Hey bro awesome video! I have an ats myself and im looking into picking up the throttle body, downpipe and exhaust and the attention to detail is exactly the way i feel videos need to be made, keep up the good work man!
I live in Chicago as well and I click on your link and it gives me different prices which one is it? Is it the cheaper one? It’s like $189 it says I think
weird that a cold air intake is not available for this model, just the filter. the throttle looks very easy to install, looks like a must have. ~Great vid. thanks for the link.
Yea I know , I’m going to try to get the ATS intake and see if I can fit it the stock air box is the same per number from CTS to the ATS I think I just have figure out a way around the plastic engine cover , and yes the throttle is not that hard to do took me less then 30 minutes .
So for the 2013 ats 2.0t you kept the stick intake rubber tubing and simply took out the stock filter and installed and k&n intake filter ? Able to hear the blow off valve ?
Did u have the intercooler? I want to install the throttle body first then go intercooler because its cheaper but idk if i have to get the charge pipes in order for it to work
PRviewsvlogs lol it was just a question didnt want to buy your parts. I just wanted to know if i can install the throttle body and use my stock charge pipe
Actually I had purchased their core tune about a year ago but that made the remote start not to work , but there are plans to actually go to take a trip to their facility and have them personally tune the car , I’m only three hours away from them , and I will make a video when I do this .
@@PRviewsvlogs, sweet. I live about an hour away. I've bought a few things from them. I'm actually in the process of an LTG build right now. My target is at least 500hp to the wheels.
Notice any reliability issues yet due to removing the stock intake tube and oil "catch can" thingy directly in front of the throttle body opening? (The intake tube looks different in the CTS than the ATS so maybe yours doesn't have one)
No in front of the throttle body there is no catch can , just normal tube , my catch can was part of the intake tube that goes to the turbo , haven’t noticed any difference in reliability, but I do plan to add a catch can to it .
If you look close , there is a metal ring with some notches , you have to take a small flat head screw driver and a hammer and lightly tap it counter clockwise to unlock it
Yes , it’s a pain I had to cut in the video I cause I think I cursed in languages I didn’t even speak , using a screw driver pry between and around the pipes and in a side to side motion start pulling them apart , it’s a pain in the ass but it will start working it’s way out ,
I know this is 4yrs old, but, I have an ATS now and the heat gun on low setting will save you so much frustration with disconnecting and reconnecting ANY of the lines/tubing in the car (or any other car).
Great video! Just recently purchased an Ats and recently been looking at options for mods. Im a little nervous about CAI due to the fact I put one on my 2.5 Altima and it gave me issues. Would it be possible for me to checkout your setup or at lease get a view in person.
I was thinking of replacing the inter cooler and doing E85 as well , I wish I would have stated my channel a year ago when I did the down pipe and tune .
Does anyone have the part number for this Throttle Body? Found LTG throttle bodys on Summit for less than ZZP. Trying to experiment and install this larger throttle body on my Saab 9-3
Did this make a big difference? I got mine in the mail yesterday and will be installing it this weekend but kinda having second thoughts. I was between this and the e85 (ats)
I’m thinking of doing E85 but I do know that if the engine wasn’t built for that the seals may not hold up and you might develop leaks sooner , do the throttle it makes a difference
Hey bro, I just did this to my 2016 ATS 2.0t and for some reason when I’m driving once I hit around 40mph it takes it time to go faster, that’s when I realized I’m literally pressing the gas pedal to the ground and I’m hardly speeding up. I switched over to the shifter, and it has me in 8th gear at 40mph….so I need to tune the car? I only have the ZZP Cold air intake and the throttle body installed so far…Also I never unplugged the battery..not sure if that will fix this or not
@@a.dragon3660 to further your answer I have a 2.0T ats, have 76k on it and drive it like a racecar. No issues other than radiator was replaced under warranty a while ago
Oh yea wait till you tune that baby , I had the Trifecta tune , cause the ZZP tune makes you loose the remote start feature . But man after the tune wow .
+Trey Lewis it actually helps with the lag when you first try to take off from a stop , that dead zone still there acceleration is smoother and faster up to that point , I will be doing the tune from zzp and taking out the trifecta tune I have there will be a video comparing the two this summer .
Upper intake ?? Are you talking about the intake system ?? , if so yea it had a ZZP intake with K&N drop in which was only one available at the time that owned the car .
I literally take off the 4 bolts and pull it out , I hate people that don’t pay attention , and if you don’t. Know how to remove a simple throttle body then I would touch the car .
Nice video.....I too am considering purchasing several of the ZZP performance items for my 2014 ATS, but haven't decided which to do first yet. Will probably start with their down pipe and see how that goes. Also in Aurora.
If you haven't done the DP yet, it's a MUST DO! Night and day difference with the pull(at least with my Trifecta tune). I LOVE ZZP gear and will go to them first. I have their 400cel DP and silicone intake and Catch Can so far. Couldn't be happier! 35K+ miles on the tune so far with ZERO issues.

Hi brother I have a question the engine coolant tank the lower one is it supposed to have coolant until the fill mark or is it supposed to be empty
What lower tank ? There should only be one tank and it should be full
Did u have the intercooler? I want to install the throttle body first then go intercooler because its cheaper but idk if i have to get the charge pipes in order for it to work
Sorry I already sold all parts
PRviewsvlogs lol it was just a question didnt want to buy your parts. I just wanted to know if i can install the throttle body and use my stock charge pipe
Oh sorry I miss understood that , no , the stock charge pipe will not fit over the wider throttle
Do you still have your CTS?? I'm about 1 hour from you. Trilled that you stored it for the Winter.
I don’t have them CTS in this video but I have a Vsport now
Why not go with ZZP for the tune? I mean they do have an LTG powered Camaro putting over 600hp to the wheels. These guys know their shit.

Are you going to do the zzperformance intercooler as well
I work for Nissan and yea if you replace anything on a Nissan especially that has to do air induction you’ll have issues .
I was thinking of replacing the inter cooler and doing E85 as well , I wish I would have stated my channel a year ago when I did the down pipe and tune .
Im west of you off I88 would you be willing to meet up
Don’t take this the wrong way but , I don’t know you and what would we be meeting up for ?

Hope so! And I’ve got the ATS so I know the e85 will do fine. Appreciate the response God bless
E85 is worth it. It helps with the crappy design of pistons GM made. You will get less hotspots and less likely to knock. Great video!
But it burns quicker also , I might do it .
@@nastynotch8314 you run E85 in your premium fuel caddy ????

You shouldn’t need to tune the car for the bigger throttle
This is plug and play part , I would re-check the work if not re-install the factory one and see if it does the same thing
Hows the 2.0t engine on cts been regarding reliability?? Any issues or concerns ? I have been planning on getting one with the 2.0 t
I don not have it anymore traded it for a vsport but had it for 2 years and ran it for 60k miles and never had a single issue with it .
PRviewsvlogs yeah I saw. Glad to know it was reliable during the time you had it.
Thanks for the reply

Nice! What size tire and rim on your car?
They where 20s
awesome video! i also got the larger throttle body and wow what a difference!
Thanks , and yes it makes a higher difference, is your act also tuned

Can you tell me if this fixed the 5500-6500 dead zone? The LTG dies between these rpms

I’ve got the zzp tune, catless DP, and e85. It’s still there. I think it’s going to remain, unless the cams are upgraded. 😒
Well that sucks , it’s so annoying , the car has sucks great get up and go and then just dead
How’s the e85 working for you ?
It’s a must! That with the tune is going to give you the most power gains.
Which trifecta tune did you go with?
They only had 1 available for the car at the time , now I believe u can select different tunes and select what mods u have .
Do you have performance parts for a 2005 cts 3.6 2wd
??? I don’t sell parts.
Is the upper intake upgraded
Upper intake ?? Are you talking about the intake system ?? , if so yea it had a ZZP intake with K&N drop in which was only one available at the time that owned the car .

If you do the down pipe you will need a tune , it will set two codes , honestly do the throttle and intake first
Nice I’ve been living in aurora for 3 years now
