCKING GOOD many can’t come close even some hundreds years old brits shit.
hard to beat for the price, maybe only harman can, if they have
Are they better than the Buchardt S300?
Is the Hivi H6 the same speaker but with different looks? It has the same specs. Love their sound but not much attracted to the '70 s looks.
I love how he says you don't need a subwoofer with these but then you would play the intro of Edge of Tomorrow lol.

Z, where are the T5Vs standing among the Edifiers and Swans ?

Do your neighbors ever send you death threats Zeos? Theeeeeeez!
ya i am leaning to the Edifier's for my TV speakers for movies / sports / everyday TV....want simplicity ....should I ? mmmmmm ahhhhhh ....lol...cheers from Vulcan Canada
Why are swans out of stock everywhere?
Did they go out of business?
I bought the Edifier s350db's after your recommendation but I didn't like them at all, missing midbass and lower mids made for a hollow sound also upper mids harsh, even after a few days continuous use. So I realised that I need something warmer and fatter sounding, and I noticed the Swans M200MKIII are on offer at Amazon for £270, is this what want? There's also the Adam T5V's for the same price just to add confusion.
The Swans are Captain America because you cant get them in EU. Rip.
Yep not even Australia.
on the other hand the Edifiers are ~$600 in the EU so there is no point in looking for the Swans

Just ordered these for 2.0 home theater in bigger living room. And I got the edifier stands. I hope the colors match. Do I have to buy a optical cable or does it come with it?
Optical cable came with my OS-10s so I guess they will.
Would you classify these as "long throw"? Or are they suitable for a computer desk?
So... what do the buchardts have over these?
good question!
That..is a great.... Question..
Price.
You can find them in Europe?
F3 of these speakers is around 38hz... Unfortunately Buchart lists in room response which is boosted down low, but they have an F3 of 33hz or so.

I'm confused between the m300 and m200 for my desk. Has anyone used m300 on their desks? Is it an overkill?
If you haven't bought the speakers yet. I use the M300 on my desk. You need to isolate them however, I have mine on Rockville stands and an isolation pad on those stands. I think for some it might be overkill, but I'm a crazy man and oh my god I love them to death. I have two notches of bass and treble turned up and it's incredible. The cable is short and if you want a clean wire setup you do want the extension cable that Z linked in the description.

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, or if this isn't the right forum.
Can anyone tell me what song this is? 24:36 Thanks
