i was looking everywhere, thinking; "oh, he's got to have 'Deep into the Code' remixed by now." luckily, i remembered what level it played on, and when i saw E3M3 i got very excited! awesome, very awesome. one of my favs as a kid, and you just made it better! thank you! (and i think it's pretty funny how i found it exactly 1 year after it was published)
I agree. The drums are too loud. I heard it after I uploaded it on youtube, so too late :( It's weird because when I listened to it after mastering it the guitars sounded more loud and heavy. But I think the reason for that was that I played it too loud. Because now on "normal" volume level the rythm guitars gets buried by the drums ;(
Pretty good ! Only complaint : The drums are a bit too loud in the mix imo, they sound good but the guitar is hard to hear in some part. But you did a good work on this one, as always !
It looks okay for now, I just hope they will not screw up the gameplay... The previous one was meh, something like Return to Castle Wolf, fun and brainless, could be great. But now, I am waiting every day until the release of the new Shadow Warrior, and Rise of the Triad ! This one will blow everything up.
Yeah I have played. I have a streamed video here where I played it for first time. Mick Gordon used a 9 string guitar for his DooM tracks. So I am not sure how I would cover them. Plus his mixing / mastering skills are incredible. He has superb sound. The main reason I covered the original DooM midi tracks here on my channel is because I was curious what I could do to make them sound real / more heavy.
Yeah the previous wolfenstein game felt like just a COD clone or something. Really boring. But this new one has the same team that made the Riddick game, so it will be better I think. I am not so fan of remakes since I have yet to found one remake that is better than the original.
There's not enough metal in game now...it needs more.
Agree
You got what you asked for, like 3 years later
Just what I needed today
It sounds like slayer - behind the crooked cross
Pajaro Thrasher Id Software Ripped the song off when they made the Soundtrack to Doom so you're right.
Wasteland Wanderer 1216 They didn't rip off the soundtracks. They made the soundtracks based on famous/good metal songs at that time.
That's called plagiarism or "ripped off".
Some songs are mishmashed from different metal songs, others are complete copies.
@@CTyler84 Bobby Prince from ID Software did not rip off the sounds. He got the permission from the famous metal bands.
@@Nickael7 But not from the less famous ones?
Stop making stuff up, this is ancient history now.
Behind the crooked code

And another nice cover!
Well done!!!
Thanks!
The game industry needs more Doom and Painkiller like games.
yes one!
Thanks
I remixed it now (lowered the drum volume). So you can re-download it from soundcloud
How to DL from SoundCloud?
This song is inspired by Slayer's Behind the Crooked Cross actually..
Reminds original Slayer's "Behind The Crooked Cross". Nice work!
LANTERNSHORK TOO? YEEES!

The new Wolfenstein game looks good. Old school and with really good gameplay and graphics. Hope it turns out thats right.
Thanks. Took me about 12 hours to make. Spent the whole day and most night.
What kind of car are you driving?
Hehe I like Ford and trucks. Think I will be getting one I can use for winter. When I get a better job :p
I find it funny how E3M3 is an exact replica of BTCC (almost), yet it does not have that E1M1 sound to it (which BTCC does have.)
lazyfireball7889 odd isn't it?
I don't do requests
Came across your videos looking for Mick Gordon's new Doom (2016) OST.
Have you played it? Any chance you will cover BFG Division or Rip and tear? :D

Slayer

an 01 F-150, she aint the prettiest girl at the dance, but she puts out.
Superior Drummer 2.0 with metal fondry.
Then added reverb and limiter
That is a very cool car. I also drive american: Chevrolet Camaro '87 Iroc-Z
If my trucks "very cool" your Camaro is fuckin frozen solid.
It's because all Robert Prince's songs are basically a rippoff from famous metal riffs :)
Ah, cool! And I don't even know how the original is :p
I hope next doom will have this kind of soundtrack and not crappy dubstep
+In My Opinion you underestimate doom my good friend
In My Opinion DOOM 2016 has a killer soundtrack
CrazySpinach 79 it does
Oh want a metal version of this? Just listen to "behind the crooked cross" by slayer lmao
every dog know that, genius
