What I already noticed in the first part...: I think the model is going to be bigger than the original aircraft. As the guidelines at the left and the right of the aircraft are extracted from the technical sketch, they have to be the widest points on the model, but as you can see at 5:06, they are not. The fuselage keeps extending at the top of the guideline. So to make the model exact, the left and right guidelines also have to be a 3D-curve, that always follow the widest part of the fuselange.
I hope anyone understands what I mean. :D
PS: Another example for better understanding would be the A320, where on the real thing the cross section of the fuselage is really a nice circle, which you wouldn't get when modeling with the pierced guidelines.

Thank you for pointing that out, I understood what you said. I noticed that from the beginning, I just didnt make that correction in the previous video because it would make the video longer. I am trying to make my videos smaller, simple and filled with content. thats why.
we are on the same page buddy, thanks ;)

Makes me wonder how plane designs were documented and communicated back in the days without CAD!

@@adityakapoor4274 Very slowly, and very carefully. Lots and lots and lots of huge-format paper drawings. I've done a lot of paper drafting in my time, but can't imagine dealing with the vast number of drawings to make even a simple airplane like a Cessna 152. The advent of CAD and library programs were a huge leap forward.

Great work. I like the ratio method. But I think you could do it much easier if you use equations. Calculate ratio (0.29) in the equations and use it anywhere you need. Just put an equal sign (=) to dimension, then write the equation.

How can we find fuselage section circle(roughly) parts engineering drawing???

On 10:47 mins mark,, does anyone not being able to complete the Coincident because of "Over Defined" Error? and if when I used the thin feature for all the previous loft, my fuselage plane was still not a solid surface. Anyone knows the fix for these 2 problems?

you can use the 'split line' feature to create outlines of the windows and doors on the fuselage of the aircraft.

Hello, Great Video, Thank you for your time and effort.
I am just having an issue with my last plane trying to do the last spline. I have repeated the same steps for all the other planes and sketches before it, using the ratio multiplication, all is fine except the the last plane right at the back.
When I try to do a Coincident with the ratio height, I get the error:
"The Sketch has not been updated because it would result in invalid geometry (such as a zero-length line)."
Sorry, I would have sent a private message but I don't think you can send private messages anymore, otherwise I would have sent a screenshot.
    Thank you.
