There’s more aftermarket support for the 2.0T than the 3.6. Stock for the stock the 3.6 should have the upper hand. But just a tune and bolt ons will pass the 3.6 in no time. In terms of engine sound, the 3.6 does have a nice purr to it.
@@v8pontiacvent YOU are actually wrong. Theres COUNTLESS videos on the 2.0T being noticeable faster than the V6 because after all its in the SAME car but the V6 is heavier and MINUS the turbo. Its not rocket science that the 2.0T is FASTER! If your REALLY into cadillacs then you already know this off the rip. I ONLY have one upgrade and its the ZZP CAI. It BROUGHT me so much joy its literately indescribable! NOW that i can hear the car i drive/react differently. BEFORE the install (believe it or not i've already beat a 2017 Stingray and a 2019 GT by half a car length BONE STONE). Its is what it is. I came from a cobalt so i feel like the 2.0T is like the ecotech but on steroids. Practically the SAME size too. YES a Cold air intake makes a DIFFERENCE without a tune but thats based off of a % so the smaller the motor then the smaller amount of change AFTER....the after market part is installed. ;)
YOU only need to ref it to 1.5-2K before LAUNCH you were reving way harder than that which costed you the race to a metro 3 cylinder car? LOL. LEARN how to drive. LOL. and YES i own the samer car. #NoExcuses

v8pontiacvent mine is a 3.6 and under throttle it sounds like a VQ
pontiacGXPfan Yes it does, very nice tone. But the 2.0T can make up for it with that awesome turbo sound you get from a cold air intake.
