    How exhausting was it even filming the 20's version. Also, this was 20's VS 40's. You missed the thirties where you try to do the 20's thing but by Saturday afternoon everyone is hungover and using their wife as an excuse to go home.

    A few friends and me did a guys trip last year. We were all in mid 30's. Only thing changed was that we couldn't hold in a lot of alcohol and we slept early so we could get up soon and go see places and one of the cars was mine so I had to be careful not to have anything spilled in it and also I had packed my diabetes medication and we had an app to split the bills equally and I hated that it was so loud at a club that I had to go to another place and..... The youtube algorithm frequently points me to people doing very dangerous stuff like ski mountaineering. There's this crazy dividing line between 20 year old ski mountaineers and 30 year old ski mountaineers who post videos.
      The 30 year olds start going up the mountain at 4:00 am (they have well planned timetables for safety thing), they get the to the top at 9 am, they have time to dig a pit/assess the conditions, and they ski down before the avalanche risk becomes large due to warming.
      The 20 year olds start going up the mountain at 7:00 am. They get to the top at noon. There is an argument at the top because the snow conditions are seriously deteriorating. One person says they should dig an avalanche pit to figure out if they're going to die. The other person says that he doesn't want to know if he is going to die, he wants to either die or not die, and any further delay would bring more danger. He goes down the slope on skis and immediately triggers a massive slab avalanche, which he somehow avoids falling into. They avoid death by following the avalanche path down to the bottom.

    Turned thirty recently and was together with the boys, a few of us still know how to have fun but most of them seem to have given up. It's really sad, we never see each other and they can't even keep it together for a weekend anymore. I get that hangovers suck more now but one or two years doesn't have to turn you into a frail, old man. That's a mindset and a choice.

    I just turned 30 this year but I have to say even throughout the entirety of my 20s I would have preferred the 30-year-old road trip. I must admit though, apparently I'm in my 40s since they don't even go on a road trip and that sounds best of all.

  • @jenna2026
    @jenna2026 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Depends on where you live and your mindset. Back where I was from everyone in their 30's behaved this way....but then after I moved to California I noticed 60 year old men on skateboards and mohawks. It was a new experience because I was not used to seeing "adults" behave that way. Also, I think single people tend to carry out adolescence and open mindedness more than married people, who become more set in their ways and on a routine.

Such as a Christian and who's family either farmed or did a lot of other growing/raising animals/building things type things ( and not just as a little cute hobby , for best results ). They're familiar with real life, often also babies and kids or at least baby animals & their mamas. It seems normal to them to be mature and responsible and have intelligent conversations and so on.

      You can drink more noe than in your early 20s. You just have to find what suits you. If 20 year old me drank an 80 proof bottle of whiskey, he was probably going to puke from all the coles he drank with it. 35 year old me can drink a bottle of high proof and watch the sun set.
      The difference is drinking once or twice a month rather than 6 days a week like I did as a kid

    My 40 year old bf is still acting like he's in his 20s 😂 Well, at the weekends anyway. His days of weekday drinking are well and truly behind him, he wouldn't get to work otherwise. 😁❤😄

    Just turned 30 and came back from my lake placid trip with the homies. This is painfully accurate. It hurts.

    I'm 30 and have more energy now than I did at 20. Never had a drink or done any kind of drug though so there's that...
