Also when the cop asks Doc Brown if he has a permit for his “weather experiment,” Doc says “sure I do,” and goes to his wallet to break out some bribe $. (Cop looked like he was expecting some).
52:10 it's also heavily implied that the mansion burning down was intentional. Doc committed some insurance fraud to help fund his time machine invention
I should have been in this reaction as the Back to the Future super fan I am 😑, but it was an amazing reaction. I loved Zakk's reaction when Marty and Lorraine kissed. Hilarious. Also, Telltale games is also behind the critically acclaimed The Walking Dead games, The Wolf Amongst Us, and of course the Back to the Future game which was fantastic. Kevin Bruner, a co-founder of Telltale, has since branched off and created Dramatic Labs and they released the Star Trek Resurgence game which from what I hear was a mixed bag.
I had a similar reaction to Eric Stoltz's when I first saw this as a kid. Marty basically just erased his entire family and sent himself to an alternate universe where he now has to live in a nightmare surrounded by people who look like them but only have fragments of their personalities and shared history. I've always been curious what a fully serious take on this premise would look like while still keeping basic plot points.
17:17 Pepsi Free was caffeine-free, not sugar-free. The sugar-free version was (and still is) called Diet Pepsi. In 1987 the Pepsi Free name was phased out and today it is called Caffeine-free Pepsi.
I have as much culture as a boomer but I don’t own property that exploits renters. I’m more of a “hey we have opinions that you think someone cares about but they don’t” kinda guy.
5:28 🎶The Power of Love🎶 one greatest songs ever to come out of 1985 ❤ 6:03 Huey Lewis cameo Fun fact: Alan Silvestri is what John Williams is to Steven Spielberg, he basically composed every film by Robert Zemeckis (BTTF trilogy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Forrest Gump, Cast Away & The Polar Express). He also composed other films you might recognize, Shane (Predator, The Mummy Returns, Ready Player One, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame)
you know this video was great but something that isn't talked about enough with your channel is the editing is really good. and a lot of reactors dont realise their janky editing or editing without much thought can ruin a video so hats off to who ever edits these videos
THomas F WIlson who played Biff said that they were almost done filming with Stoltz and when he was fired the crew was surprised but relieved as no one liked Stoltz except his friend Lea Thompson.
Michael J. Fox is actually a great guitar player and did play the guitar in this movie for real. I believe the singing voice is Huey Lewis… correct me if I’m wrong.
I've said this before, when I saw this movie in 85 I was looking forward to flying cars. Instead, we have do not eat lettering on wrappings for Subway sandwiches and sometimes even on pizza boxes.
Shane, Zack, excellent reaction! Remember being as uncomfortable as Zack the first time watching certain scenes. Glad you enjoyed it Zack. Post talk was cool. Would be great if you select the next in series, or Roger Rabbit , both are good. Both enjoy your day..................Could you check out the movie 'Teachers' sometime, even on own. It has the father Mcfly in it as well as Ralph Macchio( cobra kai), Jobeth Williams( Poltergeist), Nick Nolte (48 hours), and Judd Hirsch ( tv show 'taxi' which also had Christopher Lloyd).....worth the watch.
Fun filmography fact: the director also made Castaway (the other "Tom Hanks" movie of his), and there was a long hiatus in the middle of the shoot so Tom Hanks could lose all the weight and film the second half of the movie when he's all skinny/buff. During that interim, the director made an underrated suspense/thriller called What Lies Beneath with Harrison Ford and Michell Pfeiffer. Definitely check it out if you haven't; the only movie to have made me "yelp" out loud in the theaters. Man, was that embarrassing, lol
At the gas station when Marty is trying to open the soda bottle, George uses the can opener on the side of the tank because there weren’t twist-offs back then.
That's kind of a stretch though. I graduated in 1985, so same age as Marty. Kids of the 70s grew up using those bottle openers on the side of soda machines. Those were still around at the time though less so. But yeah, it was used as a comic relief moment, so I don't take that point too seriously, but even then seeing it in theaters I didn't buy a teen would be unaware of bottle cap openers and when you needed one. I just had to use one a few months ago at a roadside food truck, didn't even have to think about it. Just looked around for the opener.
0:38 Christopher Lloyd's second most iconic and brilliant role was as Jim Ignatowski in the classic sitcom "Taxi." If you're a fan of Christopher Lloyd, watching this show is a must. Andy Kaufman, Danny DeVito, Tony Danza, and the great Judd Hirsch delivered phenomenal performances. Christopher Lloyd was also great in a recent Bob Odenkirk movie called NOBODY. Even though Michael J. Fox did get diagnosed with Parkinsons shortly after the release of Part 3 in 1991, he didn't let anyone know until 1998 and worked extensively beyond that. Disappointed you didn't have the kids react to this classic, too. They'd have loved it. 5:31 CLASSIC music. Huey Lewis's The Power of Love was #1 on the Billboard Charts when it came out, and he wrote both that and "Back In Time" (its flipside), especially for Back to the Future. I'm hoping you're not like 99% of the millennial reactors and recognize him as the teacher/band judge...we shall see in a few seconds. 6:17 Nope, you blew it. Same as 99% of the rest of the reactors. That WAS Huey Lewis, whose song you trashed. Boondock Saints stole the "Make like a tree" line from Back to the Future. That should be obvious. 51:57 There is a newspaper clipping hanging on the wall of Doc Brown's garage lab in the opening scene with the headline “Brown Mansion Destroyed.” His "Garage" was the only thing that survived, where he lived next to the Burger King. 53:56 If you want Part 2, you'll see that Jennifer changed quite a bit- into an Academy Award-nominated actress.
your too down load was actaully Huey lewis himself making a cameo making a joke abut his own song :) but the most important line in the entire movie was principal, no mcvly ever amounted to anything in the history of Hill valley Marty : yeah well history is going to change
i think what this was suposed to imply was that marty showed him the picture of him and his siblings being resotred, which led doc to realize that if you altar the future under cirumstances it may be ok which is why he may have put the letter back together.
I loved this reaction and I’m right there with Shane I Love experiencing a friends reaction to a film I love to see there reaction in the hopes they love it too 🥰🥰 I loved Zack’s reaction as well glad he liked it I hope we get to see you both react to the other 2 installments of this franchise And if y’all are going to react to who framed roger rabbit 🐇 which is so good You should also react to cool world 1992 with Brad Pitt 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Great movie and great to see reaction. I wonder about one thing... George keeps Biff close to his family (wife and daughter) even though Biff assaulted Lorraine in high school. Weird.
I’m with Zack on Forrest Gump. I think I’ve seen that movie a grand total of 1 time in my 35 years. Didn’t hate it, but never wanted to watch it again.

I didn’t notice that till I was older. Now it makes me smile. Such a wonderful detail.
Would’ve thought Zach seen it out of everyone
52:10 it's also heavily implied that the mansion burning down was intentional. Doc committed some insurance fraud to help fund his time machine invention

Adams Family is a good one to watch with the kids
Ah. Please watch and react to Who Framed Roger Rabbit. ❤🙏 Such fun, and and adventure, and kinda thriller!

Pretty sure this movie is where my interest in rock music started.
😂 Zack eyes every time Marty and Loran scenes lmao I mean can't blame him hahaha
How did the Libyans know how to find them? They followed a Geiger counter.
I love at 35:43 he mumbles “Mom” under his breath. Something I didn’t notice as a kid.
The little Jingle sound is present through all 3 movies, it's called "Something's changed" and I absolutely love hearing it haha.
For a cultured and manly guy like Zack I thought he would have seen back to the future lol
Cultured?
@@DW.Strangeman yes he was created in a microbial culture.

Forest Gump is great! 😮😩
The only redeeming quality is Lt. Dan.

I'm not able to watch this right now, but I just wanted to say I can't believe Zack never saw this movie as a kid! Sooo good! Absolute classic. 👌
One of the best movie trilogies ever made!

Anybody who says Huey Lewis is bad music is not someone I care about reactions to anything.lol
Trust me, that’s just fine.
He also didn't like Forrest Gump. He's just got terrible taste in general.
christopher lloyd really is one of the best aspects of this movie
Michael J. Fox is actually a great guitar player and did play the guitar in this movie for real. I believe the singing voice is Huey Lewis… correct me if I’m wrong.
Not Huey Lewis
Great Scott!!!!! This is going to be Amazing!!!!⚡🤯🤘
Christopher Lloyd is also in Clue and My Favorite Martian as well as Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. All are worth watching.

When the gun jams for the Libyan, if you listen closely, the Libyan says, "Damn Soviet gun!"
Always a funny detail
If you haven't seen Christopher Lloyd in the TV show "Taxi", u r letting life go by
Also lastly 💯Yes!!!! Who Framed Roger Rabbit Shane get on that!🙏
Doc and Marty are one of best duo's in all of cinema
Pretty damn cool you got Theodore Bagwell to react here
Y’all should react to prison break next 😁
There is such a thing as the Florence Nightingale effect and I know real life examples.

"so we're starting out with bad music..." end of reaction
If you watch eht 2nd one make sure to stop it at to be concluded part. If you don't you will see a lot of spoilers in it.
if you guys havent already i would suggest ready player one

I’m surprised Zack has never seen this movie considering I’ve seen all 3 a bunch of times and I was born 20 years after the first one
Marty - he's never stood up to Biff in his life
Doc - Never??
Marty - No, why? What's the matter?
Doc - (thinks to himself) fuck it
