If you don't wanna use products, get a headband and put it up after you've showered. I comb may hair back, put that on while I get ready, and take it off before I leave for work. Doesn't look fantastic at first, but in 30min or so it settles and looks fabulous. I don't use products or a blow drier. Tried both and I'm just not a fan. So here's the hint. If you have fine straight hair like me, try a headband. Don't leave it on too long, though. Five to ten minutes should be enough.
With a lot of fine hair, it's even worse that my long hair falls into my face. I wish I had a good hairdresser here in Germany like you. Here in my area, especially in the country, the hairdressers have almost no idea when it comes to a man wanting longer hair on top. They cut your hair and it falls into your face even with product in your hair, it's frustrating. And that's not because of the product, it's because they can't cut it properly. That's why from now on I'll either make everything completely short or let it grow completely long.
currently growing mine and using Loreal hair oil in it, has made a huge difference to my hairs appearance it's got so much more radiance and depth to it since i've started using it. little goes a long way too, only 2 pumps of it per usage.
I just cut my hair after growing it for months. Why? Because my hair kept falling in my face and pricking my eyes and going inside my mouth. Solution? 1. Wear wax or pomade Problem - I used to wash my hair only once or twice a week when I had long hair. If I used wax or pomade then I would have to wash my hair everyday. 2. Tie my hair Problem - it wasn't long enough for that. And anyway tying hair defeats the purpose of growing out my hair. To me it doesn't look good. I would much rather have short textured hair then tied long hair.
Hey SalonGuy, what would this sort of haircut be called? I have a pretty similar haircut, but don't want it to be messed up by the barber if i ask for a trim.
I have hair that falls towards my face whenever I tuck my hair behind my ear. I have a shoulder length flat ironed straight bob, my hair is naturally wavy, coarse, thick. Sometimes I tuck it behind my left ear, but the chunky strands of hair towards the side/back fall forward over my ear and over the hair tucked behind my ear, if that makes any sense. I recently trimmed the ends maybe 1/4 in. Not sure if that's the culprit or not. Prior to that it was fine. Not sure how to fix that. The underneath of my hair near my neck is very thick & curly, big curly chunks, it's annoying. The left side of my hair also is different than the right for some reason, left side is wavy & unruly, right side is fairly straight & falls off the crown straight down . Left side falls in all different directions. Frustrating as anything
I have fought my hair falling in my face for many years. If I cut my hair short, it eliminates that issue but I get “too short hair” hurting my head (feels like it is ingrown until enough length. So I went to bangs, realize that isn’t the best solution for me, but also my hair does not fall in my face nearly as much, which I love. So even tho I wear a bob style, I need layers and probably product, but good cut first. How can I explain to hairstylist what I want? I do try, but I must not communicate it properly. Often, I end up with “see-saw” hair - too short, then out of shape longer, then too short. Ideas?
I want my hair to fall on my face. It feels like rubber. And no matter how many clarifying washes I do. It just feels dry. Please help salonguy. The strands stick together and I lost all my bounce and silkiness
If I grab a strand of my hair and pull it down, it comes back to the front. Knowing that my hair is not curly, but rather wavy. It is extremely dry and it is difficult to be 100% hydrated. I want a solution, please😢.
Step 1 Make sure your using the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair Step 2 use a leave in conditioner Step 3 use a heat protector !!!! Step 4 only use heat only after 3 days

Low taper fade ig
I would probably say anything short-mid length looks good and then for specific styles that depends person to person
