"For Victory" will be 30 years old this year. I've been playing that album in my cycle since I discovered Bolt Thrower 6-7 years ago. The production is flawless. It still sounds fresh as ever. I remember the days when you would say an album was 30 years old you'd be talking about Hendrix or someone, not extreme metal of any kind. Man I'm getting old.
@@hectorvegasduque2234 i don’t actually think it’s that bad of an album in my opinion, although the lack of karl willetts does make it a whole lot weaker compared to the rest.
@@leog9637 ha yeah reading that back seems stupid, bad way of saying stuff today almost seems devoid of personality because of how clean the editing is
It's weird, because I know she _has_ given interviews- it's not exactly difficult to find transcripts of them online. It's like she just refuses to ever be recorded giving them.
Joe Bench was married to Gavin when this video was made and she didn't say much even when asked. Typical polite English young woman in one of the all time greatest bands ever
bolt thrower's last 2 albums: any sequence of tones at any time makes sense. simple. perfected. slayers raining blood: 0:35 badass, 0:45 badass, 0:55 badass, 1:06 just ass. plus rotting garbage. plus all of the band members having a stroke at once while playing on. many such cases... to be fair, bt's first albums sound like scrap metal whirling in a blender. they pulled a complete 180, from making music for borderline bipolar sperg punks to creating an audible energy, able to shield you even against the corrupting forces of chaos, while tapping into the same source. of course there will be soifaced fans who like their beginnings, and that's ok. if john mcafee ate da poopoo and still managed to be a cool guy, i can respect you too.

One of the greatest death metal albums ever written.
Absolutely
somehow, ALL of their albums are “one of the greatest death metal albums ever written.” such a solid, impossibly consistent band.

Thank you! Such a rarity to see a Bolt Thrower interview!
Awesome. A thousand million thanks for posting this video. Really appreciated. Hail Bolt Thrower.
It’s nice seeing behind-the-scenes and what perfectionist they are!
I remember this when it was first aired.Thanx a million for sharing.
Wow that video editing effect aged well....said no one ever
Im gonna be honest i miss when they had crazy editing rather than the boaring plane editing of now it to me give thr interview energy
@@jackko21 it's just some fucking mook complaining about editing done 30 years ago. Dudes a fucking poser.

They took their time making the album and made it with great care.
Люблю их с детства. Спасибо. 🤘
Finally I saw Colin Richardson! The Genius!
Bolt 🤘🏽🇦🇷🤘🏽 Thrower
one of the best
It's great seeing this, one of my all time favorite albums, but man, that "cool" early 90's effect that MTV put on is annoying as hell.
Bolt thrower on Headbangers Ball! Cool!!!!
why doesn't Jo Bench never talks?
She's probably shy and doesn't feel comfortable about doing interviews.
Nothing wrong with that.

Camera shyness I suppose (when it comes to interviews at least).

Yeah right, what happened?
At first, they listened to the fans, and then they listened to their sponsors/corporate.
Classic capitalism.

I like bolt throwers early album albums I would not compare them to John McAfee eating 13-year-old uncool poop
