The Canuck fake canopy is hilariously awesome, the Canadians used such a simple but effective camo that in a dogfight might confuse the opponent for that split second to turn the tables.

"Hoots mon, there's a moose loose, a-boot this hoose". It's a Scottish song, sung with a scottish accent by Lord Rockinghams X1. I always thought Canadians sounded like Neil Young!! :))
Awesome video, my guy! I was getting worried the hornet was not good anymore with all the viper and f15 bvr stuff... happy to see she wins the slow fights, if you can ever get there 😂
Cheers for doing a Hornet man, would love to see more. Wouldn't mind seeing one in the super Hornet if you can man. Love F/A18's, they look sick and would like to know more about how they manoeuvre. Hey, GS ? Was that the Mission Impossible intro song @4:30 as the plane came out of the sun ? Great for dramatic effect ! Well done, sir.

The bright red paint on the top kind of messes with the concept though. :)

Just imagining a flanker flying in Canadian airspace and hearing that "out for a rip are ya bud?" Over the radio and then getting slammed by a missile
This made me lol, great comment
Great song , classic summer at the lake in the sauna party list.
What does rip mean, trip ? Fart rip ?

I love it, Blink! The Flanker coming out of the sun was scary how he just appeared there
“He lost his nose cone but he’s still flying pretty good”
“Flying pretty good”=like a rock, apparently
I mean the flanker did just get slammed by a 9x
He also had his vertical rudders missing. That's why he was wobbling around like crazy and could not get his control back.

My understanding is the naval variant was chosen as it was more likely to survive landings on rough runways up north.
4:10 i can fully appreciate the faux canopy in that moment. I can totally see how at a first glance you might think that the jet is facing the other way.
Love that Canada 150 camo
That 3rd round missile was personal. Then the 4th round gun kill was definitely personal.
