the hall effect switches give custom actuation, rapid trigger gives custom release points allowing the next input to be put in cleaner/ faster. socd, snap tap, rappy snappy w/e your manufacturer wants to call it (its built in null binds) is banned in most fps games because it actually gives an unfair advantage allowing strafing while not releasing your other key ( can hold down the A key while spamming the D key) where as rapid trigger just releases the key a couple miliseconds faster for you
Is there an app that can be used to see the latency and polling rate of the keyboard? I just bought it and I really want to test it with an app. There is no Hz setting on the keyboard. Does it always run at 8000Hz?
i have wooting and also melgeek 68 pro and they are similar, but i prefer melgeek more. Better sound (in my opinion) and also designed better. Playing is prob the same i don’t see any difference

@@xi.Y if you want a good sounding board you get a wooting 80he, its the same 200$ but plastic, HE boards cant sound as good as mechanicals because having a stiff plate is almost a must for no actuation interference
@ drunkdeer has QC issues, and Akko has some of the worst software, super glitchy. Have a wooting 80, the made84 pro, and looking at the Ying or nuphy now, and let me tell you how amazing the Melgeek software is, no glitches, it’s not laggy, and it has every single feature other HE boards sometimes lack

Appreciate it!
Have you tried the Wooting 60HE? If so, how does this compare to that?
I haven't, I see they're super similar, I'll have to check it out!

@@Ak4rii. i have them both. Melgeek build quality and sound is better stock. You can always swap the switches too.

If you're buying a keyboard for its sound then you're in the wrong hobby
